Rebecca slipped into the robes shop and instantly headed to the racks of dress robes. Daddy was throwing a party, and so she needed new clothes. Muggle things woulnd't do, even if they were Prada, unfortunately. She browsed through the robes, occasionally pulling out the prettier ones and draping them over her arm to try on. She glanced down once she had about five or six sets, and then walked over to the display of scarves. She loved a good scarf, especially pretty, silky, floaty ones. |
Dianna Knotting had been meaning to stop by and buy new robes, but she hadn't had the time. Today though, she made the time, her tummy was quite large as she was pregnant with twins, she definitely needed new robes, her normal ones were too small now. Entering the shop she walked at a decent pace towards the dress robes, she began looking through them pulling out only a couple that she found quite impressive. Noticing another woman, Dianna nodded her head once to the woman as if she was saying hello, and walked around her to continue her shopping. |
Leonidas heard about the end of the year ball, and decided to buy Benjamin and his muggle-born girlfriend the appropriate clothes for this occassion. The best place he knew to go was Twifit and Tanttings. He walked inside the shop and looked around. It had been a long while since he had bought clothes of any kind for a female. But he'd seen a picture of the young girl and knew about what to get her to make her look like the bell of the ball. Benjamin had told him about his mothers jewelry that he had given the girl for her birthday, and had to admit that emerald green looked stupendous on her. He grabbed a green dress fit for a queen. He then turned towards the dress robes for men and boys and immediately grabbed a green silk shirt, a black silk tie, a vest, and a longer black robe with green stripes going down it. It was a nice robe for Benjamin. He then went on to look for something nice to wear to the celebration for Lord Berty Borr. he found exactly what he needed, and gave the woman behind the counter fifty galleons and told her to keep the change and walked out. He sent the kids clothes to them by way of owl post. |
it's been awhile since Virgo decided to go shopping again. Her mom hasn't been going shopping for clothes with her lately. She entered the shop and she felt happy with it. She loves the smell of authentic clothes made by witches. She strolled around and grabbed a black robe. It was magnificently created. She loved it. Although she no longer needs the robe, so she put it back and went to the area where the scarves, hats and gloves were placed. She took out a silky black scarf that looked great on her. It was pretty useful for winter. Then she took black gloves that goes well with her scarf. "this would make a great pair" she smiled. She's been eying on a great wardrope for her first day of work. She's sooo excited to buy the scarf and the gloves. |
Cinnammooo Dora had taken a corner and then a left and then a right and somehow she'd ended up.. here. She bit her lower lip and clutched her purse tighter to herself in fear. Where was she?! Batting bright blue eyes at the people in the store, she carefully peeled open the door and trembled slightly. It was scary in here! |
Quote:
Seeing the scared looking girl walk in he stopped looking through clothes and walked over to her, "You alright there?" He didn't see what all the hype was about down here. Seemed if you acted like you were scared you were an easy target and he never was scared. |
Quote:
Sacrilege! The girl pouted and bit her thumb looking petrified. She jumped a little when someone spoke and turned to see a boy. A young boy. A young perfectly normal looking human being. She let out a HUGE breath of air and pulled him into a hug. "No.." She mumbled, her bottom lip jutting out. "I'm lost.. " |
Quote:
"I...um..." he cleared his throat and looked down at her. "Well I can help you. I was just down here buying some robes." He looked down at her to see her clearly upset and wrapped his own arms around her in a hug to comfort her since she didn't seem to be letting go of him. "Well where are you heading?" |
Quote:
"What's your name?" *blink* ROBES? Her big, blue eyes blinked at him. She pivoted on the spot and looked back at him. "These robes are.. nice." She nodded and tried to look sincere but, really, she didn't look convinced. Oh. She was still hugging him. She burst out in nervous giggles and mumbled a muffled apology. "Home." *pout* |
Quote:
Smiling after she let him go he laughed, "No worries. But some of these are kind of cool." He pulled out one of the black ones he'd been looking at and held it up to him. "Kind of retro in a way." "Well anyway, suppose I better lead you up to Diagon Alley." He placed the robes back on the rack and walked back over to her. "Want to get some ice cream with me?" He might as well since he was going back up there anyway. |
Quote:
"You're practically my HERO." She smiled adoringly up at him and then frowned suddenly. "..you do know how to get out of here, right?" Because he would be a pretty shoddy hero if he didn't. Kind of cool? Dora resisted the urge to pull a face. That would be mean and he'd just saved her from certain doom/fashion death. It was fair that she should at least try and respect his choice in fashion. Even if it was a horrible one. She looked at the one's he was showing and nodded. "Right. Retro's in now.. sort of. I don't think Dior had cauldron's in mind when they brought back retro." She shrugged. Her mummy had always told her to say nothing when you had nothing nice to say. Dora blinked. He supposed? She pouted at him. "You have to! I'll get lost and Mummy will get worried." She nodded and ran up to him, linking her arms around his. "Don't let go. I don't wanna get lost.. again." Wibble. She eyed him seriously, blue eyes big and innocent. "Yea. You're paying." And suddenly she was all smiles. BEAM. |
Really? A nickname? And her finger kind of hurt when she poked him. "Only if I can call you Dory," he said cheekily. "Personally I like your full first name. Sounds kind of...exotic. Wait...batman? "Without the throaty gravel voice?" he asked with a smirk as he watched her. She was kind of adorable Raising an eyebrow he shook his head, "Nope not a clue," he said teasingly. "Of course I know how to get out of here. I did walk down here." She had so much faith in his skills. He laughed at her attempt to diplomatically tell him no it wasn't cool without actually saying that. Before he could hold his arm up for her to grab she had already linked their arms and he laughed again. "I've got you. No worries," he said glancing at her and seeing the look on her face. Her eyes were so blue.... He pulled his eyes away from hers and smiled, "Of course I'm paying. I wouldn't have offered if I wasn't going to pay." Guiding her to the door he held it open and smiled. "We'll go eat some ice cream and go find your mum in that order." And he had a lovely new female friend. Well much better than the end of last term that was for sure. "What's your favourite flavour?" |

