"Well my spanish isn't the best either - but I'd be willing to help you on that then?" Alicia asked smiling, running a quick hand through her hair. She smiled, chuckling as he thanked her for introducing him to Gina Latorta.

With a smile she then added, "I'm better with french than spanish actually - born in Paris beautiful city." She smiled a slight french accent coming through.

"I'm Alicia Devereaux by the way," she smiled, "but you can call me Ali or even Ali-D if you need to. It might be easier with the language barrier and all."

Lord Borr was drenched to the skin with sweat. The trip to the fifth level was a long, long, long one for the newly appointed Most Important Man in the Ministry. Sweat or no sweat, there was still WORK to be DONE and Lord Borr was ON the JOB.


"YOU," he gasped, using his cane as a grappling hook to pull himself farther into the work areas. "Stop your dawdling and get me a CHAIR." NOW.

Alicia saw Lord Borr walk into the room, sweat pouring off of him from every orifice of his skin. "Here you go Lord Borr," she smiled softly, grabbing a comfortable chair for him - it was a good one that rolled.

"Would you like anything else, Water? Fire Whisky? Butter beer?" She rattled off things she had to keep from saying a towel. She smiled, "If you need anything sir, my name is Alicia."

Now THAT was service. "MY MY, perhaps the Ministry is hiding all its GOOD employees ALL the way down here!" Lord Borr would be committing THIS nice lady's name to MEMORY. The large man wiped his forehead on his sleeve and literally fell into the rolling chair. Unfortunately, his weight had a little more oomph than gravity and physics could handle.

Lord Borr's chair ROLLED out from under him and the very busy and very important man FELL to the FLOOR with a thundering crash. Spluttering, spitting, wild kicking, and flailing ensued.

"Are you alright?" Alicia asked, quickly running over to Lord Borr, handing him her hand to help him up - "Sorry about that, Let me get you a different chair." She smiled appologetically quickly transfiguring the rolling-chair into a large, plush and sturdy leather high-backed chair. The kind you would find in a vanguard office - beautiful looked antique but could be jumped on by twenty elephants and not fall apart.

She quickly handed Lord Borr a kerchief as well, seeing he had been wiping his forehead with his sleeve.

Lord Borr swatted the woman's hand away with his cane. "Don't be DAFT, woman!" As if her little person could help someone as gargantuan as him to their feet. Even that giant idiot Bole from MLE probably couldn't muscle Lord Borr's weight up. Lord BORR was a HEALTHY-FED MAN.

He managed to roll over onto his tummy and slither towards the MUCH more appropriate chair. It was slow moving, but LORD BORR WAS THE HARDEST WORKING MAN IN THE MINISTRY. Of course, he SUCCEEDED to pull himself up and take a WELL DESERVED rest in the chair.

"Thank you, thank you," Lord Borr took the handkerchief and dabbed at his forehead, cheeks, and underarms before passing the fabric back to Alicia. "I thought you were getting me a water?" Hadn't they already discussed this? WATER, WOMAN. "Then I have another task for you." After he got water and his breath back.

"Of course just trying to be a help sir." She smiled, knowing if she didn't help Alicia smiled as she disappeared reappearing just moments later with a pitcher of water, and a nice cup. "here you are sir." She smiled.

"Nice to meet you Ali-D" Esteban said looking at her! At least she was nice. He hadn't met a single nice person but Jenny, it was hard for him to make friends with his speech being so bad.

Then suddenly a man appeared out of no where! "Hola, Señor Esteban added. "I am Esteban. Is there anything I can help you with?" The man seemed to be important, but then again Eseban didn' know alot of people yet. He had been at the minstry for little while and still, didn't make friends easy.

"Its nice to meet you too Esteban!" Alicia smiled, taking a deep breath and calming her nerves. Smiling, she turned to Esteban and said a quick "If you need help around the office just let me know, i'm more than willing to give you a good tour!"

"No Señorita I have seen the office, but gracias." He told her, "I am excited for an assignment." Esteban added he wanted...no NEEDED to be part of the Ministry. He was going to climb his way to the top...okay..well maybe not, but at the ver least he was going to be well liked by everyone!!

He was wondering how long Ali-D had been at the office, and why he hadn't noticed her before, probally because he did alot of work outside the office before he actually decided to come in.

"Oh I understand that," Ali laughed softly, chuckling softly more like it. She looked over to him, and said a quick, "Well if you ever need some help let me know I'm in British seats but I have connections to the French department as well because I can speak and read the french language." She smiled, he seemed like a nice guy, honestly sincere about trying to learn about the department he was assigned to.

Lord Borr drank a FULL glass of water and slowed his laboured breathing to a steady wheeze. When he finished, the WORKERS were SOCIALIZING right before his VERY eyes.


"Stop this incessant chatter! No time to waste! I have a JOB for you!" The very busy man patted into his jacket and produced a slightly damp stack of posters.




