In a follow up to our report yesterday about Evanna Lynch visiting the Irish Centre for Talented Youth, we’ve discovered that Evanna is actually enrolled at the school this summer, attending a speculative fiction course in fantasy and sci fi writing. Quote:
The second week is easier but you do still have to work very hard. I'm doing speculative fiction and it's very challenging but it's very good.
I don't think I would be good enough to write a book like J.K. Rowling though. Her way of writing is so brilliant. She is my idol.
To be accepted by the school, which teaches college-level courses, students must score in the top 5 percent of their age group in the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT).
It looks like Evanna might give Emma Watson a run for her money in the academic arena. Quote:
It's nice to have a challenge like this. I do three to five hours of part-time tuition on the set and it's quite hard because it's very intense.
Evanna also spoke a bit about her first Harry Potter promotional experience: Quote:
I loved the madness. There were loads of premieres and I went to J.K. Rowling's launch of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
