Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and Harry Potter producer David Heyman will be taking part in July's London Olympic games in various indirect ways. 
First off, Dan and Emma recorded clips that will be played after the end of various events during the games, set to begin on July 27, according to the Associated Press, where they and various other celebrities will be saying good-bye and well wishes as athletes and spectators leave. Quote:
Videos have been recorded by celebrities that will be shown at the end of each sports session to say goodbye to the fans.
Among those appearing are Hollywood actresses Theron, Geena Davis and Helen Mirren, ''Harry Potter'' stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, and Olympic greats Mark Spitz and Nadia Comaneci. Spectators are reminded to ''mind the gap'' when they take the Underground train home.
On July 31, Rupert and Heyman will take part in the Creative Industries segment of the Global Business Summit during the games, where they and Warner Bros executive Josh Berger will discuss the success of the Harry Potter film series. Quote:
During the Creative Industries segment of the programme on July 31, speakers will include Josh Berger [pictured] from Warner Bros alongside actors Rupert Grint and producer David Heyman talking about the phenomenon of Harry Potter.

Ooh I really hope any Harry Potter related themes will be included in the opening ceremony of the London Olympics next month. I mean, the games are being held in England and obviously they need to include notable features of their country and Harry Potter is certainly one of it. I watched all the olympic ceremonies and I absolutely loved seeing JK Rowling in the opening as well as some other adult Harry Potter actors portraying certain well known british people. It amazed me how much the guy who played Wormtail actually looked like Wiston Churchill. But I guess I didn't watch enough of the closing ceremonies because I didn't see the trio's messages. I hope they have the messages on my TV's On Demand.
