In a new interview with Surrey Online, Chris Rankin has spoken about his character, Percy Weasley, in regards to ' Order of the Phoenix' as well as reflecting on his experiences in the Potter franchise. Quote:
"Over the course of the films, he's [Percy's] gone from being a stuck-up, poncey prefect to quite a nasty piece of work," says Rankin.
"My character didn't appear in the last film but, when he makes his return in the next one, he starts to become really obnoxious.
"By that stage, of course, he's working for the Ministry of Magic and he's become so power-hungry that he'll step on anyone to get where he wants.
"And let's just say that the Minister for Magic, Mr Crouch, has his shoes well and truly kissed!"
Chris also talks about what he'd like to see happen to Percy in the last book; "Obviously, for my part, I'm hoping that Percy's descent into evil will continue, and by the end, he'll be Voldemort's second in command, or something like that."

his character is a right little piece of work but i cant see him workin with voldie. he just doesn't have the nerve to be that cruel. he may be stupid and a prat but lets face it, he isnt exactly evil is he. i dont think he could kill but then again jk has developed percy's character so extensively anything is possible.