Her jaw literally dropped when he said he didn't and she was about to start crying when he spoke and she breathed out in relief. "Lawdy, Ivan, you scared the living bejesus out of me! I'm really scared and you're making a laugh." She pouted at him reproachfully. "Meaniemoo," She mumbled, pinching him in the arm lightly. When he laughed, effectively catching her out, she flushed a magenta colour and looked down at her feet. "They're not too bad," She tried. She smiled despite herself and clutched a little tighter. He was HERO!man. For the moment. These boys around Diagon Alley were adorably handsome and incredibly eager to save you from peril. Whether that be a graze or getting lost in a creepy place. She beamed. "Wonderful, Batman." She clapped her hands together and smiled. "I spent my last galleons on a pair of shoes." Whoopsies. And he was a gentleman! Dora squealed internally. These English boys were incredible. *giggle* "Fairy floss." NOM. |
Hmph. He could be creative if he wanted to. Whatever. "I was thinking of that muggle movie. Finding Nemo or whatever it is." He had to watch some earlier this summer thanks to his new baby cousins. "I think I'll call you Isadora. I like that better." Didn't sound as...childish. He laughed and shook his head, "Just the voice is hot? Not sure I can do the gravelly voice though but I can pretend." "I'm sorry," he said remorsefully. He hadn't meant to actually upset her but rather to make her laugh. He let the door close behind him and looked down the alley to make sure no one was being suspicious. What was with girls and shoes...and nicknames. Please let that one not stick. Though there were worse things he could be called he was sure. "Fairy floss?" he asked as he started walking away from the shop. "Not sure I've had that one before." ooc: needs to be moved lol |
*Matilda entered the shop because she really had to buy her first year school robes and all other first years school clothes* Matilda: I wonder where might to shopkeeper be. |
Beth entered the shop and the first thing she noticed was the sign. "Purebloods will think this shop, has nothing but the cream of the crop, but if your blood is not pure, you'll be banished from here for sure." She frowned, assuming no-one would be able to tell she was muggle born. She was fifteen, and had never been mistreated about it so far. Then again, she'd only found out she was a witch two months ago... She went over to a rack and loooked at the robes casually. |
After leaving Italy, Mister Mason Krepp had also left/gotten rid of a good deal of his posessions. Twilfit and Tattings was one of the finest establishments he would grace with his business. Pushing open the door with one gloved hand, he nearly froze when he entered. Nearly. But Mason Krepp was a hard man to catch off guard. But he did clench his teeth together at the frustration of the presence of whom the shop was currently inhabited by. Children. Children who had no business being here. Didn't their mommies tell then to stay away? Mason gave the shopkeeper a look, then continued through the shop, maintaining distace from the... short... children, although he certainly didn't plan to let them leave without getting a message across. But he wasn't about to let four children stop him; He came here for a reason. The tall man kept a sharp blue eye on the undesirables, especially... especially the one who was clearly muggle-born. When one spends one's time around fellow pure-bloods, and not with lower witches and wizards, there is a noticeable difference that's almost tangable. The tall man's lips twitched to the side as he inspected a fine suit jacket in the dim light of the shop, inconspicuously glancing to the children, just... waiting. |
Beth half turned around and noticed a tall and fairly creepy man watching her. She edged away uncomfortably from him. She was fifteen, after all! She shouldn't be scared of strangers... But he was just weird. So she decided to do what her cousin Skye would advise her to. Psyche him out by speaking to him. So she took a few steps closer and said, "Er... um, are you looking at me, erm, for a reason?" She said, doing her best to be confident. |
The former Miss Toussaint, current Mrs Kettleburn, still had an account here at Twilfit and Tattings, though she usually went for muggle styles where she could. She had decided while cleaning out her closet and working on wardrobe charms that she really had no need for pretty robes in Ravenclaw colours any more. The former Head Girl loved her old house, really, but being out in the world was a perfect excuse to wear more pink. Or gold. Everyone knew she looked good in gold. She had been visiting her parents so of course shopping was the next thing on her list anyway, stress relief and all of that, and Copernicus was working so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to her. Maybe she'd pop into Eeylops on the way home and say hello to Vannie too. She entered the shop and immediately headed over to the dress robes. She would, of course, have something made for her specifically, but it was no harm seeing what the latest styles were, or getting an idea for fabrics and colours first, was there? |
Quote:
"Are you here for a reason?," he asked quietly, his voice not threatening, but eerily smooth and calm. "It must be a very, very good reason for one such as yourself, against all advisability and warning, to boldly and without regard to consequences, venture into a place where you clearly are. Not. Wanted. Or welcome." Quote:

Oh well that lady looked like she knew where she was going... Carina followed after her, her heels clicking as she picked up her step. "Oh! I just knew you were going for the dress robes! Glad I picked you to follow!" she said with a smile as she stepped up to a rack of robes and started looking through. She needed purples... DARK purples. Mhm. |

Celandine turned slightly and offered a teeny curtsey, just enough to be polite acknowledgement, but also slight enough to show that, well, he was lucky that she curtseyed towards him at all really. She might be a Kettleburn now but she'd always be a Toussaint and that meant she'd been brought up to know her own worth. She did notice the man talking to a girl and while Celandine didn't say anything, she was aware, even as her fingertips brushed the fabrics on display in front of her. Quote:
She turned around. "You were following me?" She peeked around immediately, looking for cameras and the like. She hadn't been hounded much lately but then she hadn't been out much either, and the location of her home wasn't yet common knowledge. Usually Twilfits was pretty good at keeping out the media when it came right down to it. She hadn't ever really been bothered in Knockturn Alley, the one time she had, she had spoken to Atropos Trelawney about it and then the problem had gone away. |
Quote:
"Oh dear! No! Just when I came into the shop I was not sure where to go and I saw another woman heading through the shop so I followed hoping you would lead me to the robes... I wasn't like... stalking you or anything. Heavens no! Oh please forgive my flub!" she said excitedly. Dear! Why was she making such a fool of herself?! Open mouth. Insert foot. |

