Usernames

Please select your username carefully and be sure to proofread before you submit your registration to avoid spelling mistakes. It is important that you are safety-minded when selecting your username - it is best not to include full names, your date of birth, age, or other personal information.

Please note that SnitchSeeker.com will no longer be allowing the use of special characters or symbols in usernames (such as hearts, stars, Chinese characters, etc.). While members that already have usernames with these special characters can keep these usernames, they may be required to change their username if technical issues arise.

Passwords & Account Security

It is the responsibility of each member to keep their own passwords private. Members will be held responsible for all activity committed by your account, no exceptions. If for any reason you believe your account is not secure, please change your password or contact us immediately.

With the exception of special accounts used for site facilitation, accounts must not be shared by multiple people. Any accounts found to appear on sites such as bugmenot.com will be banned. Sharing of account passwords is against the rules and this is a gross violation of that rule.

Multiple Accounts

Each member is allowed only one account on SnitchSeeker. Members who are found to have multiple accounts may be infractioned and repeat offenders can be suspended and/or banned.

Every now and then someone creates a second account in error or due to having had lost the details of a very old account. If this is you please note that we are able to recover old accounts in 99 percent of cases and we can merge old and new together. In these cases, at the discretion of the admin team, multiple accounts may be merged without fear of infraction or suspension. It is important that you be as honest and transparent about your particular situation with us as possible so that we can help you.

Please endeavor to contact an admin if you are concerned about your current account before creating a new account.

Account Deletion

Accounts are rarely deleted once they have been registered. If you have a problem with your account or are concerned about personal security, please contact us or PM an admin directly. If you simply do not like your username, please read about your options here.
