As he has stated in previous interviews, last Monday Dan Radcliffe told SlashFilm that he is still convinced that Harry will die at the end of the series … and that he actually hopes that will be the case. Quote:

I think it will be something to do with the fact that ... maybe the only way Voldemort can be killed is if Harry is killed as well. My friend sort of compared it to both Holmes and Moriarty dying at the same time. But, obviously, he hasn't read the sequel [in which Holmes was revived]. So, yes, but that's the thing that I would sort of like to see coming.

hmm...well, actually i think that a good way to end the book is for harry to die. Even if he did die i would still like an 8th book. that is the reason i think that harry should die. if there was an 8th book i wouldn't want him to die

I have this sneaking suspicion that Harry will die, but at the same time I hope he doesnt. If Harry were to die, I don't think I'd be able to find it in my heart to re-read the books 10 years down the line, just like I can't find it in me to watch Titanic a second time.
I can predict this though : If Harry were to die, the whole world would go in mourning for about a month after the book is released. | |

OK .. well I agree with Dan on this one .. Harry has to die in my opinion to get rid of Old voldy for good and so that JK doesn't have to write an 8th (No matter how much Id like her to, the series would just keep going on and on and I think it will get a little thin - don't hit me!!!) .. Id love Harry to survive but I don't see any other way around it!!

I hope that if he does die at the end of book seven that info doesn't get out before we've had a chance to read the book. Last time for book six everyone was careful but you never know! P.S. she absolutely can't kill Snape! he has to have his redemption and end up happy!