"Um." Celandine answered cautiously. "Okay." She was sure? She was SURE she wasn't like, scoping things so she could tell the paparazzi where she was? Cela's natural tendency to like people and be friendly won through and she offered up a friendly and sunshiney smile. "Its okay. Really. I'm Celandine Tous...Kettleburn." Eeep! She still caught herself out sometimes. Quote:
Cela couldn't help but overhear they young girl speak up and say she was muggleborn. Now Cel didn't mind but it wasn't the right place to be saying something like that. She was keeping an eye out now for sure. She'd step in if that man did or said anything horrible. She hoped that the girl would go to Madame Malkins instead. It was safer there by far. |
Quote:
OH! Heheh. She was talking some more. YAY! Looking up with a HUGE, radiating smile on her face, Carina said, "Pleasure to meet you, Celandine Tous Kettleburn!" What an odd name that was. Cute. But odd. Rubbing the palm of her hand on the front of her dress a bit Carina offered it to Celandine. "Carina Lillard!" she exclaimed. Yep. That's ME! |
Quote:
"Its just Celandine Kettleburn actually. I.." She laughed quietly at herself and held her hand out, showing the bling-bling engagement ring along with her wedding ring. "I'm just not used to saying so. I've been married for a year." So she should hurry UP and get used to it. Totally. |
Elizabeth walks in and is dreading being in here. She's not scared because she is a pureblood but she hates shopping. She believes her servent should be doing it but she knows she can't really trust her servent to buy good clothes. Also She hates going anywhere because people treat here diffrently because of her family. Its been 4 generations but people still treat her like she did someting wrong when she didnt. She can't help what her family has done in the past. But she puts up with it and her and her older sister Charlie go straight to the school robes. Charlie pulls out a robe and says, "Hey how about this one?" Elizabeth looks at Chalire disgusted, "You're kidding me right. It looks like a Weasley should be wearing it." |
Ara was not phased nor afraid to be in Knockturn alley, she was pureblood of course and skilled with her wand should the need arise. She casually walked into Twilfit and Tattings Upscale Robes, wanting some extra dress robes for her father's lavish parties at their manor. She loved buying dress robes, the shopping somewhat calmed her, which she needed as she recently moved to Britain with her family and transferred to Hogwarts as a sixth year to continue her studies. Ara strolled through the aisles looking for any goddess styled dress robes and spotted the section where her gaze fell upon a gorgeous hunter green with gold sequined trim. It was perfect. Her hand grazed over the material, it was a delicate and comforting silk, skimming over her skin. Best of all it was her size, yet she still needed to try it on. Ara walked to the changing room and slipped into the dress, and turned around to look in the mirror, it was the perfect fit, flowing and caressing her skin. It showed a modest amount of skin at the back but it was elegant at the same time. She smiled to herself and changed back to her flowing black circle day dress which was a silk three quarter sleeved dress with a modest plunge v neckline subtly edged in green silk and a fitted waistband and sheer silken sleeves. This was her casual always elegant. It was how she was brought up, she had no regrets. She walked through the aisle and found a similar black dress with silver and rhinestone trim to the green which she had draped over her left arm. It was a definite yes. She walked through the store and found a few more formal dress robes and day dress robes for her casual wear. Satisfied that mother and father would approve. |
Turning into Twilfit and Tattings, a soon to be first year with an air of excitement that did not match the cool aura of the store strolled in with mother and baby brother in tow. If it wasn't for the long ebony hair that cascaded down the young witch's back, she might have even been mistaken as a young boy at first glance. her blueish-grey eyes widened as though looking at the store anew, having come before with her mother, the new aspect being they were picking out the child's first school robes. "Eris!" The foreign looking mother whispered commandingly with an aristocratic air, supporting the young bored looking baby boy in one arm as her eyes narrowed on the witch's young daughter. "I'm going to pick up some of your books. Take your time, and don't leave the building, please." the woman continued