Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 was nominated for a 2012 Costume Designers Guild Award, in the fantasy film category. It is up against other such features as X-Men: First Class and Thor. The event will take place on Tuesday, February 21st, 2012 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.  Excellence in Fantasy Film:
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2" – Jany Temime
"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" – Penny Rose
"Red Riding Hood" – Cindy Evans
"Thor" – Alexandra Byrne
"X-Men: First Class" – Sammy Sheldon
Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is also nominated for a 49th Annual ICG Publicists Award this year in the Maxwell Weinberg Publicists Showmanship Award, recognising the the best union publicists behind the feature (in this instance, Warner Bros' publicists).
