| | | Dan Radcliffe & Emma Watson talk Deathly Hallows forest scenes & character changes Yahoo! have released part of their set visit interviews with Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, who spoke about filming camp scenes in various forests for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last year. Emma discusses how different the scenery is compared to having shot the first six installments primarily at Hogwarts; Dan explains how much Harry has grown mentally and physically, to the point where he has become wary of his best friends. Quote:
Emma Watson noted, "It was so nice to be outside, in the forest and out of the studio - running about. It was so much fun. Because it’s such an emotional, heavy film, it was nice to get out and do some action stuff.
"They were very fun scenes to film. Being out of Hogwarts just makes it really different. It just gives the audience a whole different experience. I’m so excited to see it together."
Quote:
Watson adds, "It's challenging in every way - physically, emotionally. They’re away from home. They’re isolated, they don’t have any news. They don’t know what they’re doing. They’re pulling at shreds. Dumbledore had hardly left them anything to go on."
Quote:
And Radcliffe concedes that shooting the two parts of Deathly Hallows out of sequence has its confusing moments.
"It’s been odd trying to keep track of it all. I’ve forgotten stuff we’ve done. It’s been a weird experience."
Of course, this being a Harry Potter film, it’s not all fun and light. Especially not for the teen wizard.
“Harry is like a Roman Emperor in his last days and everyone is turning on him," moaned Radcliffe. "Harry is completely paranoid about what Ron and Hermione are saying about him. He thinks they’re doubting his leadership, but while he is asking people that, he himself is doubting his leadership. He has no plan, so he is pretty useless."
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released on November 19, 2010 and July 15, 2011. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: unsorted | This is a great interview and it gets me so pumped for the movie!!! I'm so happy they kept in Harry's paranoia. It's one of the elements of book 7 that made things so suspenseful, because you never knew what Harry would do next. The whole time he's just grasping for straws and making it up as he goes along and even though that worked in the past (sort of), he's in a life and death situation now. It's not fun and games anymore.
Deathly Hallows is going to be an amazing film to experience. I can't wait! |

It's such an interesting story. I just hope the adaptation doesn't shred it.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Jacqueline Antonia Dillinger Sixth Year | NY Yankees Love! This is awesome! No matter that Yahoo! released part of their interviews of their visit to the Harry Potter 7 set, it's still great and it has got me pump even more. I can't wait. Just ten months and four days away. Yeah, I know I said "just". lol.
I love how the cast members of the Harry Potter films, and, in this case, Daniel and Emma know and understand their characters very well. Who they are, how they feel and such.... Now, in regards to the Harry, Hermione and Ron trio, it will certainly be something to experience that forest scene - watch them truly outside of Hogwarts. |

omg! i can't wait either.... i just got done re-reading ( 8th time) DH and i know what triggers harry's issues with not trusting his friends. (not saying in case someone who hasn't read the book read's this)
My Question is How do the actors feel now that the series is done?! They spent so much time on these movies... They must feel sad that it's come to an end.
