At least with the first TDK teaser, yes you only saw the Batman logo, but you did get some genuine dialogue from the film.
Teasers that show no actual footage whatsoever (and not even audio) annoy the hell outta me. Don't even bother, if that's the case.
| I guess everyone has their own opinion on the matter butt, I don't think it's about "showing footage"...Especially with stuff that you already know is gonna be brief: such as trailers.
The point of them, in my opinion, is just to excite you. Watch the HBO/Behind the Looks stuff for real "footage".
Nothing tops you sitting in the movie theatre just rolling your eyes at all the upcoming movies and hoping you'd get to the REAL movie you want to see [with your mind ions away from HP, mind you] and hearing the HP theme music pop up from nowhere...It's a great sensation, really. I squealed. Literally. && then had a friend stuff popcorn in my mouth. An amazing memory that'll stay with me forevermoreeeee.
