WORK AREA & CUBICLES

All three divisions are combined here. The Magical Office of Law, Trading Standard Bodies, and British Seats. It is one large work area so that everyone has an open work environment and can work together.

The entire room is very open, and has a very friendly feeling to it. Against one wall, all three division heads have desks of their own, that are set up differently then the desks around the room. Here there is no need to sit with your division, mix among people from other divisions. Ask them for help, or help them. And as always, you're division head is there to assist you if you need it!

Pandora walked into the new department work area and saw a the desks for the division heads along one wall. Choosing one by the 'window' she placed her bag down on it and took out her framed photograph of her new husband and his cat. She took out quills and ink, preferring to use her own things and took a look around the room. Liliana had really out done herself; the room was amazing. She took a seat behind her desk, conjuring a cup of white tea, sipping it and waiting for everyone else to arrive.

So as of now, Level Five looked so organised and stuff. If this was the re-vamp, Pippa was totally happy to just be working here, let alone a Division Head. Smiling to herself, as she took a look over the work area and contently smiled as she headed in the direction of the three cubicles, for the three Division Heads. Nodding at Pandora as she did so, Pippa directly chose the cubicle beside hers, and placed her bag down on her desk, before glancing back over to see if anyone else had came in.

As of yet, noone. So she set about personalising her desk. First off, a picture Rory had drawn her got blu-tacked up, and the a framed picture of her nephew and herself. Oh, and then her muggle notebook and muggle pencil case, went down. There. Finished. Satisfied.

Dawson walked into the office. He had heard that things would be slightly different. Now it was his turn to see it for himself. He was rather excited about being mixed together with the other Divisions. After finding a desk that was pretty close to the center of the room he set his belongings down.

After getting his small space situated he looked towards the part of the room that was designated to the Division heads. He had heard that they would be getting a new head. He wasn't quite sure how he liked this seeing as how he was quite fond of his old head. But then again he might like this one just the same.

Never the less he decided to head over to where they were. Finding Pandor and gave her a smile. "Hello" He said giving her a nod. "I head that you are our new Division head." He told her extending his hand. "I'm Dawson Stark"

Carrying her personal belongings inside a medium sized card box, Diana walked into the new Department work area. It looked fantastic. Liliana had done a great job, had a great idea of setting everyone inside the same room, to work along. Was this going to be so much better, it seemed. Now the divisions were to know everything that happens at the same time.

Smiling around, she noticed Pandora was already there. "Hey..." She greeted, then choosing a desk, not very far away from her.

This was sort of a new start.

Abigail walked around the new and improved work cubicles. She had to admit, it had a better feeling then it did when she first got here. She carried a box with her belongs and settled into a new cubicle. It brought back memories of when she first her best friend, Jenkins, here. And she missed him dearly. Abigail decorated her cubicle, almost like it was before, except she toned it down a bit.

Yay for florals!!

She set up pictures of Jule, Kat and Tyler. Her little munchkins were always the ones to have a special place on her desk somewhere.

Pandora gave Pippa a little wave by way of a greeting. She took another sip of her tea and then placed her cup down. She was just about to go over and say hello properly when a hot young man walked up and introduced himself. "Ah, hello Dawson, it's good to meet you." Pandora stood up to shake his hand, adjusting her empire line robes carefully as she did so. There was no point in making things obvious before there was a need to. "Tell me, Dawson, how long have you been with the Division? Be sure to grab a desk." She told him. She only hoped that there would be enough desks.

She noticed the door open. It was Diana. She smiled, glad to see a face she knew. "Hello Diana, nice to see you. Isn't lovely in here? Without those stuffy cubicles? Lili really has done a brilliant job."

Addressing both of them she said brightly, "We're not sitting in strict divisions, the idea is to have the divisions interact and communicate more freely. You will still be required to report to me though. Any questions?"

Laura Thomas entered the Level Five of the Ministry and headed towards her newly re-designed Department of International Co-operation where all the divisions were set up together.An employee of British Divison she slowly walked through the work area and saw Pandora Cavanaugh a Division Head of the Deapartment talking to her employees.Laura gave a small nod and a smile and slowly made her way to one of the empty cubicles.
She walked in with her box of belongings and got into a new cubicle.Setting the box on her table she looked around.She came out and found that there were cubicles all around her and anyone could come and be her neighbour not just her British Seats people.
it would be quite an experience she thought.Working here for quite sometime Laura still couldnt manage to know people from other divisions of International Cooperation yet so this would be a good way to start to know others.
Laura went back to her cubicle and set her things up on the flanel borad with pins and pics of her and her school friends and her parents.She set up her table with stationary and stuff and then looked around
feels like deja vu she spoke to no one in particular as she remembered her own time when she first set up her cubicle in British Seats Division sometime back.

Dawson gave Pandora a smile. "Its nice to meet you as well" He told her with a nod. She seemed very nice, that was for sure. He had a feeling that they were going to get along.

