If you are in need of a place to hold a meeting or a conference, look no further than The Leaky Cauldron. This Private Parlour has been used in the past for meetings with the Minister of Magic. Ministry members may book this room for meetings or conferences.
Inside, the room is made of dark wood. Several small tables run down the length of the room and many cozy, rolling chairs line it. If fewer people are attending, the table can be shortened for a more personal meeting. The room is eloquent, with tapestries hanging on the wall and portraits of famous wizards and witches line the wall, willing to give their advice if you want it (or if you don't). In each corner sits a suit of armor, regal and rigid.
Unless you have reserved this room, though, you are not permitted to enter. Please direct all inquiries about the use of this room to Lucy.

Please....don't throw yourself at Mr. Snuffles...was all he could think, Norah might be small, but she was strong....and he didn't think Mr. Snuffles would appreciate being knocked over.

It made Mr. Snuffles very happy to see all the kid and adult peoples spending time together and being happy.
There seemed to be lots hanging around by the entrance area and even more looking at him! He waaaaaaaved at them all.

It wasn't exactly the greeting that he'd expect from his former housemate but it was nice to see her in what appeared to be a good mood And he gave a little wave to her step-son sitting nearby. As for them having a seat, he glanced at Minerva for her answer. It didn't really matter to him, but he was letting Gunnar lead the day for the most part.
Holding Daddy's hand, Gunnar walked into the room, blue eyes wide as he took everything in. This was kind of like the park at home.. but different and he didn't realize they had gone outside, but there they were. He heard Mommy and Daddy talking, but he was too enchanted by the sights around him that he didn't pay much attention to them. There was a big teddy bear!
Gunnar stared at him for a moment, then pointed at him. "Teddy?" The two year old tugged his Daddy's hand as he started towards the big bear, soon jumping a bit and snapping his head towards the sudden and very LOUD voice nearby. Big blue eyes latched on to the lady lunging at his Mommy and he inched a little closer to his Daddy, unsure of what was going on.

"I think we can take our shoes off." She had noticed that others had done it and the grass just looked so tempting. Slipping off her own shoes she was about to ask Gunnar when she heard a very happy person and looked up just in time to hug Elliot. She had been getting closer and closer with the former Ravenclaw, but her niceness to Min was something she was still getting use to, though she was grateful for it.
"Elliot" She smiled and looked around spotting Hudson at the table, "Hey little man." She wiggled her fingers at him before looking back up at Elliot. "How are you feeling?" She couldn't remember how far along she was, but knew it was still pretty early. She at least looked like she was feeling fine, Min knew if it was her she wouldn't be able to be here without a potion. Her two babies certainly did a number early on.
Seeing Gunnar pulling she smiled and bent down. "You want to go see the Teddy Bear buddy? Why don't we take off your shoes and then you can run over and see him." Knowing he was a little uneasy clinging to Ethan's leg she smiled up at her husband. "Want to sit down and eat or should we see the teddy bear first?" Glancing back at Elliot she was going to wait to see what Ethan said, "I think Gunnar might want to see the teddy bear." But her and Hudson were welcome to come too.

Babies, in general. The former Ravenclaw gave each of the adults a nod after she approached the table. "Do you mind?" She asked, gesturing to the table they were apparently sitting at. She was just being polite; of course she knew Elliot would allow her to sit with them.

She was just so HAPPY lately and she was kind of weirded out by it, but that was okay. She'd rather be a glowing pregnant woman rather than a grumpy one. "I feel fine." She patted her tummy and grinned. "I get sick a lot more now...and I craaaave sweets SO badly--" she said. Weird. She haaaaated sweets usually...but right now--gah--
Hudson was clinging to her leg, staring very WIDELY at the other boy--Gunnar--and Elliot smiled as she knelt down in front of the boys. "Hi Gunnar--you've met Hudson--Huds, remember Gunnar?" she asked, waving with her fingers at little McCarthy. He was TOO precious! Hudson smiled shyly and waved at Gunnar, but stayed very close to Elliot. He glanced up at Minerva and waved. "I Hudson--" he said softly, smiling. Elliot had to pat his little head.
Gaaaahh! She adored him.
The ENORMOUS teddy bear appeared--and Elliot whipped around---ACCKKK. Her eyes WIDENED, and she quickly hid behind Min--"What the--" That thing. Was terrifying. She sighed a little..."Hu-Huds? Wanna' eat before the b--" but Hudson was tugging at her hand to go SEEEE The bear--he REALLY wanted to see it. "ELL-YET--BEAR BEAR!" he was saying over and over again--Elliot didn't know what to DO. Merlin.
"Sure. We can go see that MONSTER." She hissed at the clearly more mature adults: Ethan and Minerva.

