New Vaults and Vault Maintenance Counters Aligning both sides of the main hall are long counters made of a polished rich dark wood. Behind them sit goblins, witches and wizards alike, some appearing more welcoming than others, but all ready to service you for a fee that's been debated by some of the cheaper or less wealthy wizards and witches. |
WELL, thought albus, i suppose i've gone into the wrong area, as his pronouncement of needs was roundly ignored by the busy goblins. so he waited in line as patiently as possible, and tried not to fume at this delay. after all, he was a young fellow who was used to being waited on immediately,( at least until his parents were killed...) now, his father's wand in hand, and his family gold, he needed to get his account, get his things, and get to school, or lose his inheritance, he thought impatiently... |
Ethan found the line to get his vault and waited patiently but excitedly for one of the gobins to notice him. He couldn't help but think of home and all the things he had left behind. |
albus waited on queue, waiting to get his inherited wizard gold safely in the bank... |
Just before she entered Gringotts, Evelyn paused to...scowl. There was a reason she never really had an account here in the first place. Goblins. Merlin forbid if she had to talk to one, but with recent events, it was time to just suck it up and stick a smile on her face. The smile was more of a half-scowl though. Nevertheless, the young woman made her way over to the main hall, wand and small to medium sized box in her hands. This ought to be where she would be able to set up a new vault, right? Might as well wait in line for assistance to figure that out. It'd been quite awhile since she was here last. |
As Milly staggered into the main foyer, for a moment she was overwhelmed, with all that she had been through that day she wanted to sink to the floor and sleep, but keeping a firm hold on Dizzy, who liked to wander she trotted to a crowded area and leant against a wall panting and trying to keep hold of a struggling Dizzy. Milly had been given money by all her relatives and she needed an account but she wished she could go back to the cosy inn where she had stayed the night but she knew that she had even more to do the next day and would regret leaving this important job. She groaned in despair as Dizzy took one strong lurch for freedom, and succeeded, Milly resigned herself to having to run after her. With another sigh she broke into a reluctant run... |

Official Hogwarts Business Harold "Hops" Lagerty was as happy as usual when he entered the large Wizarding Bank's marble hall. The Hogwarts Board of Governor's Treasurer walked with a bounce in his step towards the withdraws counter. Even though he was in a good mood Lagerty was still dreading the trip down into the deep vaults. He was a man from a small Welsh fishing town, the depths underground were not for him. |
Ali both loved and hated the grandeur of the place, it reminded her of home. A home she no longer had. Shaking off the depressing thoughts she made her way to stand in line and waited to be called over by one of the goblins. Goblins. Of course they handled the money. Greedy little things, weren't they? They gave Ali the chills that was for sure. |

Deciding it wasn't necessary for the female Goblin to help him today on a rather routine withdrawal, the Board of Governors Treasure responded to the Gringott's worker's greeting. "Hello there, no keep just my wand for identification. Harold Lagerty, I'm here to retrieve some funds from the Hogwarts vault number 713 as Treasurer of the school's Board of Governor's." The man with salt-and-pepper hair smiled brightly at the man as he waited for his request to be processed. |

And his knees. His poor, stiff knees, aching with every step. How he longed to be a young goblin again. Nostalgic sigh. |

Ratnik looked over the application, checked it against the wand, and filed it away. Then, it was onto the wand itself. He took his time inspecting it. He smelled it, ran his fingers along it, and even gave it a cautious taste with a flick of his tongue. After deeming everything right, he put the wand down on the counter for the man or child to take. "Follow," he grunted, hopping off his stool and walking around the counters and through a set of doors, not bothering to look back and make sure they heeded his instructions. Please post here next. :) |

And they were going to go get it now? "Alright, right behind you." Hops wasn't excited about going down there but he would be checking a big item off of his to-do list in the Alley once it was finished. |
This one has mommy issues in case you couldn't tell haha Quote:

Having some 'Peeves' problems. Hopefully the application got to you and just once Zoe walked, wide eyed, up to the New Vaults counter. This place was much bigger than she expected and everyone around her looked very serious. "Excuse me. I would like to open a new vault. Is this where I need to do that?" |
The Group Following Colin Colin efficiently walked to the counter. The faster they moved, the faster they'd be out of view. Goblins were suspicious creatures. Quizzit not so much. Especially since he was the goblin that discovered the vault had been emptied. But the others? They'd quickly turn their backs on their fellow employees if they thought there was something in it for them. So, naturally, a lot of commotion and official looking people weren't very good. Hence nearly everyone on edge. He waited a few feet away from the counter and waited for the others to join him. |
Apologies for the wait! SS was not being nice. XD With a nod to Dorian and a quick motion at Benjamin that he was welcome to follow her, Elinor swept along behind Colin. He walked as only a bank employee really could. Get them in, get them out, that seemed to be the motto of all of them. But Elinor kept a reasonable pace with him, a person of haste, herself. She knew that her presence, and her bag with the ministry seal stamped on it, was not exactly welcomed in view of every customer and employee. She shifted it to the other shoulder, burying the seal against her hip. In retrospect, she thought, she probably looked more like a bank robber at this point than anything else. Another stray thought wished that Dorian had an equally qualified partner to conduct questioning, so that he would have been free to come along with her. In the |
His joints ached. Quizzit Wizspigot's joints ALWAYS ached, but they were especially achy today. The disgruntled little goblin sat behind the counter and rubbed his stiff knees, adjusting his spectacles when Colin and some others approached the counter. "Can I help you, Mr. Roderick.. Mr. Roderick's.. friends?" the librarian-like goblin asked as politely as possible. Those people best have not been getting mud on the floors. He wasn't cleaning. Knees hurt too much and stuff. |
"Good day, Quizzit Wizspigot." Colin greeted with a smile. He held out his wand should the elderly goblin decide to examine it. And... straight to the point. "Official business I'm afraid." he said lowering his voice. He leaned closer to the counter and dropped it to a near whisper. "Vault 713." He then straightened back out. Any verifying questions today? Because his personal favorite was 'What does a Pheonix say?' Although, he'd be sad to change it were it to be used today. But maybe he seemed Colin-ish enough where that wouldn't be necessary. He'd let the goblin decide. He'd get to introducing the lady once they were in the cart. |
"Wand please," Quizzit asked immediately, wanting to verify that this was indeed Mr. Roderick before taking him up. Only Harold Lagerty had permission to go to that vault, and he most trusted bank employees, of course, so wand verification was absolutely necessary. Who was the lady he was bringing with him, though? He narrowed his eyes but still waited patiently. And tried not to get even weaker at his stiff knees. Vault 713 was.. not one of his favorites. |
Colin spun his wand between his fingers and held it out again. There it was in all it's glory. He cast a quick smile at the MLE employee before turning his attention back to the goblin. "She's with me." He'd give a proper introduction when they got into the cart. |
"She's with you." Quizzit turned the wand about in his hands, noting the length and the material, knowing for sure that it was definitely Colin's wand. Grumbling a bit about his joints, he hopped out from behind the counter and eyed the woman before beginning to lead them to cart. A pair of clankers, and he was all set to go. "Right, then. This way to Vault 713, follow me, please." Just instructions for.. Mr. Roderick's.. friend. Because he knew how this worked. Ahem. |
Colin nodded. Yup. She was with him. He waited until he received his wand back. He then held the gate open for the elderly goblin and the Ministry employee. He lowered his voice and whispered along the way. "This is Quizzit." he told her. "Easily the oldest goblin here." he explained. "The Hogwarts vault requires a goblin to enter it." Just for her information. Of course, he guessed MLE already suspected that. "He's normally the one stationed at the window... but the event was a complete surprise to him." |
Desiree felt like she had been waiting for hours. She absolutely hated waiting, but she never let people see her impatient. People would be less likely to give you things if you look rude and demanding. Yet another thing Mother taught her. The line had moved, what, two people? Three? Mother had gone to sit down, leaving Desiree by herself. Finally. She hated how Mother watched her so carefully. The line moved up slightly. Desiree was twirling her wand in her hand. She tried to look happy and smile, but she was sick of waiting. |
He finally saw a sign that said new vaults. The building was very large and he had wondered if he would ever figure out where he should go. "I'm here for a new vault" the young boy said. His hand still clutching the money transfer sheet his mother had given him. Asher would have brought his mother, but she was still too sick to leave the house. He had to do it alone. Nervous and slightly sick to his stomach, Asher patiently waited to be helped. He wasn't in a hurry, but he sure did want to hand over the bank information from his grandmothers estate before he lost it. |
Félicie strode confidently up to the counter, wand in hand and a large bag with everything she wanted to put in her vault as a first deposit. She'd looked over her form many times, and was sure she'd gotten everything right, so she glanced around to see if there was an available goblin anywhere around. "Excusez-moi? I would like to open a new vault for my family, please," she said. It was always hard to project confidence when she was scared, and honestly, goblins intimidated her. She offered a nervous smile and wished fervently that Rory would show up soon from work and take over for her. |
Calista had already filled out her new vault application and had some galleons in her sak bag to deposit. She needed to get her vault set up right away so she could start having her ministry wages put into her Gringotts account. There was some business she could not attend to until this was done. "Yes. Hello? Can someone please escort me to my new vault? I would sincerely appreciate it." |
Aniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiita :3 Which his son balanced on his shoulders and his wife by his side, Aron lead the way through the moderately crowded bank and towards the counters. He was eager to get this part of the day over with so they could get on to more important things, like taking a stroll in the park and looking at the foliage and food. The Australian was more than a little hungry given how close it was to the lunch hour. "I hope this won't take too long," he mutter under his breath as they waited in line, rolling his shoulders a bit. "Alright buddy. I'm gonna need to put ya down. My shoulder's need a break." But really, telling a toddler that they couldn't be held was asking for the waterworks. Op, there they were. Just as soon as his feet touched the ground. |
Quote:
Her blue eyes turned to her son as Aron removed him from his shoulders, already anticipating the tantrum. "Shhhhh shhhh shhhhhhhh," she soothed, her arms already around Derfael and picking him up to hold around her waist. Merlin he was getting heavier. What did he weigh now? The equivalent of a moderately sized potted puffapod? "Mummy's got you," she cooed, kissing his blonde hair gently. And now that she had no work obligations she could hold him all day and all night for as long as she needed to. |
Quote:
Shoulders relieved for the time being, he rolled them nice and slowly clockwise twice and then counterclockwise five times to get some of the kinks out. He had been carrying his son on them since they had left the flat and that was quite a ways away. "Now here is a sight I miss seeing," he chuckled as Seren picked their son up. |
Coriana sighed as she joined the line waiting for new vaults. "Was it like this when you got your first vault mom?" She sighed again when her mother nodded. "well, this sucks, glad i got the clothes first then." She fidgeted with her wand as the line moved slightly. |
Quote:
Snuggling her face into Derf's, Seren gave him a little eskimo kiss before pulling faces with him. All smiles. Her darling husbands comment resulted in her smile broadening, "Here that Derfael? Daddy likes seeing us together again." It was just such a shame the school holidays would go more swiftly than they had come. |
Lucy found the line to get her vault and waited patiently for one of the goblins to notice her..Goblins were very fascinating for her and Lucy admired them for their ability to construct objects of metal ..She clutched her wand in the pocket and she imagined touching the sword of Godric Gryffindor .. how she wanted to hold it someday .. |
SPOILER!!: The Two With The Baby Human What was that noise? Sturnik's ears hurt. It sounded like human child. He patrol strolled toward the service windows. King Ragnuk the First! Was that female "adult" one sniffing the nose of the child? Humans had odd behaviors. "We have a room to entertain the human children." he said as he passed. "I find that they don't help the banking process." He then gave them a good look over. As head of security, he found that they did not pose any threats. He didn't trust the child one though. "What type of vault are you here for?" Quote:

More human children! It must have been summer. Oh how it was more fun to repossess the student belongings and not serve them. "What vault are you waiting for?" he asked looking at some female witch children. The Head of Security needed to know these things. Plus, if they were here for low security student vaults, he could move them up in the line. |
SPOILER!!: the wife and the goblin :3 Patience. He couldn't help but chuckle at Seren was the one reminding him about it. He felt confident in saying that could be a VERY patient person. Or maybe persistent was more his virtue. Trying not to look too grumpy, he instead focused on the interaction between mother and son. Probably not the best time to bring up that conversation again... Thankfully he didn't have to say anything due the arrival of one of the goblins. About time too. "We're looking to open a VIP vault," he responded, venturing a glance towards Seren briefly. He would let her handle that whole...play area question. |
SPOILER!!: Goblin and Husband With her son now quiet content on her hip, Seren was able to refocus on the task they'd set out to achieve in this... outing. Waiting was never her strong suit either, but she was willing to make the most of the time by unburdening herself of the troubles created by stress. Holidays were not for stressing. Holidays were for enjoying her family's company. For this reason the goblin's comment did not strike her as a viable option and though Aron seemed content with leaving it be and focusing on their account, she was not going to let it go. "That's all well and good, but it won't be necessary, thank you," she commented, considering the goblin hadn't actually asked nor insisted. She was happy to keep things civil but she would not let him makes assumptions regarding the behaviour of her darling oak prince! |

