Variety is reporting that
Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe is set to star in the independent comedy,
The Amateur Photographer. A short synopsis of the film is as follows.

The 1970-set tale follows a young man who discovers his artistic calling after being drafted by the denizens of a sleepy little New England mill town to serve as photographer of their most intimate moments.
Filmmaker Christopher Monger will be directing the film, of which he wrote the screenplay. We are currently inquiring on more information from Dan's reps in regards to the project, including when he will start to film the movie, and will update as soon as we receive it.
Dan is currently rehearsing for the upcoming Broadway production of
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, with previews starting February 26, 2011. He is also attached to a remake of
All Quiet on the Western Front, which begins production in 2012.