Elliot smiled nervously at her old friend--"Rachel-Hi--Matthew! Hello, again!" she said to the boy and waved pleasantly--her eyes flickering to that BEAR every three seconds--"And this--" she ruffled Hudson's hair--"Is Huds. My step-son." Ugh. Elliot was NOT an ugly step-mother. "My son." she corrected herself.
Hudson blinked up at the woman and the older boy and just smiled broadly at them. "Hi--Hi--I Hudson--" he said and he clung to Elliot, still, but did give them a wave. He was such a great kid--at least Elliot thought so!

Blake smiled down at Rhi and scooped her up into his arms, glancing over at Autumn to make sure it was alright with her. Clearly this former Gryffindor didn't wear the pants in this relationship. But badgers sure can get testy when they're put to it. So checking was always good.

After saying a not-so-quick hello to his girlfriend in her shop, Jared carried his daughter to where the picnic was taking place. They were late, but he didn't really care. It was going to be a fun day and that meant he didn't have to bother about being on time. It was a shame Maria couldn't come with them, but her keeping her business going was important.
The former Ravenclaw entered the place and looked around. He had never been in a children event before and that would've felt really off back in the day, but now that he had his own baby, he was looking at the younglings in a much better way. They could be nice, after all.
Well, at least his daughter was lovely.
Her eyes darted in every direction as soon as they entered the parlor. She kicked her little feet and flailed her arms a little when she noticed they were outside! And it was warm! She looked at all the trees and plants but that biiiggg bear call her attention the most and she staaaaaaaaaaaaaaared at it with wide eyes. Not sure if she wanted to get closer or not, the tiny little 11 month-old girl simply kept looking at it with her mouth ajar.
"Do you want to go say hello to the bear, Nerissa?" Jared asked her, looking from her to the bear. If that was the type of thing he would have to get used to for having a kid, then he'd better get to it.

Emma giggled as her daddy picked her up, and she wrapped her arms around his neck, placing a sloppy kiss onto his cheek. "No grumpy" He had to be happy. She wanted him to be happy, so that they could have a good day. If he wasn't going to be happy she may as well have brought mommy with his. At least she knew that Mommy would have been happy. Momma was never grumpy like Daddy was.
"Uh..." Emma was a little confused. They'd just gone inside, but it looked like it was outside still. That was far too much for her little three year old mind to understand but she saw lots of bear too. So that made her happy too. "Beaaars" She beamed, bouncing in her father's arms. She was really excited. She loved bears. And she loved her Daddy. So Today was gonna be fun. "Ooh..." She giggled, glancing at the big big big bear. "Big bears...." She murmured, watching the talking walking bear.
"Ummm...." The little Ferguson looked around, before pointing at the weird machine with fluffy stuff in. "We make a bear Daddy?"

Silas was quite sure about this thing at first. When he'd heard about the event, his first thought was that Kieran would love it and have a good time. And it was a good thing especially after all the changes where the mother stopped being in the picture and all. So anything else didn't really matter. And here they were. Stepping inside into the colorful and crowded place. It was a nice and fun atmosphere. The place was really colorful, too, which immediately caused the five-year old to start tugging at his father's hand to walk faster. Which was why Silas decided to drop his kid's hand. "Kieran, don't go far," He sad as the boy leaped forwards immediately.
"I won't daddy!" Kieran called back over his shoulder. "LOOK THERE'S A HUGE BEAR!"
The father nodded not really seeing anything at first but then his eyes settled on the bear. He smiled knowing how much effort has been put into this to make the kids happy. He slid his hands into his pockets and started scanning the crowd trying to see if he could see anyone familiar. So far he saw no one familiar, but he saw someone with a kid. Another man. Silas was quite worrying he would be the only man or something. Which now sounded stupid, why would he be? Anyway, the other man was with a little child. Silas nodded at him [Jared] and smiled at the tiny girl. He was quite happy that his kid could walk and run and talk. The younger the harder to deal with. Especially him being a single parent now.
Kieran was way too excited. He didn't know if he should go JUMP on the big bear that looks squishy and nice or run around in circles and see who would want to race him! There seemed to be many other kids close to his age which was a good sign.

Becca's arms went around Emma a little more now. "It's okay sweetie. See? Norah's okay." And screeching. Resisting the urge to roll her eyes, she gave a placating smile to Norah and nodded. "The bear won't hurt you, I promise." she leant down to Emma a little more.

Glancing back at Elliot she was going to wait to see what Ethan said, "I think Gunnar might want to see the teddy bear." But her and Hudson were welcome to come too.

