| | | Devonshire fans go Potty for HBP
Apparently more pre-orders for ' Half-Blood Prince' have been received in Devon than anywhere else in the UK, according to the BBC.
Rachel Airey, a children's fiction buyer for WH Smith, said: Quote:
"The readership of Harry Potter is getting older as children grow up with the books.
"But it is also being refreshed as younger readers discover the books for the first time.
"We have had a film since the last book and that will certainly help sales of the new one."
The Top 10 pre-order locations in the UK are as follows: Quote:
* Exeter
* Meadowhall shopping centre, Sheffield
* Arndale Centre, Manchester
* Cribbs Causeway, Bristol
* Swansea
* Wimbledon, London
* Brierley Hill shopping centre, West Midlands
* Bath
* Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
* Lakeside shopping centre, Thurrock, Essex

Haven't preordered. I'm taking my chances. There are lots of stores and bookstores around my area where I can get it. Now that I think about it, I'm surrounded with all kinds of stores! |

You all should be able to pre-order your book from amazon (.co.uk or .com), thats where I ordered mine from. Especially in the UK, if you get in now it's still about £9 cheaper than it will be when its released in the summer!!
