| | | GoF DVD sells 5 million on first day of sale in US
Business Wire reports that nearly 5 million copies of the ' Goblet of Fire' DVD were sold in the US on the first day of release. Quote:
"We're extremely pleased with the out-of-the-gate success of the DVD release of 'Goblet of Fire'," said Ron Sanders, President, Warner Home Video. "We knew fans really connected with this installment in the Harry Potter series, and that continued loyalty to the franchise has carried over to these phenomenal DVD sales figures."

| Hmm In the US, 5 million isn't a lot...is it? Bah. Anyway, when do we Brits get our hands on it? How unfair. Or have I missed it? lol...Grr. |

| I was one of those loyal fans and got in on the 7th! I loved the special features DVD!!! So worth it! Daniel Radcliffe is the best Harry Potter! I am proud I am one of the 5m people to buy the DVD on its release date! Though I throrougly believe that this movie should have been released in both the UK and the US on the same. I'm saying this because I plan on movie to England from the US after I graduate highschool/college! Harry Potter just rocks! ~Stacey~ |
