Hey, I’m Kerri and this is my second FF on SS.

Disclaimer: None of the Harry Potter world is mine. It belongs to JK Rowling I only get to play around with them

Background Info: Ginny is in 5th year and Harry is in 6th. Ron and Hermione are together

Chapter 1

Back again. I don’t understand why people get so excited about going back to school. Ok I guess when you’re a first year it’s exciting but after you have been at the same school with the same teachers and people for the past five years it loses its touch. So here I am, once again, on the Hogwarts express.
I was quite content sitting in my chair and looking out the window while my friends played some muggle game called ‘Truth or Dare’. Once I heard the rules I automatically said I wasn’t taking part because I knew nothing good could come from it. Although about twenty minutes after they had started to play my best friend Alice convinced me to join in for one game.

“Ok Ginny, it’s your turn, Truth or Dare?” Lauren asked me. I didn’t really like her. She always had to be the best at everything and was a stuck up snob but she was cousins with Alice so we couldn’t really kick her out of the group but her being here means that Jessica and Nikki, her followers as me and Alice call them, are also here. So it’s really just me and Alice who liked each other and the other three hated us back, who knows why they hang around with us but we just can’t seem to get rid of them.

“Oh come on do I seriously have to do this?” I looked at Alice, who glared at me and told me to pick one or she would hit me. You can never say no to Alice.

“Fine, I’ll do it, Truth.” To be honest I knew the question before she even asked it. She always asked me about him.

“Harry Potter.” was all she said.

“You do know that’s not a question, right?” I said, getting annoyed at myself because the minute his name is mentioned I blushed. Ever since I started to date other guy’s people have started to think I had finally gotten over Harry but I haven’t the only person that knows this is Alice but Lauren will never stop asking me about him.

“Ok, remember you have to tell the truth.” I nodded and she continued. “Would you be mad at me if I asked Harry if he wanted to date me?” I instantly froze. Come on Ginny, play it cool.

“Why would I be angry? It isn’t like I like him anymore.” I couldn’t get my mouth to stop and before I knew it I was telling her:

“You know what? I’ll get you guy’s together.” Ok I’ve gone mad.

“Oh Ginny, that would be great! Can you go ask what he thinks about me?”
“What, right now?” I asked in shock.

“Yes. Go!” Then she pushed me out of the compartment and into the corridor in the train. I can’t believe I was about to ask the boy I was practical in love with what he thought about another girl.
I stopped outside the compartment he was in with Neville and Luna. I took a deep breath and walked in.

loved it!!!!!!!!! why does ron always have to barge in at exactly the wrong moments?!?! i think an over-protective-brother radar goes off in his head whenever ginny and harry are together....but who knows, maybe its just a ron thing....the world will never know

It was a great post Kerri. I really hate Jessica and Lauren. I'd like to slap them, though I'm dissapointed in Alice. But I have a feeling she'll be back soon.

I'm not going to blabber on about why it took me ages

Ron just looked at us, there wasn't even a word for what his face looked like it was just kind of blank. His mouth opened and shut a few times before he acctually spoke proper words.
"Ginny. What are you doing here." He asked. Ok, that wasn't what I expected him to say. I was about to answer him, tell him it wasn't what it looked like, even thought it was exactly what it looked like, Hermione burst throught the door. He hair was messier that usual and she looked flushed. I looked closer and seen that her lips were slightly swollen aswell. Both Harry and I turned to Ron, Who I now noticed also had swollen lips and raised my eyebrows at him.
"Ok ... You know what? Me and Hermione are just going to leave and pretend like not of this ever happened ok?" Ron asked looking at me sternly, warning me not to say enything to anyone.
"That probably and good idea." Harry said smirking at his two best friends. "Have fun." He yelled after them, laughing.
"Well that was interesting." I said a couple of minutes later. " I knew they would get together eventually." I said as I leaned back against Harry's cheast.
"Yeah, me took. Though I don't think they've talked about it yet." He said
"What do you mean?" I asked confused and turned my head slightly to look at him. He rapped his arms around my waiste and sighed.
"Well, I think that their confused. They don't understand what their feeling. I mean the first time they kissed they were having this massive fight one minute and the next they were all over each other." He siad sounding like he wanted to throw up. I just laughed at him. "What? Its going to take some time for me to get used to my bestfriends snogging each other." I just laughed harder and pecked him on the lips.
"Come on, I think we here." I said as i pulled him up from the seat.
"Great!" He said in mock enthusiasm. "I wonder whats in store for me this year." He joked.

Sorry it took ages to write

The first day of school always sucks, even for witches. You had to get up early and, in my case, endure from breakfast to lunch in Snape’s class and in the presence of Lauren. The only good thing that got me through that day was the fact that I could be with Harry. The rest of my classes weren’t so bad. Lauren had decided to try and make my life a live hell but had done anything more that trip me up during my short walk between classes but I wasn’t taking it lightly, I knew it was going to get worse. My only advantage was that I would be ready when it did.
I was now sitting at dinner playing with my food wondering how it was even possible that I felt so happy and so sad at the same time. I was happy because I have been in love with Harry for years and now I finally had him but I was also so sad that I had lost my best friend, my only friend in the process. We were so close that I didn’t have the time or find it necessary to have any more friends; I guess I was paying for it now.
I went back up to the common room feeling like crap and all I wanted to do was go to bed but Snape had given us homework and I didn’t want detention in my first week. I was the only one in the common room and for that I was grateful, I wouldn’t have any distractions. Or so I thought.
Just as I had finally finished my essay, Harry walked through the door, I looked up in surprize because I though everyone was in bed because it was way past two in the morning, yeah that’s how long it took me to . He smiled when he noticed me and I smiled back.
“Hey.” He said softly and sat down beside me and put his arm around my waist.
“Hi, why are you just coming in?” I asked and put my head on his shoulder.
“Oh, I went to go see Hagrid and then I had to write a letter to someone.” I replied. I was too tired to ask who he was writing too. I could feel my eyes start to feel really heavy.
“Come on, let’s get you to bed.” Harry said helping me up. I slowly grabbed my stuff and walked with Harry to the entrance of the girl’s dorm. I turned to him and shyly pressed my lips to his. I could feel him smiling against my lips and I sighed. I pulled my lips away and wished him good night. I got into bed and feel asleep with a smile on my face.