Goblins... They still freaked Leah out. She tightened her grip on her father's hand. She had to do this, creating a new Gringotts vault. Seeing the little kids at the counters relaxed her by a bit, they all seemed younger than her, and what would they think if they found out that she was scared of goblins? Leah let go of her father's hand, whispered "I can do this, Father." in his ear and walked to the line in front of the window. "Hello? I'm here to open a student vault?" she said to a patrolling goblin. Wait, was that Professor Bentley? Startled, Leah muttered, "uh, hello Professor. It's good to see you." Meeting a teacher and her family during summer vacation was just bizarre. |

"Have you already been approved?" he asked. He knew the humans had preapproved department heads and governors. Foolish move, he thought, considering the type of vault that was robbed. But it wasn't his decision. "I would also need to see both of your wands." he said holding out his hand. He needed to examine them. "I also assume an application has been filled out." Quote:

Not that she wouldn't. Ahem. Upon reaching the new vault window, Lucia tapped the counter in front of an old looking goblin to get his attention. He'd been previously busy with some paperwork, but the customers were more important, right? "Do you think you could handle this man for me, Mr. Wizspigot? He's the vice president of the Board of Governors, so he's already on our list of those with pre-approved dignitary vaults." Oh lord. Quizzit wouldn't have to take the man UP there, would he? His stiff knees had been hurting all day; there was no way he'd make it to a vault without collapsing. But since Mrs. Clark had asked, Quizzit nodded a crotchety nod and nudged a form at the man. "Fill that out." So polite, he was. |

Once he was finished, he smiled politely and pushed it back across the counter to him. "There you go - all done!" he told him happily. Come on goblin, cheer up! Nolan was nice! |
Nola lead the way into Gringotts with her father trailing behind her. She waited in line to fill out the forms and waited as patiently as she could without fidgeting. Which really was quite a defeat. With her brand new wand waiting in her bag she waited for a goblin to become available. As much as Nola was interested with the goblins she was more interested in exploring Diagon. |

Goblin and Aron ... with mention of Leah ^___^ Somewhere between entertaining her son and interjecting as her handsome husband dealt with the goblin, Seren heard a familiar voice. Looking away from the bright blue eyes of her little man, her gaze came to rest on Leah. "Miss Abbott, it's good to see you too," she replied, offering the girl a quick wink before they both returned their attention to their bank business. Though it may have appeared she was distracted by the two year old, she wasn't and had listened attentively enough. "... and Deputy Headmistress..." she attached to the end of Aron's sentence. That made her VIP where Hogwarts staff were concerned, no? She wasn't all too thrilled with handing her wand over, but if it was necessary, so be it. Balancing the child on her hip, she removed her wand from her holster and held it out tentatively. |
"Yes!" Said Lucy who looked at the goblin.."I'm looking for a vault!" Can you help me choose a vault very safe for me? |

Marie stood in line with her parents and her older siblings. Since she was now 11 and going to Hogwarts, she was going to get her own vault instead of sharing the family vault. Ed had his own, Anna had one, now it was Marie's turn. "Once you get sorted, we'll come decorate the vault in blue and bronze." Father was saying now. "Another Ravenclaw vault in the family." "Does everyone decorate their vaults?" Marie couldn't imagine that all of these people had decorated vaults. "No dear, but it makes the vaults special." Mother always did like feeling special. Marie nodded and went back to quietly waiting for a worker to summon them over. |

