In a new interview with MTV, Harry Potter producer David Heyman confirmed that the epilogue featured at the end of Deathly Hallows will be filmed for the eighth movie of the series, wherein original actors Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Bonnie Wright and Tom Felton will be aged up to play their elder fictional counterparts. Quote:
“We will shoot it,” producer David Heyman confirmed for MTV News. Rowling wrote a flash-forward ending to “The Deathly Hallows” that shows where the characters end up as they grow older. Heyman also indicated that the original Hogwarts actors would be filling those roles for the sequence, rather than being replaced by older lookalikes.
“Yes,” he acknowledged, nodding that aging done to the characters would use the existing cast.

I dont think anyone will have a dry eye in the theaters!! Also they are supposed to be 37 years old so not exactly alot of wrinkles or gray hair even! LOL It will be so amazing to see them in these roles flash forward!!! It wouldnt have been the same w/ different people.

I think you're right that the epilogue should be after the entire movie is done. That way, everyone will stay tuned after all of the credits; I believe that anyone who's worked in the HP movies should have their names seen and acknowledged by every viewer. Once they're done, the epilogue can start. That would be a perfect ending. Right? | |

I'm still kinda iffy on the whole aging the characters look, but I'm just glad that they're filming the scene in general. Finally, I'll have a face to place with the kids, instead of just imagining how Jo described them. I can't wait to see little Rose and Scorpius!
