[img]http://www.snitchseeker.com/images/news/harry_hedwig_window_80.jpg' align='middle'> First Lady speaks again about her love of HP - Summary: Article:
[from an interview of First Lady Laura Bush with NBC's Norah O'Donnell on the Today Show]
O'DONNELL: I understand this year you've chosen an interesting theme, Season of Stories, which is a theme I'm sure near and dear to your heart as a former librarian.
MRS. BUSH: That's right, as an old librarian and longtime -- life long reader. It's been really fun. I picked books that I particularly loved, Nancy Drew and my newest favorite, Harry Potter, who's back here over my shoulder.
O'DONNELL: Oh, cool.
MRS. BUSH: I read all the Harry Potter books, all five of them, this summer and it was like finding a great mystery writer and having that whole body of work to read at once. I really loved them. |

| It just shows that people have The Bush's pegged so wrong. Its funny to see people suprised that she would like a great book series like ours. I mean its fun, imaginative, creative, intelligent, its everything that children, teens and adults should read. Laura understands that, so of course she would like it |

I would rather have a better president, but I always liked his wife. That's great that she likes HP, I read somewhere this fall that she did.

I wonder why George hasn't read them yet. Maybe he has... maybe he thinks people would tease him if he admitted he read 'kid books'. I know that I certainly would!
YAY! I am glad that an important adult like her admits that they read the series. Maybe more adults will read it. My mom read and loved the series. She's started calling our house 'The Burrow.' |

I'm not suprised she's raving about Harry Potter. It's nice she doesn't think of them as just "kids's books".

Yes. Now I am not the oldest Harry Potter fan. Just Kidding. It is neat that famous and prominent people warm up to harry potter just as much as we all do. Funny that she read all 5 during the summer, even with a busy schedule.