Yup. They were wands. He then gave them a quick measure using the edge of the counter. "Mahogany and Avodire." he said handing them back. "We are all set. Would you like to visit your vault now? Will the child be coming? There are dragons on the way, so if there is anyone sensitive to smoke, I recommend they stay behind." |
Quote:
|
SPOILER!!: Goblin and Aron After adjusting her grip Derfael, preventing him from slipping any further down her waist, Seren retrieved her wand and returned it to her concealed holster. At the mention of taking a look at their vault, and... dragons, Seren turned to gauge Aron's reaction. His shrugging told her all she needed to know. "I'm fine without, unless you want to?" she replied, reluctant to let go of their son - and she wasn't all that keen on introducing him to dragon smoke. |
Coriana sighed as another girl beat her to the open window. "Mom, is it always like this in here?" When her mom shrugged, Cori sighed and went back to patiently waiting for her turn. |
& goblin by extension Quote:
"We are all set for now," he replied, turning back towards the goblin. "Maybe some other time." Like when he had official business to attend to like making a deposit or a withdrawal. Aron placed a hand on Seren's lower back and began to lead her out of the bank. Suuuuuuuuunlight here they come! |
New Vault The uniformed boy drew closer to the highly polished desks and followed the logical progression of filling out one of the new vault forms. When it came to what sort of vault he wanted, he stalled for a moment. He felt that a student one would fill to capacity too quickly and might even come with binding spells that would only allow for the vaults contents to be used toward education. And a business one? Well, he wasn't fully fledged yet. He liked the sound of 'Other', though. That sounded flexible and like something he might be able to negotiate his needs into. "Hello." He began, putting his best efforts toward using what Gobbledegook he was able to teach himself. Surely, everyone there knew some portion of the language, right? The rest, he carried out in English, just in case. "I need to open a new vault. Can you help me?" |
AJ had money. AJ had money. AJ had money, hey, hey, hey, hey. It was goblin time and the lion was not able to hide her excitement. The rumors were true. EEP. She wondered if she could pet it. Better yet, could she have her very own goblin? It would be nice to have a back up plan incase her unicorn fell through. There was a line, and AJ raced over to stand behind the last person. She was having problems staying still though. Jumping up and down in place happened partly because she was THAT excited, and partly because she couldn't see the action over the tall dude in her line of vision. Move over, dude. Was it her turn yet? |
Quote:
Jake looked up as he saw a young boy approach the desk out of his peripheral vision, his eyebrows raising slightly at the Gobbledegook. How old was this kid? Jake wondered if he knew any other words in the language, but he didn't ask. Instead he just smiled and replied, "Hello," also in Gobbledegook, then in English, "I sure can. Have you filled out the new vault form?" Quote:
"Hello, Miss," he said, trying to catch her attention. "Welcome to Gringotts. What can I help you with today?" |
Since she was pretty much an actual, official adult now that she'd graduated from Hogwarts, Penelope figured it was about time for her to open her own vault at Gringotts. She'd done fine keeping her money protected and stuff, and managed to make sure she always had lots saved instead of spending everything as soon as she could. But now it seemed appropriate to save it somewhere else, and Gringotts was obviously the proper place for that. So she got into what looked like the right line and waited for whenever it would be her turn. |
Quote:
"Joost finished." Cutty said with a smile passing the completed form over to the wizard by sliding it beneath his hand. "Do you need to see my wand also?" And he had six billion questions too. One of which came out whilst he had reached for his wand. "Is Gringotts insured in the event of a thief making his or her way into my vault?" |
Quote:
"Hi, welcome to Gringotts. How can I - Penelope?" Jake blinked when he actually saw who he was talking to. It had been... two years since he'd seen his friend. Friend? Did he even count as a friend now? He cleared his throat and sat up a little straighter. "How're you doing, Penelope? It's been a while. What can I do for you?" Quote:
At the next question, he almost laughed. Almost. "Gringotts is completely safe. There hasn't been a robbery here in a really long time." Other than the goblin-aided kind, but he wasn't going to mention it. Most people probably remembered what had happened anyway. "But yes. It's insured." At least he thought it was. ...Fingers crossed. He leaned forward slightly and turned the form around for the boy to see. "Mr. Mordaunt, there is a slight problem with your application. You asked for a Special Use Vault, which I'm afraid I can't assign to you at this time. I would suggest a Student Vault instead. It has everything that you specified on your application, and you can always upgrade to an Individual Vault at a later time if you exceed the capacity of the vault." He looked at the boy to see if that was okay. |
Quote:
She looked up from the form she'd picked up and...oh. It was Jake. Merlin, she'd forgotten he worked here. Pretty easy thing to forget after, what, two years now? But also a really inconvenient thing to forget because now this was awkward. Merlin. She was gonna try not to let it be though. Penelope could totally be professional about this. No issues here. "Hey, Jake." Well, calling him by his first name probably wasn't technically professional...but whatever. "M'doing okay. Just here to open a vault." She filled out the last bit of the form before handing it over to him. "Hope I filled it all out right." |
Quote:
"Hiiii," she singsonged. "Thank you sir. I'm here to open up my very own vault." AJ was beaming from ear to ear. This was exciting stuff here. "I have 10 galleons, 5 sickles, and 1 knut." She was proud of that. The soon to be second year looked around. While the man was nice, she was disappointed that a goblin wasn't helping her. She really did want to pet one. "Is it true that we get to go on a ride?" Because she loved roller coasters. |
Quote:
At the girl's next question, he chuckled again. "It's a bit of a ride, yes. I hope you don't get motion sickness?" He smiled. Quote:
... well, this was slightly awkward. Really, Jake didn't see how it wouldn't be, considering how long it'd been and the fact that they used to be fairly close. And apparently Penelope didn't want to do the catch-up thing. This was going to be strictly business, then. He could do that. He looked over the form that she handed to him, nodding slightly as he read. "Everything looks great. I'll need a look at your wand, please. And that'll be ten galleons to register." |
Quote:
A ride. YES!!! "Me? No way. I am so ready." Pumped would be an understatement. Could she go now? "Do I get to ride with a goblin?" That would make her whole banking experience. |
Quote:
Thankfully she'd filled the form out fine, so Penelope pulled out her wand and handed it over to him. Then she opened her bag to grab a handful of galleons and counted out ten of them. Imagine the food she could have bought with that. But this was the price to pay for having a vault here apparently. Ah well. She handed those to him too. "There you go. Anything else?" |
Quote:
The faintest smile played around the boy's mouth as he was addressed by his father's name. It amused him when people addressed him by this title. A soft ker-tap! sound was swallowed by the vastness of the space that was Gringotts bank as Cutty placed his wand on the surface of Jake's desk. He listened as the wizard went on to explain about his vault options and his almost buggy eyes glanced down for a moment as if considering whether or not he'd be alright with a student vault. He was in fact, simply re-evaluating his plan. "A student vault sounds perfect. Booht,...Do other types of assets count toward the vault capacity? Say I over-exceed capacity, could I take that money and place it into the market as a stock or a bond?" Cutty was game for getting in on the ground floor of the Wizarding business world. He wanted to be a part of it one day himself. Also, he wanted to meet Anna Greingoth-Newell. In a strange way, she was slowly becoming his hero. And he figured if he invested enough money in her company, he'd have an even better chance of seeing that to fruition. He wouldn't have to be nice to Sophie Newell. Mwahahahaah! |
Finally Cyprien was going to be able to go ahead and open an account at Grigotts. It would feel good to have his money in a place that was secure. Waiting in line Cyprien stepped up to the counter. "Excuse me? I would like to open an account?" |
Anyone ready to be taken to their vault Sturnik didn't want to do this. Sturnik wanted to continue to make eyes at a certain window goblin. It was just hard to do that with so many children in the way. Sturnik would get rid of the children. By ensuring they were taken care of. "Alright. Anyone ready to see their vault, follow me." he said making his way toward the carts. |
Walking into a big beautiful building. Prim thought it was the craziest thing she went through all day. she was so scared she would do something stupid. lets hope she doesn't trip again. |
Quote:
That was probably him. Cutty saved his question for another round of research, though his hunch that it didn't count was probably right as such assets didn't take up any more space than a document with the stock information required. Perhaps, when the time came he could simply invest or opt for a larger account as the wizard helping him had suggested. He finished up with the wizard and followed the Goblin to his new vault. Of his own. No mother dipping in and spending it on whatever dumb thing. He had his own vault! |
Brennan Nithercott walked into the line and waited for his turn. He didn't know what to expect from his new vault. |
Tex normally handled the exchange window. However, she was currently covering the shift for a a fellow goblin. She tapped her fingers against the counter waiting for anyone that needed help. And then someone came along. "May I help you?" she asked. She assumed that he needed a new vault, but wanted to make sure. |

