Deathly Hallows: Part 2 London premiere live-streams; Larry King special preview
The world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is set to take place one week from today, Thursday, July 7, 2011, in London's Trafalgar Square. For those who are unable to attend, both the official Harry Potter YouTube and Facebook will be live-streaming the event, set to take place at 4:00pm GMT (11:00am EST/9:00am PST).
The entire cast, led by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, are confirmed to attend the three-hour-scheduled premiere, as well as J.K. Rowling, producers David Heyman and David Barron, and director David Yates. SnitchSeeker will be covering the red carpet that afternoon, to chat with the stars and crew to bring the latest. We will also have our exclusive review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 soon after the premiere, so keep an eye out for that.
To promote the release of the final film, Warner Bros set up a fun Parseltongue translator, where fans can type in any phrase, and get an audio translation of the statement in Parseltongue. Test that out here (the audio is even downloadable).
Additionally, the first preview of the CNN Larry King special on the Harry Potter series was aired, with quick glances at the host's interviews with Dan and Emma. That can be viewed below.
The special, with new interviews from the trio, Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Tom Felton, and James and Oliver Phelps down in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, will air on CNN Sunday, July 10, 2011.
