Surrounding the arena are seats for spectators who wish to watch the ongoing activities. The decorations along the walls indicate that a match is about to take place. Depending on the teams scheduled to compete that day, alternating sections of the arena are adorned with the colours of the opposing House teams. No matter where you choose to sit, there isn't a bad seat in the stands. Whether you're cheering for a friend trying out for the team, sneaking a peek at an opposing team during practice, supporting your House team in what promises to be an exciting match, or simply looking to relax and enjoy the scenery with others, this arena is the perfect place to be.

A word of caution: While Gobstone matches can be entertaining to watch, there's always the possibility that the Gobstone's sticky goo might get in your face. There is a magical shield in place to protect against the worst of the blast, but not all areas are completely shielded.

This would be the very last time Zen would find him up in the Seating Arena as moral support, for obvious reasons. At least she would have Di next year. The thought sent a sharp pang of pain through his chest but it was acknowledged then filed away for processing when he had some time alone. “She sure looks nervous, doesn’t she?” he murmured to the bestie as Zen sent a tiny smile in their direction. The seventh year ceased the opportunity to mouth to her “GOOD LUCK!” before continuing the conversation with Di. “I mean, she’s excellent with Gobstones so it’s understandable that she would feel a little pressure to continue that trend but at the same time…. she’s excellent! She doesn’t need to worry.” Yes, his words carried an air of extreme confidence.

Ciara was in the ~~house~~ Arena!

She hadn’t exactly acquired a seat just yet but that hardly mattered as she simply intended to prance around cheering for her brother. That and sprinkling silver and green glitter in celebration of him trying out. Cee didn’t care if Ty made the Slytherin team or not; she was just proud that he had made an attempt.

“YOU GOT THIS, TY!”

With great enthusiasm, the first year flung silver glitter in the air, quickly followed up by green. Not having enough time to purchase some of her own, Cee had ‘borrowed’ tubes of the glitter from the Art Classroom. She would replace them before anyone noti-

Uh oh.

There was the DADA professor who was in charge of Art.

Cee suddenly found herself sitting down very quickly and trying not to look too guilty.

Shimron was there alright.

He had made his appearance just as Ciara began flinging glitter in the air. Though it did not immediately occur to him that she might have gotten them from the Art Classroom, his keen instinct would nudge him in this direction shortly. For now, the professor nodded in greeting to those gathered before taking a seat. Residual glitter fluttered down, smoothly landing on his person inclusive of his hair and broad shoulders.

Green and silver. He was more of a blue and bronze kind of person himself.

Speaking of that particular House…

His eyes lingered on his one of his reasons for being here - and it was most certainly not Menon. Of course, Shim wanted to see all the students succeed but knew unfortunately that would not be the case. Still, it could be a learning experience for them all to up their game.

Diego was here, and he had some popcorn. Why watch without a little snack? He of course was here to support his girlfriend, Zen. "Yeah... she'll pull through, I know it." He said to Vi. They also had more friends playing Gobstones! Like Kara for instance, who he knew was having a difficult time.

Oh, there was a Professor here. "Hello, Professor Goth. You like Gobstones too?" He asked.

Connor sat with Ciara. Likely Tiana was on her way too to support their brother. He almost felt like a parent now, watching over nearly all of his siblings. Unfortunately, he'll have graduated by the time Tyron arrives at Hogwarts, but wasn't the main point. "Go get them, Ty!" He joined in the cheering.

Connor looked over to see a certain someone out the corner of his eye. Pointedly ignoring them, he instead wondered where Falcon went? Probably forgot something in the dorms again.

Vi took a look at Di in amusement. He liked the initiative of bringing along the popcorn - like this was a movie which they both were at. Then again, it was entertaining watching the Gobstones tryouts. He even threw in a few cheers for the hopefuls who weren’t doing so well. He knew what it was like to not be as good at something one would like to be. “Yep, she will. And we know Professor… er, Coach Feirgrund will be super proud of her. Hey, question. Do you miss playing Gobstones?” Vi was just curious, but was eternally grateful he and the bestie got to play Quidditch together now, and hopefully in the very near future.

Viano had only just settled back into his seat after yet another enthusiastic cheer for Zen {he really did feel as though he were taking over from Idris here

} when he became acutely aware of Connor’s presence. The familiar smirk graced his face as he watched the Ravenclaw cheer on his brother. And when he noticed the subtle-ish glance in his direction? Well, Vi couldn’t resist his smirk growing a tad wider. “Just borrowing one of your popcorn, Di.” He reached over to take one, but used magic. Directing the popcorn with his wand, he lazily flicked it towards Connor. Surely the fifth year wouldn’t react in an umbrageous manner?

Ciara continued to wear the most innocent of looks that her pretty face could manage. Needless to say that she had much practise in this department since she was constantly up to shenanigans. She offered Professor Goth a bright smile but her attention soon shifted to her brother. “Con!” With great delight to see him there, she jumped up to fling her arms around him. “Fancy seeing you here!” Grinning, she threw more glitter in the air. Sorry, Con. These definitely were not your House colours but you know… this was about Ty.

“Ty seems to be doing very well,’’ she reported, tossing her hair. “They had better give him a spot on the team or else…” Cee shook a fist in the general area of the Arena below. Naturally, her words were just an empty threat but her dramatics were on point. Catching Con looking around, she asked, “Looking for anyone in particular?” And was that seventh year smirking at Con? Her green eyes darted back to her brother. “Is there something going on between you two?” Did she need to fight Viano for him? Because though Cee wasn't a physical fighter, she could become one if anyone messed with Con.

That was exactly what Shim was wondering as he watched the popcorn being used as a projectile. Though he hadn’t heard Ciara’s question, it was obvious that Viano was trying to get Connor’s attention. “Viano,’’ he began lazily, settling comfortably back into his seat. “The next time you flick anything at anyone, I’ll ask Professor Menon to have you clean the entire Arena. Without magic. If you want Connor’s attention, there are nicer ways to do so.” Like making him his favourite snack. That thought made him miss his goofball of a husband

“Hello, Diego. I do. I’ve always been more partial to it than Quidditch.” No offense to him or Viano, as Shim knew they both were active Quidditch players. “Who are you two here to support?”