"Sure. We can go see that MONSTER." She hissed at the clearly more mature adults: Ethan and Minerva.

Elliot smiled nervously at her old friend--"Rachel-Hi--Matthew! Hello, again!" she said to the boy and waved pleasantly--her eyes flickering to that BEAR every three seconds--"And this--" she ruffled Hudson's hair--"Is Huds. My step-son." Ugh. Elliot was NOT an ugly step-mother. "My son." she corrected herself.
Hudson blinked up at the woman and the older boy and just smiled broadly at them. "Hi--Hi--I Hudson--" he said and he clung to Elliot, still, but did give them a wave. He was such a great kid--at least Elliot thought so![/COLOR]
Gunnar peered out from behind his Daddy's leg as people talked to Mommy and Daddy, then his blue eyes snapped to Mommy as she bent down. Yes, he did want to see the bear and he looked over at him at the mention. He was giving hugs to lots of other kids and Gunnar wanted to give him a hug too. He looked so squishy and fluffy! And he was giving waves. Still looking at the big bear, Gunnar waved from his spot at Daddy's leg.
And then he heard his name. Gunnar looked back to see that lady crouched in front of him. He stared at her a minute then looked over at the little boy who was waving too. The two year old gave him a little up and down wave, watching him carefully for a moment before looking at Mommy again. His shoes? He looked down, blue eyes soon wandering to her feet where he saw she wasn't wearing any. "Shoes, mama.." he said, pointing to her feet before letting out some baby giggles. Why didn't she have shoes on? That was funny.
The mood lightened a bit, he looked at the bear again, watching him with all the kids. He watched, mesmerized, for a moment, until he squealed with laughter and took off towards him.
Ethan couldn't help but smile as Elliot greeted the three of them, though he'd have to admit that her whole demeanor was so different than what he had been used to from her. Not a bad or good different, just was. He wasn't sure whether to attribute that to maturity, marriage, or.. right, Min did say she was expecting. "Thanks.. you look very nice as well." It was true what they said, pregnant women did have a glow about them. He did love that glow about Min was she was expecting too.
He listened to the women talk a minute, nodding distractedly as it was more of a conversation between the two of them with pregnancy symptoms and all. "Good you're not feeling too bad today," he mentioned before giving the other little boy a smile. He sure was a good talker already. Wait.. was Elliot afraid of the bear? Ethan gave her a curious look.. then noticed someone else approach their little group.
"Hello.." he smiled at the vaguely familiar woman, they met her at Elliot's wedding briefly, didn't they? What was her name.. he wasn't always so good with those. And then Eliot said it.. Rachel, right. He looked down, chuckling a bit as Gunnar laughed and he was about to answer Min with what he thought they should do next when their son took off. "I guess we're seeing the teddy bear," he said chuckling as he watched Gunnar head towards him. "Do you guys want to come with?" he asked Elliot and her friend, not wanting to be rude since she had invited them to sit. "Strength in numbers and all," he joked, knowing she had been apprehensive and all of them there might be helpful." Or he and Min and Gunnar could just join them later after they saw the bear. "Let's go see that bear," he grinned at his wife before going to catch up with Gunnar.

Still quite wary of the bear, Xavvie tried to keep her eyes on him and look at her father at the same time, which wasn't easy for the five year old to do so she ended up moving her head back and forth a lot. Finally, her father spoke again and it seemed to ease a bit of the worry on the little girl's face. If daddy approved then Xavvie approved, too.
Somewhat timidly, she tugged on her daddy's hand and took a step closer. She wanted to go over there and see the big bear. Maybe he gave good hugs.

