It has been announced, on Emma Watson’s website, that she will be playing the voice of Princess Pea in a movie called The Tale of Despereaux. Robbie Coltrane is also cast in the movie, as a character named Gregory. Actors such as Sigourney Weaver, Dustin Hoffman and William H. Macey will be joining them.
The following is a short summary of the plot: Quote:
The The Tale of Despereaux is a tale of three unlikely heroes - a misfit mouse who prefers reading books to eating them and who is desperately in love with a princess (Emma), an unhappy rat who schemes to leave the darkness of the dungeon, and a bumbling servant girl with cauliflower ears - whose fates are intertwined with that of the castle’s princess.
The movie is scheduled to be released in December 2008. | |