15-year-old Austin Moore walked into the Bank. He had been in a few times with his father, but never on his own. This summer he was planning on working at his father's shop, and he needed a place to store his money. The teen was both excited and nervous. Was he too young to get his own vault? Did he have to have his father here too? Either way he walked up to a free counter, and waited to be helped. |

Ah. A wizarding youngin, and a fresh-out-of-school looking one at that. Let him guess— he wanted to open up a VAULT? How rare! "How may I help you, sir?" the elderly goblin asked, some of his disgruntlement seeping into his tone. |

"Um, I'd like to open a vault please." He tried to sound as confident as he could, but it came out shy. Austin felt embarrassed that he had wasted this goblin's time, even if it was his job. All he wanted to do now was go home. |

But he attempted to smile (which came out more like a grimace) as he extended his hand for the boy's wand. Ahhhh. The elbow. Most painful, creaky thing of all. |

The fifteen year old found it best to just wait out what the goblin had to say, instead of trying to strike up a conversation. He let his mind wonder a little bit, thinking about what kind of information a wand could give. They couldn't speak, obviously, but... how does one extract information? Was there a spell? Or a potion that you could put on the wand? It was very intriguing. |

"Do you have your application? Give it here, please." |
Wizspigot & Cutty After parting ways with Mrs. Clark, Cutty (now a grown wizard) made his way over to the New Vaults and Maintenance Counter. Third Goblin from the left. That would be where Mr. Quizzit Wizspigot would be found. Cutty looked up to see with Goblin in question and his immediate thought was focused on whether or not he had an eligible daughter. The scrutiny would be amazing but the ins with the Goblin community would be worth it. And if one knew nothing about the Wizarding economy, one knew that it was of Goblin origin. One of those things not talked about openly at parties, though. "Mr. Wizspigot. I'm Cutty Mordaunt. Mrs. Clark sent me here to evaluate my Gobbledegook." He had on a faint smile as he wondered if he should've said all of that in Gobbledegook. |

Quizzit Wizspigot, stiff joint extraordinaire, was expecting a Goblin language speaker, not... this. His tone as he replied in rapid Gobbledegook conveyed as much to the Mordaunt boy. "Mr. Mordaunt," was the hissing translation, if Cutty was educated enough to understand it, "These are the vault counters. The Potions Market counters are over there. Tell me, why are you here if that is where you wish to work?" |
There was a reason why Seb had always hated this place. Goblins. They were just ruthless mercenaries who didn't care about anything but gold and treasure. Seb scowled as he moved towards the desk. He had never really liked this place, even as a child he had a slight distaste when it came to Gringotts. The place was practically teeming with goblins and wizards alike. Even with the presence of the other wizards, Seb couldn't wait to just get this over with. He stepped into the line going up to the counter and pulled out his Cedar wand. Ugh. |

Nothing but pure business. "What brings you to Gringotts." |
SPOILER!!: Tex Seb moved up to the counter and tried his best to friendly, (which was at best a grimace) trying to hide his disdain for the place under his forced, thin-lipped excuse of a smile. What else would he be doing here other than wanting to open a vault? Just keep your mouth shut, Seb. "I'd like to open a new vault," he said in a gruff tone, before adding "please." He slid his wand out from the inside of his suit-jacket and placed it on the counter, alongside with the application that he had filled in. He was in no mood to stay here longer than was needed. |

"It appears everything is in order." she said sliding the wand back across the counter. She filed the paperwork then turned her attention back to the man. "Do you want to see the vault now or would you rather leave your first deposit here?" |
Selina entered Gringotts bank, and was pleasantly surprised by the interior, it certainly made up for the rickety exterior of the building. The long marble hallway lined with tall benches was most definitely grand, although the appearance of the goblins did it no justice. Not that she would complain, she had been taught to respect Goblins, after all they were the ones protecting her family fortune, and goblin made was made best. Head held up, with her silver hair flowing down her back, almost but not quite to her hips, Selina walked down the grand hallway toward the vault maintenance counters. Surely they would be able to help her. Upon reaching the counters she realised that they were all busy, and she stood tapping her foot and twirling her new wand in her hand while she waited. Eventually one counter cleared up, and she approached it cautiously. " I'd like to access my family vault, I was informed I could have access once I had acquired a wand." she said, holding out her new wand so that they could see that she indeed had one. |

"Could I get your name?" |

What if they were going to insist she was of age, before they let her enter!? Then she'd have to go to school with second hand books and uniform. No that would not do! |
Quote:
"Follow me please." she said sliding off her stool. She grabbed a ring of keys and led the way over to the vaults. OOC: Since the Opening Feast has now started, we'll be wrapping up DA rps. Feel free to post in the vaults. I just ask that you make it one post as students should now be at school. ^_^ |
