Alicia burst out laughing. "You can be funny, you know that, Rave!" She continued laughing. She was glad to have him as her friend, the first person she met as she began her journey in this wizarding world. "So you're a half blood then? half mudblood..?!" She pretended to be serious, although she actually said it mischievously. "Don't take that personally, really." She grinned and continued, "I am worse, I'm a pureblood, but I feel like a mudblood, really. I know nothing about all of this. I thought it didn't exist, you know." She whispered. "Ok, enough for lame joke." She took a deep breath in, trying to stop giggling and talking as she didn't want Simon to feel left out.

"Hello there, Simon. Nice to see you here. You are a first year, aren't you?" She asked and smiled to him as they were walking passing through the wall.

So this was the Grand Leaky Cauldron?? The one that everyone was always talking about. The one that was soooo nice....

Looking around Mark took his gloves off and smoothed out his hair as he looked around the little... dingy... place. This was definetly not his regular hang out area. He was used to being a little more ....cleaner. But then again he was raised in Drumstrang. They knew how to show some people a good time... a good time with cleanliness. Lets see what this place could do...

Heading from the doorway, he looked around. The thirteen year old was used to going out being on his own. His parents were too stuck up in thier money to really go out and make sure thier son knew where he was going and what he was doing. The gallant fools.

So Mark was on his own. Doing his own shopping. Sure he could have ordered someone to get his stuff. But what was the fun with that?? And how would he see the town and know where he would be making his mark? This would do.

Sheridan stepped through the entry way, her new wand in hand, she placed it back in it's PURPLE!!! holder, her shopping bags swinging off her arm, heels clacking in a rhytm, before..OUCH! Oh Em Gee! I'm so sorry she said when she bumped into a younger boy, her heels THWACKing off the wall bit of the entrance, seriously major sorries the heel cladded blonde said, hopping slightly from the pain in her toe. It seriously hurt O_o

Simon walked along with his newly acquainted mates. "Not quite." he said trying to think of non-confusing way to explain it. "I mean it's my first year at Hogwarts but I'll be in my second year." sure that was clear enough...right? "How about you guys?" he asked both Ali and Raven.

"Ah I see. That's so cool. Did you transfer from another wizarding school or something?" Her eyes widened, showed a curiosity. "Well, I'm sort of new." She said tentatively. My parents had never told me a single thing about magic until I got a letter from Hogwarts! You can imagine that." There was a pause. "And yeah, I'm a first year - obviously." she explained.

"Yeah. I attended the AEWW school in America." he explained, with a smile.

Simon's eyes widened. No magic all these years. Wow. "Really? They didn't show any magic either? Well...um...are they muggles?" he asked a bit wary, not wanting to offend her or anyone for that matter. Plus, if her parents were muggles that might explain why they didn't tell her about magic.

Sammy almost didn't notice the guy who nearly bumped into her and she walked away. She sat down at an empty seat and sighed. How was she going to survive this year, She had to figure out how to first be nice to people and to talk to them. She then stood up and walked to the entrace of getting to Diagon Alley, she had to now go and by her school supplies.

Raven is just listening to the conversation of two, his eyes is brilliantly open to those he see, suddenly he want a momentary rest, when his eyes focus on florean-fortescues-ice-cream, say "we can rest a bit there"

Boing... Something flew into him as he stood there looking for a place to Sit down. Looking around, mark saw a girl looking as if she wasabout to fall off her heels. He cocked an eyebrow at her and looked at her bags. So those were the things that had flew into him.

"Just dont let it happen again." he said absentmindedly, brushing off his shoulder. That bag had ruffled his clothes. He looked back at her. And then around the room once more. Now where was he going to sit?

Simon looked over at what Raven was looking at. Hm, ice cream...sounded really good about now. "That's an awesome idea." Simon agreed with Rave's suggestion. So far he's been eating too many sweets, but more couldn't hurt...right?

Kurumi looked up from the book she was reading about the various uses of dragon's blood in potion making when she saw a boy around her age looking as though he were looking at a pile of garbage. What had his wand in a knot?

Flipping the page, Kurumi took one final sip of her butterbeer before handing the glass back to the counter. She then picked up her school bag and took out the list of books and new school supplies she needed. One could never have too many quills. She still felt ridiculous wearing the outfit that her mother had insisted that she wear - Kurumi never did feel comfortable in skits and ribbons.

She made her way past the boy and tried her best not to brush up against him as she did. Still, her violet eyes caught his and that was probably the end of that.

Wait...hadn't they met before?

Alicia nodded. "sounds like a brilliant idea." she cheerfully exclaimed. "I mean, it's ice cream! no one would completely reject ice cream" she laughed.

she then continued talking to Simon while they were all walking to the ice cream counter. "No no.." She shook her head. "Apparently they're not muggles." She looked down in a few seconds and looked up again, "It's just that.. they've been living like muggles since I was born. No idea why though." Her eyebrows slightly furrowed, thinking. "I did ask mum once, she never gives me a solid reason for goodness' sake." she sighed.