with a sigh, but no less well put together. With a final look around the store, Isadora waved her long skinny fingers, adorned with a few choicest rings one could afford, at the shop keeper before she exited the room with a ding to the door's bell. Finally freed from the bonds that were family. Eris quickened her pace up and down the aisle, when she spotted rather stunning looking dress robes in all the colors and shades one could dream of, and all the designs one could hope for. Standing in front of them, giving a certain dress a much needed examination for quality, was a girl a few years older than Eris. These must be the school robes Eris thought looking at the formal robes with an examining eye, in her mind, since they were for school, the robes must need to be more than usually fancy. Reaching out a hand to pick up a sleeve, the young witch's eyebrows furred with a rather important question forming in her mind. "Excuse me...." she looked at the older girl under the assumption she was a Hogwarts student as well. "Does it matter what color the three robes we choose for school are?" she asked completely serious, as her right hand fiddled around in her pocket digging for the school list. |
This year, Brittania decided that she wanted to splurge on a set of dress robes. Brittania walked into Twilfit and Tattings. Although she was pureblood, she was still slightly scared to shop here, but she decided to stay. She picked out a set of black silk dress robes, a set of emerald green silk dress robes, and a set of iridescent purple silk dress robes. She headed to a dressing room and tried all three dress robes. The emerald green robe and and the purple iridecent robe looked beautiful against her auburn hair and ivory skin. But the black dress robe was the one she liked the most. How it fit on her hourglass frame, how it was cut at a flattering length for her 5'1" frame, and how the color looked good on everybody. She chose the black one and put the other ones back. Brittania went up to the counter, set 15 galleons on it, and left with her dress robe. |
Joch timidly entered the shop. She really had no idea what to do. She approached the area where black, formal robes are located. 'These must be the school robes', she thought. She grabbed one and tried it on. It fitted perfectly. She looked at the size, 'Man, medium again', she sighed and grabbed three. She crossed over the rack with cloaks and viewed her list. "One winter cloak (black with silver fastenings)", she read. She searched, 'winter cloak, winter cloak, winter cloak.... AHA!' Then she grabbed it and tried it on. "Perfect." She saw the side where the other things she need are located. With no hesitation, she grabbed two pairs of white knee socks and a pair of black wool stocking, two red charmable ties and a red charmable winter scarf. She's a great multitasker. While carrying the stuff she'll buy, she has the time to check out what she needs. Being a strong girl, she needs no basket. She went over to a rack and got a grey sweater and a grey cardigan. Two pairs of skirts and three white blouses. They're almost complete. Joch scanned the things she need and her list. Something seems to be lacking. She scanned the room and found the thing she lacks, a plain black pointed hat. She went over there and got one. She wore it and it fitted perfectly. She went to the counter and paid. She grabbed her extra bag, placed the things she bought and left. |
Alex walked in to the store and looked around. Knockturn alley was an interesting place. She looked around for the perfect robes. Gold with purple wands? Too childish. Pink with red roses?Too girly. Then she turned around and saw the perfect robes for her. Red silk robes and gold with glitering stars.. She pulled one of each off the rack and went to go find a matching hat. She payed 30 galleons and 15 sickles. She wanted to go home and drop off her stuff. She would be back later. |
Elizabeth strolled into the shop with a little pride but also shame. She wanted to get new dress robes but she didnt like knockturn alley or shops that are discriminating against other bloods. She only came here because she knew that it had the best robes in Britian. She was pure-blood so the warning didn't matter to her. Elizabeth glazed around the racks of robes. She picked two silk dress robes, 3 black satin cloaks, 5 work robes, 2 hats, a speciality robe, and a pair of gloves. This will cost a lot, but who cares she was rich and her finacee wouldn't have to know. She smiled to herself and chuckled. Kade would so frown on her going to this shop let alone knockturn alley. |

Then she saw another witch. Hmmm..maybe she worked here. Cleo approached her softly and asked "Excuse me, do you work here?" |

Veronica didn't rise from her seat to greet the customers looking at some of the apparel. As far as she knew, meeting and greeting wasn't in her job description, and she wasn't going to do it if she didn't have to. Reason number six million why this job was much more suited to her than the lousy one she'd had at Madam Malkin's. As she stood from a stool behind the counter and made her way toward the back, she smirked at how pleasant the two customers were being to one another. She gave them a passing glance then slid into the back area of the shop. |
Atropos made his way into the shop. He'd seen her doing the rounds and he figured he would catch her as she was looking in a shop that she would like the most. He waited silently leaning against the door jam. |

"Mr. Trelawney," she said, acknowledging his presence. She fumbled with the top of a nearby box as a distraction while she waited for him to speak. |

Atropos watched the ladies like a wolf... hungry. He was just about to approach them, when... Quote:
He touched a fabric on robes that were beside him, and he cast a muffliato charm to cover the . "I was very put out when Sully was killed." He said crushing the velvet in his hand. "I understand it was a young woman who... did it. So, while you are here, working for me, I want you to find out who this woman is... and... take care of her." He then smiled wide. "Enough about work. How are you? I heard your boyfriend is no longer in the picture..." He asked. |
Quote:
"I didn't have a choice," she truthfully spoke, and then she paced a little but still didn't turn around. "The apartment is just fine." The truth was, it was the best home she'd had in years, possibly even counting the one she'd shared with Philippe. Where she'd been staying hadn't been sufficient, but the anger boiling inside of her prevented her from saying such. She hated the fact that he'd never look at her. Though her back was turned to him, she sensed the presence of the charm he'd cast. She tilted her head slightly to the side to acknowledge that she'd heard him. "I'll see to it that it's taken care of," she replied. Then Philippe was brought up, and she felt her blood run cold at the very mention of his name. "Philippe is in France, and I won't be seeing him anytime soon." That was her answer. Whether she intended it to be mysterious or not was still a mystery even to her. "...and I'm much better now that I'm not slaving over snot-nosed children." |
"Now, Now, Veronica," He said shaking his head. "You did have a choice... you just wouldn't like the repercussions of the other choice." He shrugged. "Children are not allowed here, so feel free to hex any that come in. And you are better off without him." |
Quote:
He'd become her security, but that was yet another fact she'd keep to herself. She nodded once, even though they were talking about two completely different things. "If I...need your assistance for any reason," she said, her tone indicating slight hesitation, "how would I reach you? Are you always here?" A small part of her--a very, very small part--still sought out the safety his presence brought to her life. She couldn't help the smile that decorated her face when he mentioned that she should hex the children. "Then I can't wait for them to arrive," she said, "especially the lot from the robes shop." |
Quote:

Quote:
"No need to worry yourself," she finally said. "I'm confident I'll be just fine." With her back still turned, she raised her eyebrows at the mention of her sister. "Hmm. My sister." Though she made no comment as to whether or not she knew the man. His next words caused her to draw in yet another sharp breath. "You're so sure I want to play in your den," she pointed out, "but men are worthless pigs. I have no interest in involving myself with any of them anytime soon." This, of course, translated to 'I've been burned by one, and I'm still feeling wounded'. |
Quote:
"Who said I was sure?" He said and shrugged. "I'm just putting it out there. But I am sure you don't mean ALL men are worthless pigs... that would include myself, and I know you wouldn't say I'm worthless..." |
Quote:
No. She shouldn't bring it up. She knew men of this kind, and they didn't care. She'd only be setting herself up for a letdown. In a way, though, a letdown would only make her tougher and stronger, two qualities she sought to gain back since her split from Philippe. "...you won't look at me," she finally said. |
"Don't be ridiculous" He said and waved a hand to dismiss the thought. He walked out of the store, into the Alley, fully expecting the woman to follow him. |
Quote:
She sighed softly then turned and followed him out the shop, her eyes on the floor the entire way. |
Caeria walked into the shop with her servant Ilie. Daddy didn't trust her in Knockturn Alley alone but insisted she do as much of her shopping there as possible as he was friendly with many of the owners of the shops there. She glanced around noticed there were racks of black work and school robes. She was unsure what to buy, so she settled on getting seven of each kind. She also decided to buy two cloaks, two hats, two scarves, two pairs of gloves, and fourteen pairs of socks. The total was 213 Galleons, which to anyone else would be way too much. However, Daddy had left a gratuitous amount of money with Ilie and instructed her to purchase only the finest things. So she collected all the money from Ilie and placed it on the counter, dumping all her robes into her frumpy servant's arms. |
OOC: In Knockturn Alley, we don't acually have shopkeepers who roleplay selling characters the items they buy. So next time (as students are in school now and are meant to be out of Diagon/Knockturn Alley), feel free to just roleplay that your character purchased the items. ;) Spotting several visitors to the establishment, Veronica stepped partly out of her hiding place, leaned against a side wall, and eyed them suspiciously. Who brings a child into Knockturn Alley to purchase school clothing? She smirked at the very thought. Mr. Trelawney would have a field day with this one. Speaking of Mr. Trelawney, it'd been a bit since she'd seen him. She looked around again, keeping a careful eye out for whatever new surprises the alley could bring, and then disappeared back into the darkness. |
Nadea walked in with her head low to the ground, she didn't want to be here with him... |

It had been a long while since Lilly had been into Twilfit and Tattings. The last time had been to get a robe to wear to one of her parents' parties when she'd been pregnant with Emeilia. She smiled to herself as she thought about how much hassle that had caused them all; she remembered how they'd tried to get her to have the most unflattering ones, the ones that looked like her bump was just fat rather than an actual baby. That had annoyed Lilly beyond belief. She pushed open the door and held it for her daughter to follow in behind her. "Let's go have a look at the school robes then, love" she said as she pointed at a nearby sign. |
Emeilia smiled up at her mother "Ok mommy how do I know if I get Gryffindor or Slytherin ties?" She asked softly. She didn't want to disappoint either of her parents. Her father was a Gryffindor, her mother a Slytherin. "Grandpa Dursley says I'm not in the family anymore if I don't make Slytherin." She shivered a little. She walked next to her mother staying close to her. |

"We get you one tie, it's like a general one And then, well, they charm it when you get your house" she said softly. "So you don't need to worry about that yet, sweetie. And don't listen to your Grandpa..." she said before turning and leaning down to her daughter's level. "I will be proud of you, Daddy will be proud of you whichever house that you get into" she smiled reassuringly at her beautiful daughter. "In fact, I'm so proud of you already and you haven't even gone yet, I know you're going to do so well there" she said softly. They hadn't told Em about the pregnancy yet, she was wondering when to do so. When the right time would be for that, she wanted to do it before Em went off to school and all. |

Her heart melted as she watched her little girl emerge in her uniform, she squealed proudly and stood up. "You look so beautiful! Like a proper Hogwarts pupil" she said before rushing over and embracing her little girl again. "I am so proud of you!" she said slowly before pressing a kiss to her forehead. |

She remembered doing it for herself when she had been Em's age and had been shopping with her own Mum, it didn't seem all that long ago which was crazy. |

Josey had let her daughter wonder off in the main street, in Diagon, before venturing forth into Twilfits in Knockturn Alley. She didn't much fancy taking her children here, plus Elliot would throw a fit if she had to try on any robes. However, there was nothing to be done with the baby, Darius, whom she had slung on her back in a baby backpack. Her house elf followed closely behind her...the elf didn't much like the street either. The woman sighed. So many CLOTHES. She couldn't help but glanced around at all of the...exquisiteness. Having been married for a great many years now to Darius, she still wasn't used to all of the money it allowed her to spend. But she liked it. A lot. The baby was asleep, so she decided she might as well try on a few things...the get the girls' school robes. ONe set of Hogwarts...one set of Beauxbatons. Merlin, why Dani ever chose the French school, she wouldn't know. But Dani had always been different than Elliot. She flitted through a few of the robes, picking out at least a dozen, each of them a different color...mostly silks and velvets. Yes, Josey quite liked the high life, she couldn't lie to herself. She handed the robes to the elf, who bowed his head a little and she smiled at him. She liked having him around... She did glance around, though, every few seconds. She didn't like this part of town...and hopefully being Darius Morganzo's wife would provide protection if any trouble came brewing. Darius had said that he often did business here. Hmph. She shrugged it off, but still always felt uneasy coming here. Specially with her baby... |
Carlton Picard, a young reporter of the Daily Prophet, stepped into the shop. She had heard that a witch owned this shop. Maybe she would see this witch for herwelf. |
After finding her daughter in Leaky Cauldron and giving her a stern lecture Bailey took her daughter, Melody to Twilfit and Tattings in Knockturn Alley. She would be damn if Melody didn't Melody didn't get the best robes and clothing she could possibly buy her. And even though Bailey was very well known customer she still kept Melody close to her while looking at school robes with Melody. She knew what kind of weirdos hung around Knockturn Alley. |
Chloe happened to stumble upon this place when she was younger when she made one wrong turn on her way to the book shop in diagon alley. It was a very wonderful mistake though. She stumbled upon a robe shop that blew Madam Malkins out of the water. The robes here were the most beautiful she had ever seen but they were expensive. She only got one that day but with her brand new job at Gringotts Chloe was ready to shop. She looked around and found a brilliant royal purplr robe and a lovely light blue on, and then she spotted a regal dark green one, she grabbed all of them and knew that was it. She could not afford more then three at the moment. She tried them on and they all fit. She could not wait to wear these new robes to work. She walked up to front counter and waited in line to pay. Soon it was her turn and Chloe paid for the aweesome robes and then happily went on her way with them. |

Noticing that all the people who walked by seemed to be wearing dark robes, Kyroh locked eyes with a man who seemed to have one eye smaller than the other! Right-Gloria. "I haven't been down here before. Why can't we go to the robe shop in the bright part of Diagon Alley?" Was the man still looking at him? It sort of felt like it. Kyroh could feel the hairs on his arm stand up. It was a good thing that they entered the robe shop before he could look back at him. Even in side the shop was a little dark! |

"Don't you like exploring new places, Kyroh?" Gloria kept her tone light, though she was grinding her teeth on the inside. "Besides, this place has different fashions than that store." That teenager breeding ground known as Madame Malkin's. Pfft. As IF Gloria would shop there. "I just need a cloak. I'll be one minute." She smiled at the boy and nodded toward a tall, dark cherry chair he could sit in by the window, before disappearing into the back of the store. |

Kyroh was about to follow him mum where ever she was heading but she let go of his hand quickly. Glo didn't like to hold hands too long. Not really getting what the nod meant at all, Kyroh just nodded back. Okay. Once Gloria had vanished from his view Kyroh walked over to a set of long green robes and stared at it for a few seconds. Huh. Reaching out he touched the robe which just seemed to glide through his hands. And get rid of the dust too! "You must be different fashions." Kyroh whispered. But he wasn't actually talking to the robe. Robes couldn't talk back. He did wish he had his dragons to talk to, Flamel would have liked the green robes. But Kyroh didn't really liked the colour of the robe, so he continued to stare at it, and touch it. |

She didn't say this, though, any of it, and instead moved on to the back where she could browse in peace. She found the cloak and color she desired quickly enough and returned to the front of the store, where the register was. Kyroh was still there too, though he was... "Just this," the brunette placed the cloak on the counter to check out. |
Veronica entered the stor, not even bothering to remove the cloak she'd placed over her head and slightly over her face. She moved throughout the area, looking not for an item but for a person. She'd been looking for an ingredient to a potion she'd been brewing and was meant to meet someone to pick it up. They should be here. Hmm. Her brown eyes flashed from one side of the store to the other, where she saw a woman with her young...son? She smirked at the site. Atropos would have a field day if he knew a child was in their midsts. However, it was the woman Veronica was most interested in. She fit the description of the woman she was meant to meet. Noting this, she moved quickly and came to a stop next to a rack of items. She browsed them while she assessed the situation. It was never good to assume too much too soon. Her gaze turned to the little boy and she grinned at him. |

Or maybe if the colour could change? Turning his head as a cool breeze swept through the store, Kyroh's attention quickly left the robe. It was just a lady, but she didn't look too scary so Kyroh didn't move or try to find his mother or anything. As the lady smiled at him Kyroh smiled back. "Hullo!!! Good morning!" The eight year old grinned. "Have you come here to get some expensive clothes? I don't know how much this robe is but it feels cool. The colour isn't that good though." So she should get another colour. |
