In australia, they were charging 8 dollars to preorder your copy of OOTP, and books are extremely expensive over here, its A$29 for a hardback copy of PS, and A$50 for GOF! I think im going to get mine from target, i got OOTP paperback for $12.

Does this just apply for pre-orders for the UK? Or can anyone from outside UK order from them and also get that discount?

I've always been curious about pre-ordering. Do they send you the book, or do you have to go pick it up? If they send it to you, is it on the day it comes out, or do you have to wait for it? I live in the US if there are any differences. | |

Pre-Orders, unless made through delivery sites like Amazin, most likely don't deliver, they just reserve you a copy. You'd have to check wherever you were buying your book from though.