Marco was usually at work when Flynn was around, so he didn't really ever see them interact.
Speaking of Flynn, he was taking charge now, so Nova reached for Marco's hand to tug him along with them as she followed the little boy and her little sister over to the bear making place. "What kind of bear do you want to make?" Maybe Cossy should have come with her to see this or even Charely, but she knew both were busy and she was there with her sweet girls for some girl time. Moving closer to the bear Victoria stopped and took a few pictures of the girls hugging Mr. Snuggles. “Did you say Hi to the bear?” She watched their excitement, “Are you ready to get something to eat? I think Mr. Snuggles has other friends to hug.” She wasn’t sure if she was going to be able to get her girls away from the huge teddy bear or not.
Alana was hugging the bears leg and giggling. He was so soft and squishy. Were bears always this big and squishy? Her teddy wasn’t that big, but it was squishy. Elliot was very happy and Minerva just thought it was great, “We do? Well thank you.” She chuckled looking at Ethan. Her husband always looked dashing so she wouldn’t argue there. “I struggled with sickness with both of mine.” It was awful and she couldn’t wait to get out of the first trimester because of it. “Potions help though” She was very grateful for that potion. Looking down at Hudson she smiled, “I know you are. We’ve met a few times.” chuckling to his little words. As he saw the bear with Gunnar she figured they’d be going that way.
Oh but someone else was joining them she gave the woman a smile, “Hello, it’s nice to see you again.” She remembered her from the wedding, but that was about all she remembered. Looking at her child, Min couldn’t help but think how strange it was that all her friends were getting married and having kids. It was a good weird, because well she wasn’t alone with it anymore. She was feeling more comfortable in her own setting.
Laughing as Gunnar pointed to her feet she tried to start taking his shoes off. “Yes mommy has no shoes, let’s do the same for you. The grass feels nice on your feet.” He was so cute, she just loved spending time with her son. This was a good day, missing Chloe she knew she was better off at her nana’s. Standing up she laughed watching her son, “Yes I think we are.” She took Ethan’s hand. “That’s fine, whatever he wants to do today is fine with me. It’s his day.” Gunnar time was needed, she felt they hadn’t done this since Chloe had come. He was due for some special time. She looked back at the small group when Ethan asked. “Yes you could come with us Hudson.” Looking at the little boy to help Elliot out. She didn’t need to have a baby this early over a giant teddy bear. “Gunnar wait for mommy and daddy.” Moving towards the bear still holding Ethan’s hand she grinned watching her son.
Chloe tagged along gamely when Callum started to hear toward the big teddy bear, even if her attention was sort of riveted on that crazy looking machine with the bears and the stuffing and and and... people got their very own teddy bears out of there! There wasn't a lack of stuffed animals in her life or anything, but Chloe was still absolutely sure that she needed one of those bears. She wanted one! She needed one!
"I'ant goody bag," she pulled her fingers out of her mouth and swiveled around to look at the big bear. What was a goody bag, anyway? If Callum wanted one, she wanted one, and maybe they could take one home to Charlotte, who was out with Mommy today. Not in a tutu, though, so it wasn't as good.
"I'ant a beaaaaaar." There was a little bit of whine in it, but only a very little.
"Want," Cope offered absently. "I want a bear."
"I'ant a bear TOO," Chloe insisted. If Daddy was getting a bear, she definitely wanted one.
"Bears for everyone after lunch," Cope clapped his hands and gave Callum a sideways look. Was he too old for bears, or was that okay? Charlotte wasn't too old, but she wasn't a boy. Cope had been off stuffed toys... well. He'd never really been on them, but his was a different childhood.
"Cal, it looks like Chlo wants a goody bag too. I'll wait here and get us some food, okay?" That meant Callum was in charge of his sister. For all of 10 feet, but still... it was a big deal.
A gleeful smile spread across Callum's face when Chloe confirmed that she wanted a goody bag, too, and he squeezed his sister's hand. "We'll get them," he nodded, once again looking to his dad to confirm that they COULD get both a goody bag AND a bear, and he did - after correcting Chloe's slurring of words together, which made the eight-year-old smile. Chloe hadn't understood what their father meant, but he did after a few moments, and Callum grinned up at his dad like they were sharing some sort of secret.

Squeezing Chloe's hand again (out of love, to let her know he was there, AND to make sure she wasn't going to get away from him), Callum peeked around at all the people and their surroundings and navigated them over toward the big bear, stopping them occasionally when kids went running by or tall people almost stepped on them. But they made it in one piece, Callum smiling away and looking between Chloe and Mr. Snuffles. He even took a moment to glance back and give their dad a little wave to make sure he knew they were okay. Then when it was THEIR turn, Callum greeted the oversized stuffed animal, "Hi. We would like two goody bags, please." He was okay without the hugs, but Chlo could hug him if she wanted to.
No Wade? No big brother to hold onto and play helicopter with like Daddy? Elisa was not happy to hear that along with the no big brother Bart or Luc or Indy or CoCo or her other favorite big people. She pouted at that before nodding and sitting down to wiggle her feetsies. Her shoes were ready to be taken off and get her food.. Except one thing.
Big.... Bear.....
Her eyes widen at that. She wanted it. Now.
"Siiiiiiiisss!" Don't leave your little sister behind. She ran off after to hug the other side of the bear's leg. "Beaaaa," Happy giggles now as twin hugs were happening.

