Exclusive: Half-Blood Prince London, Japan & New York premiere dates
 

We have just received confirmation from Warner Bros that the Japanese premiere of Half-Blood Prince will take place on Monday, July 6, 2009. The date was first announced at a fan event that took place in Japan on April 19, after which we inquired about the date.

Warner Bros also states that this is the FIRST world premiere, and that two more will take place afterwards in London and New York. The London premiere will take place on Tuesday, July 7th, and the New York City premiere will be the next day, on July 8th.

At the moment we do not know which of the stars will be attending the Japanese premiere; that information will be made public closer to the July date.

I'm fairly sure they kept it so close together so that they'll take less time to promote in order to go back and continue filming DH.

Wow! What about the news i received earlier that India will be in 2nd or 3rd week of June???

I assume you're referring to the misprint by Glam Sham magazine that the film will be released in June. The film's release date for India is still slated for July 17 per Warner Brothers.

Well it is, London is the big one, but the first premiere takes place in Japan.

Aww, all of those places are ages away from me. I doubt I'll be able to go all the way down to London for it. I'll just have to wait for when it comes out in the cinemas...

Wednesday...okay so go to school, endure it, then run out of the doors as soon as my final class is over, take a train to Manhattan and I'm set...oh wait, I've got some parents to convince...minor setback. I'm sure I'll be able to do that!:lol:
