Default The Deck (Reception)

The first area that you come across when coming on board the ship is the main reception area which has been situated onto the main deck of the ship. A reception desk has been conjured up, and set up, just opposite the gangway, so that nobody that is not authorised can gain access to the ship.
Please come up to the receptionist and state your business.

"Simon knows where and where not to go in our department." And he would be keeping a close eye just in case the man went somewhere he shouldn't be. So everything would be fine.
Edward nodded as Ashby addressed him about Simon. Yes sir. Sorry. I'm a bit of a creature of habit and I'm a little nervous about my own personal security. I'll head on down to my work area if you wouldn't mind leading me. Edward was glad to have received some measure of affirmation from his new boss. He sure would hate to have made a poor first impression as an employee.

Ahh yes. The man didn't quite know where to go. "I'll take you down." Because he didn't suspect anybody was going to come onto his ship now. Maybe he needed to put a charm in place so he would know where people came aboard. That would make sense. Maybe he would discuss that with Simon. Ahh Simon.

"If you want to come along too Simon I'll take you down stairs." And make sure he didn't nosy around too much.

He must have covered every detail at least twice on the way here. It was foolproof so long as certain little hiccups didn't present themselves. "Step lively men, we don't want people bumping into you." Gavin muttered to the disillusioned men he was walking with. This shouldn't take terribly long then he could get back to his office and the world would be a perfect place again.

Taking a tone with Gavin Isaacs, honestly.

He led the way onto the deck to what he assumed was now reception and headed over to the desk, trusting them to follow silently. At the desk he muttered a polite greeting to the Receptionist, stated his title and his directive here--to oversee operations. The Minister was terribly concerned about the efficiency of the various departments and needed him to have a look, make sure nothing had to be compromised too badly.

That was the official story, one that didn't need much thought. Once permitted through Gavin smiled politely at her then headed off. See? That was meant to be one of the harder parts.

William had made himself QUITE disillusioned this time around. He was starting to become an expert with this spell, thanks to all his spy activities with Joćo. He kept close to Gavin, feeling the need to crouch or duck for some reason, and actually held his breath when they bypassed the receptionist.

WHEWWWWWW. So far, so good. Onto the hold now, right? The one part of the ship they hadn't yet seen? HE WAS SO EXCITED TO FINALLY DO THIS.

Joćo couldn't help but wonder how Mr. Isaacs looked so SO collected about the whole business, but he didn't question it out loud. Instead, after applying himself PROFESSIONALLY PERFECT disillusionment charm, he followed the two men (WWW invisible there too) quietly onto the ship. Soon enough, they were past the receptionist (HAH!) and were advancing into the mysterious Department of Mysteries.

He owed BIG TIME to Mr. Isaacs for this.

Edward had been looking at the books and needed a break. He walked out of his area into the center of the hold and began to look for the loo. He really should have asked that question when he was with Ashby, but had forgotten about it. He didn't see anything in the hold that suited so headed for the stairs. As he began to ascend them, he noted the presence of a gentlemen. He called up to him. Excuse me. Do you happen to know where I can locate the loo?

Single file was the best way to head down the stairs just because of situations like the one before him, a man heading up the stairs asking for the loo. Did he look like he worked here? Did he look sociable enough to be asked questions that would be of no concern to himself? He didn't think so. Gavin spared no more than a glance at the man but said no words as he continued his descent. No he didn't know where the bathroom was and didn't have the time to be bothered about it.

Have a nice day, yeah?

Joćo was safely on the deck, but he didn't even turn around or hesitate. He simply kept on walking, was glad Mr. Isaacs was a popular enough man to pull everyone to himself down there, and in less than a minute he was out of the ship and on the safe, solid ground.