Looking at Elisa as she came running Alana clapped her hands. “Beaaa, ook isa” Giving the bear another hug. Mummy was talking again and Alana lifted her brown eyes. Food, why would they want food when there was a real live bear that she could hug. Nope she wasn’t going anywhere. “beaaaaaa momma beaaaaa” Her little finger pointed up.
Another little friend came over too! And gave him a hug! Such good friends they were.
"Hello!" Mr. Snuffles greeted her happily, wrapping his paw around her too. And pictures! He liked those too.
It sounded like the lady person that was taking the pictures wanted his new friends to go get food. Mr. Snuffles would love to keep his new friends here, but he also knew there were lots of things to do here! Lots of fun things!
"You can always come back to me if you want to do something else!" he suggested to them. "I would like to hear about the fun you're having!" That was a part of friendship too!

Mr. Snuffles waved back at him. He hoped the little boy would come over too.

"Let's make a bear," he agreed, careful not to drop her even with all her bouncing. Wes caaaaaarefully wedged his way around all the other families there, many of whom were hugging the giant bear he was watching to make sure that was safe, and over to the bear-filling machine. He set Emma down and crouched by her and the machine.
"So first I think you want to pick out a color of bear," he pointed at the chioces, "and then some buttons for an eye and nose... and er, I guess your bear can wear clothes..." There were a lot of options there, so he didn't mind if Emma went wild. "Have fun, sweetie." He gave her a little pat and stood up to watch/help.

He smiled at Mr Snuffles and gave him a little wave too, squatting down as Norah offered the bear her tiara he smiled as he placed it on his head. He knew that Becca almost always had a spare tiara in the bag in case Norah ever changed her mind or lost her tiara somehow. Princess Mr. Snuffles... Interesting combination, but he guessed it worked!
Emma wasn't too sure about that. Norah was being loud again, and her eyes blinked watching her sister and daddy as she leaned back against mummy.

Kurumi couldn't imagine adding more to their family just yet, and they did want more children, but she also wanted to selfishly take in all of James' firsts with just them and get some more time working at the hatchery in before doing all that. She still blushed like crazy introducing him as her husband, yet there was such an ease at introducing him as a father. Huh.
And then more people joined them...people she felt safe making some assumptions about. She sort of recognized the fellow from keeping stats at all of Selina's matches. But, in all honesty, she didn't pay too much attention to anyone else but Selina during quidditch.

Silas was quite worrying he would be the only man or something. Which now sounded stupid, why would he be? Anyway, the other man was with a little child. Silas nodded at him [Jared] and smiled at the tiny girl. He was quite happy that his kid could walk and run and talk. The younger the harder to deal with. Especially him being a single parent now.
Kieran was way too excited. He didn't know if he should go JUMP on the big bear that looks squishy and nice or run around in circles and see who would want to race him! There seemed to be many other kids close to his age which was a good sign.
Oh hey, Silas was here too. Had Ryoma known that the bloke had a kid? Probably should have paid more attention to the sign-up sheet. Oh well.
He threw a firm wave towards his fellow shopkeep and, er, family.

Autumn slipped her hand to grasp her husbands as she smiled at Rhi. "She just had the sniffles. But she'll be alright," she said, smiling as Rhi was picked up and brought to eye level. She stroked her daughter's hair fondly, still holding her husband's hand, then turned her attention to Raven.
"Ravieeee," she crooned, letting go of Blake to squat down to pick Raven up, but then Raven was off like a firecracker, leaving Autumn squatting like a frog. She stood up quickly, hoping no one saw her reddened cheeks, then watched the big bear.

"Xavvie." He leaned down to whisper at her. "Once you say hi to the bear, want to play Hit Wizards?" Because hey, what was the point of having a kid if you couldn't use it to sketch an old buddy out eh? He moved so that the giant bear kept himself blocked from Wes's view.
Ahh, free entertainment.
And besides, Wes being there meant he didn't quite need to worry so much. At least someone in this place would have his back if things went to custard.

Wes beamed back at his daughter and watched her get to work pressing the buttons. Of course she went for pink, he observed with a chuckle. Clothes? "Okay, well, your mum usually does the dressing..... so is it a girl bear or a boy bear? Pants or no pants?" Bears didn't technically need pants, so did it matter?
Speaking of bears, the old Hit Wizard stole a glance at the giant bear's legs. No pants, see. He was right. He still had an odd sort-of almost goosebumpy feeling about that bear though... or was it the crowd around it?

Okay, Xavvie was definitely going to check out the bear, but she was definitely not planning on letting go of her daddy while she did so. This bear was giving hugs, Xavvie liked hugs a lot. Shyly, she scooted over to see the bear and looked alllllll the way up to see his head, "Hi Mr. Bear." Was daddy gonna say hi to the bear too?
Oh wait, daddy was talking to her. She stayed really close to him and clung to his arm, "Okay!" She LOVED to play games!