What was with this place?? First someone hammers him with bags and now some little girl was giving him a stare down and brushes by him. Mark cocked his eyebrow at her and rubbed off his shoulder where she had brushed by him. "Problem?" he asked giving her one of his stare downs. Mark wasnt about to let someone give him a stare down without giving them one back. I mean... he was a Malfoy after all.

Sheesh...she thought picking up her bags again, checking that all of the her stuff was in there..her scarf, bag, shoes and coat, yep everything, I wont she smiled nicely at the younger boy, before grimacing when he turned away and rolling her eyes in annoyance she looked around the tiny bit she was standing in and when HE moved *glare* she would go back to the normal people

Mark needed to get his eyes checked. Obviously this girl was glaring at him too. What was her problem. She was the one that had run into him. Well... thos bags. Bags.. shopping. Spending money. That was something he could do. Spend money.

He looked at her bags quizzically. She looked decent. Not poor like some of these people in here. He could talk to her. Her poorness wouldnt rub off on him. "So bags? Shopping for school or just shopping?" he asked as he walked from the entry way.

Shopping for shopping she said, waving her selfridges bag which her Manolo's were sitting inside in it's nice black box, school shopping sucks she rolled her eyes, showing him the cheap plastic bags compared to her firm laquered cardboard bag, you? She asked, deciding if his answer was good enough she might deign him her name

The Kurumi before coming to Hogwarts probably would have crumbled and run off with nothing more than a stuttering 'n-n-n-n-n-no," but she certainly wasn't that girl anymore. Well...maybe she was still a little that girl, but judgmental looks certainly were not something she would take lightly - if she could handle it. "No," she said standing her ground and returning his stare. "You?"

It wasnt often that Malfoy met people with the same attitude as him. Most people would run off. They could tell the self respect he had for himself and the aroma he held himself up. But these two girls... he could end up hanging with. Their looks and comments made him crack a smile.

He looked at the oriental girl. "Well good. Wouldnt want that eye of yours to go about being stuck on me. Glaring at me and all" he said with a little smirk as he turned to look at the girls bags again. "Shopping for shopping. Something I like. Woman of money?" so he had to ask... It was good to find other wealthy people. Especially in a dump like this..

*blink blink* What was that supposed to mean? Hadn't she been looking at him with both her eyes? Even after a year at Hogwarts, people in Great Britian still confused her. She had to hand it to this guy, he sure seemed confident - something that Kurumi was still struggling very much with. "I-I-I wasn't glaring," she blushed as she began playing with her black side pony tail. What had she been doing? Trying to avoid bumping into him? She certainly was tired of knocking people over when she first met them. This guy certainly didn't seem like the type to hand out chocolate to little girls who ran into him. "I was, well, just trying to pass and I thought that maybe I had seen you somewhere before," she said very matter of factly.

Sheridan rolled her eyes, such a flirt she shook her head and took out her blackberry in bordem as she began to scan through her texts, she looked up as he spoke again, quite a harsh tone but with a soft touch. Odd contridiction. Of course I am she said, raising a manicured eyebrow, you can't not be a pureblood and have at least a little bit of wealth

This girl had seen him before?? Was she serious? He had just moved down here a few days ago. Drumstrang had kicked him out and Hogwarts was eager to take him in. They had a way of wanting to take the "bad" wizards adn witches and turn them into good ones. Silly little Hogwarts. Powerful wizards didnt have to be.... bad ones. Looking back at the manicured girl he shook his head. Did she honestly think that she was better than him? With the comment and the raising of the eyebrow. His eyebrow twitched but he kept a smooth face. Looking to the Leaky Cauldron bar, he spotted the dusty glasses. "Well, a woman like yourself, coming here. Tragedy really. I didnt know you liked eating with the pigs." he commented. His face stayed smoothed and he looked at her square in the face.

Oh I don't, but she shrugged, I need a uniform she smiled fakely at him, and I have arch enemy number 1 coming to the house and I wouldn't be able to be near him for more than a minute without wacking him, she said nochalantly, thinking of Justin Hendricks. Idiot boy, so whats your excuse? She asked scornfully, checking her BB again and replying to a text

This guy was definitely never getting a cookie from Kurumi. Nope, he wasn't cookie worthy even if you squinted and turned your head to the side. And why was he getting so hostile?! She was just asking a simple question. She couldn't help it if people in London tended to look similar! People had said the same thing about her looking like other Japanese people. How rude! "No need to get your wand in a knot," she said folding her arms across her chest and feeling a bit of anger churn in her stomach. Her hair was probably turning a bit red by this point as well.