"I have only been here a couple of months" he informed his new head. He really hadn't been here all that long, but from the short amount of time that he had been he did really like the divsion. "I transfered here from the Italian ministry" He mention. Dawson turned as someone else came up and skoke to Pandora. "Hello" He said giving her a nod and a soft smile.

Pippa gave an appreciative nod, at Pandora's wave, and set about finishing her desk, deciding she would make conversation in a short while. Considering there was a bout of people heading in right now. Turning in her chair, to look at the others, she gave a soft smile, and turned back to her desk quickly, adjusting the photo of herself and Rory. Just for the small fact that it was squift. And squift was not good.

Looking back over her shoulder, she looked about the room, meaning to count the amount of people, but gave up as more added to the room. My, Pandora certainly was popular.

Looking through her personal belongings box, Di's head turned back to Pandora, then nodded to agree that the place was looking good. "I still think of privacy, though. I had a bunch of pictures hanging upon the walls of my cubicle..." She shrugged, taking her family picture and smiling towards it. Oh gosh, she really missed her parents and Emiliano. And then one of Jonathan. Long time she hadn't seen him, eh.

Ooh, back to work mode. She noticed, that in no time, the place around Pandora was filled. She was surrounded. "Hello, Dawson..." She greeted.

Laura sat and relaxed in her seat and thought where Helena,Eteria and Birce were.She hadnt seen them for quite sometime.She waited for her collegues to show up and Jacob the Division Head as well to address them.She thought he would as she saw some other Division Head do that.
She sat back and read through the past files which she carried with her.

Pandora listened to Dawson, and nodded when he said that he had spent time with the Italian ministry. She fiddled with her engagement ring, which had been bought in Venice as she asked "What position did you hold in the Italian Ministry?" That information had been missing from his personnel file. She had the feeling that her happiness from her personal life was altering her work demeanour. Well, that was surely not going to last too long...

Pandora tilted her her head to one side, considering Dianna's point. "Hmm, I suppose so. If you really need one, there are some dividers at the back of the room, but since there are so few I would ask you to limit yourself to using two at the most. Personally, I think that this layout is far preferable. I have always worked in such a layout, when I was working indoors. I think those cubicles would have depressed me eventually. They were so... grey and lifeless."

She gathered up some papers and crossed the room to where Pippa's desk was. She stooped low and pretended to show her fellow division head the documents she was holding. "How's it going?" She asked in a low voice that only Pippa could hear.

Dawson was eager to get to merge with the other parts of the International Cooperation Division. He had always been a people person and was looking forward to getting to expand his recourses.

He turned his attention back to Pandora. "I was assistant to the Department head of Counterfeit Magic" He informed her. He had excelled fast within the Italian division. He had learned a lot and hoped to transfer some of his knowledge into the British Ministry. Not to mention the fact that he was biased seeing as how this was his home.

Looking around as a voice close to her caught her attention, Pippa smiled at Pandora; and almost shrugged. But managed to nod instead. "It's going alright, thanks. Just settling in, to be honest. I'm not sure if any of them in here are mine, yet. I haven't really been paying much attention. Just wanted to make sure my space looked fine, all presentable and that. And I got my bits down. Personal photo's and stuff-" She stopped herself there, and smiled at the woman.

"How are things going for you anyway? Had enough company over there, very popular Pandora, very popular." She chuckled softly.

"Have you found many differences between the two ministries? Was there anything that they were doing that you thought was a good idea?" Pandora was interested to know how other organisations worked, it was her inner Ravenclaw drive for knowledge. "My husband and I had a holiday in Venice in October... It was so beautiful there, I almost didn't want to come home." A small, soft and not often seen smile sat on Pandora's lips for just a second. It had gone as soon as it appeared. In a serious and much more professional manner, she asked; "Now, have you got your work area organised?" She asked the young man. Disorganisation was something that deeply irritated Pandora; in her opinion it showed a lax approach to work.

Pandora was not entirely sure how to take Pippa's response. They were both new to the job as far as she knew. She immediately began to worry that she had given her biggest secret away when perhaps she should have trusted her instincts and played her cards closer to her chest. "Oh me too, I mean... I got all my things sorted. Popular? Oh... I'm not sure about that! It would be something of a change of stride..." She was almost thinking aloud. Marshalling her thoughts, she said, "I really think this new approach is going to be far more productive, don't you? So long as we can avoid people becoming too..." She struggled for the correct word, "gossipy? Do you know what I mean?"

Helena walked into level five, and glanced around all of work area. She liked it much more like this, it was friendlier and would make working between the devisions. She smiled at people here and there as she passed and found an empty cubical near one of the windows, then began to put her things back on the desk; photos and spare parchment, writing equipment, muggle Post-it Notes. That kind of stuff.

He walked in as if he owned the place. He'd just been in his office briefly to make sure that it was the way that he had specified before figuring that he should make his way to the work area on Level Five where all his employees worked.

He had recently taken over for Mrs. Hunter, she had found out that she was pregnant with triplets and so she chose to no longer stay in the ministry so that she would be able to look after her children. At least that is the story that he had been told.

Figuring that introducing himself to the employees was the best idea is what had brought him to the work area.

"Hello," the tall, thirty two year old man said. "May I get your attention please?"

Pandora looked up when she heard an unfamiliar male voice. Seeing the man, who seemed to ooze confidence, she quirked an eyebrow at Pippa and then walked over to him.

"Hello, I'm Pandora Cavanaugh. I'm a division head within the department, can I help you?" Her tone was polite, professional but not overly warm. She did not care for a stranger walking into the department as though he owned the place.

Sebastian looked down at the clipboard that he was holding in his hand with the names of all the employees on it. Including the names of the division heads.

"Of course," he said, still not relaxing at all though, he didn't know these people. He was going to have to make an effort to at least get to know his division heads. "You're the division head for the Magical Office of Law division correct?" He asked, still not introducing himself. He paused, waiting for her to answer, and when she didn't immediately he went on.

"My name, is Sebastian A. Bailey. Either Sebastian or Mr. Bailey please," he said, finally introducing himself. "Mrs. Hunter, having found out that she was pregnant, with triplets this time, has decided that it best for her to leave the Ministry so she will be able to spend time with her children," he said by way of an explanation as to why he was here. "I have been chosen to replace her, and so I am now the Department Head for this level," he said, a matter of fact tone to his voice. "Do you have any questions?" He asked Pandora.

Pandora looked at the man professing to be her new department head.

"Forgive me for sounding suspicious," She said, not caring at all how what she was about to ask him would sound, "but do you have any sort of official identification? It's just that you are a total stranger, it would be rather remiss of me to simply accept what you are saying without question." Again her tone was polite and professional but it had a slight trace of disbelief in it too.

Identification? Could she not see the identification pinned to his suit jacket saying that he was the Department Head for Level Five?

"Yes, of course I do," he said. He pointed to his chest where the identification badge was and smiled at her for the first time. "Where are the other two division heads?" He asked curiously.

Diana looked for the dividers Pandora was talking about. Or maybe, she could set herself in a corner, making sure she had enough sunlight and the facility to pay attention to whatever happened in the office. "I think I'll go set myself up again, at that corner...to take advantage of some walls..." She shrugged and took everything into her box again. Her attention was set on that desk, not in something nor someone else. Like the man, who had walked in as if he was the new boss??

And so he was. Where was Lili??? This was so nonsense, until Sebastian Bailey explained the situation. So, she was pregnant again. She'd have to congratulate her sooner or later, though now she was to write to Lili and his family an owl.

Taking a deep breath, she looked around. Mr. Bailey was looking for the other Division Heads. So far, she knew only two of them, Jacob and Pandora, and now Pippa was taking the third position left. But Jacob had not reported in a while. Hmm.

Laura got up from her seat and walked out of her cubicle just in time to see Helena walk in to the work area of their department.
atlast! she thought.Laura began to walk towards Helena to meet up with her.It seemed like ages that she met and talked to her.
As she was walking she found someone else walk in.Laura noticed there was a kind of authority in his walk and as far as Laura knew he was a complete stranger.She hadnt ever seen him before.But before she could go ahead and walk towards Helena she heard him speak


Laura stopped where she was and listened to the man who called in for attention.She saw him look down at the clipboard and then saw Pandora speak.She waited patiently to know what was goin on.

Laura listened to this new Head of the Department's name as he introduced himself
man...he looks so uptight she thought
Mrs.Hunter was atleast sort of approachable she thought as she listened to him talk about why Mrs.Hunter wasnt around.
She mentally shook her head as he asked them if they had any questions.


She looked at the Magical Law division head as she asked him for his identification which made Laura smirk a bit.

Laura looked around.She had only known about Pandora as the division head and Jacob while the other division head she hadnt seen yet and even if she had she wouldnt have realised that,that person was a division head.
Laura looked around if she could spot Jacob Webster,their division head because he didnt seem to have turned up yet.

Pippa chuckled softly, at the fact she wasn't alone with just getting things all sorted around her desk. And probably at the fact Pandora was adamant she wasn't popular. Passing the temptation to comment back off, she nodded. "I think it's going to work alot better than it being separated, number aren't big anyway, and it seems more openly friendly, encouraging them all not to stick with the people in their own division. If that makes sense." Which it probably didn't. But never mind.

"Gossipy? Indeed, there's a fine line between working and chatting and just chatting. We'll have the stay above the line."

Looking up as Pandora did, over at the newcomer who was requesting the rooms attention, Pippa raised an eyebrow. But it had caught her attention, so he had it.

But, mere seconds later Pandora had left her side and was on her way over to him. Giving her a little moment over there, Pippa watched as a little conversation broke between the pair. And about thirty seconds after Pandora had left her, Pippa followed in that direction.

After clambering out of her chair, that was.

Pippa had finally reached the other side of the room as Mr. New Department Head asked where the other two Division Heads were. "Pippa Norcott, another of the Division Heads."