He handed a stack to the man, and a stack to the woman. What was her name again? "I need you to go Diagon Alley. Pass these out on your way to Wiseacres Wizarding Equipment. And don't you DARE DAWDLE and take breaks! You're go to STRAIGHT there and rent or buy a tent for THIS event." His pudgy finger prodded at the stack of posters he'd just handed off to the woman.

Esteban looked at the flyer. "Is this for you?" He asked the man, realizing that was probally a stupid questions. But then again, Esteban did not know who the man was! "I have never been to this shop before!" Esteban added with a smile, "Ali-D shall we go?" Esteban asked all excited to finally be given a task for his job. Given a task that requried him to leave the ministry while he was at it. What a great day this was turning out to be!

"Of course lord Borr," Ali smiled, turning to Esteban she smiled "yes would you aparate or floo network?" She asked biting her lip. Floo network could get a little crazy with ending up in the wrong fireplace. Especially if it were a muggle's.

"Don't take no for an answer! IF the lazy shopkeeper doesn't have a tent, MAKE THEM ORDER one! This is TOO important for you to fail!" were Lord Borr's parting words as the two workers set straight out. He DID enjoy SWIFT employees. Lord Borr poured himself another cool glass of water.

Camila glanced up from her papers when the purple leaflet entered, "What now?" She thought grumpily. She had stacks and stacks of papers infront of her and she had to get done with them. She got up from her desk and walked towards the leaflet, skimmed through it. Hmmmm .. what does this mean? Well nothing mattered other than her getting through the papers. She wandered back to her desk and resumed working.

Camila was very immeresed in her work that she didn't notice a someone entering their work area untill she heard some shouting. She looked up from her papers angrily and saw a man, who was old and fat and seemed to think that he owned the place .. She frowned, now who was he to shout around like this? Trying to conceal her anger she got up again and walked towards him.

"Excuse me, can you kindly stop shouting. I'm working here." She said, in the politest tone she could manage through her anger.

Esteban returned to the office after his event in Diagon Alley. Ali-D and himself had gottent he tent for Lord what's his name. Esteban couldn't remember for the life of him. And now what...were they suppose to wait for him here, or go to his office and tell him. Esteban wanted something else to do now. But what. "Ali-D do you know what we are suppose to do next?" He asked her going over to his desk and looking at a few memos that had come in. "I'm guessing we are inviting many of the other countries Minsters of Magic as well." He said thinking ahead of the game.

What in Merlin's Beard!

Before she could talk to her new employee a very large man came in spouting orders to HER employees.

"Mister Borr..." Gina said looking at the man. She wasn't going to call him Lord... Who went by Lord these days? "I don't believe we've been introduced. Gina Latorta, Department Head of Magical Cooperation." She said and extended her hand. "My staff and I will try to assist you on this, but in the future, my very busy staff has other duties to work on." She told him. "Therefor, you may want to ask me if we have time for your... requests."

Esteban having just gotten back from his trip to Diagon Alley looked at the new women he had seen only a couple times before. He smiled at her, "You must be the Department Head." Esteban said thinking he was REALLY glad that he had spoken English rather than Spanish. "I'm Esteban Rivera, new employee here. Well knew to this department anyway." He added thinking it was best to get to know EVERYONE in the department...including the department head.

Ali looked up to Esteban and smiled, "I'd assume so, but we should converse with Mrs. Latorta." she smiled.

She then placed her bag with the tent in it down. And shot Berty Borr a quick smile one that read I'm exhausted don't ask me to do anything more because I will talk to my department head. She then turned back to her desk, and sat down immediately going through the pamflets she was supposed to send to the other countries ministry departments.

J.J. Starr startled when he looked up and saw it was Lord Borr. "Everyone, my best friend Jason Potter Wesley was at Hogwarts when Lord Borr was there" Joe Jon Montcenaggio said to them. " I am going to be tuthful, Jason owled me every other day and told me how unpleasant most of the Ministry appointed teachers took over and it turned into a split campus of boys and girls" J.J. explained to them. " This is why that the new minister had been voted in because if her niceness plus she let HogWarts go back to HogWarts." he told everyone. J.J. laughed out loud. "Sorry, my bad, I just remebered what Jason told me all the kids called Lord Borr" Joe Jon Montcenaggio smiled.

Alicia looked up at Jasons comment and took a quiet step over "So what did all the students call him?" She asked raising an eyebrow she was honestly intrigued. After all maybe Lord Borr wasn't the best person to work with after all.

Esteban listen to the man. He must be the own he met in the Cafeteria a few moments ago. He had mentioned this to him already. "Maybe the Senor has changed." Esteban told him, he wasn't one to judge a book by it's cover. After all he didn't know who this Lord, what's his face, was anyway. Esteban was more than willing to give him a chance. "We'll have to wait and see" He added again.

Hearing what Esteban said, made Alicia smile. "You know what Esteban, that's a great way to look at it. For our sakes, lets hope he changed because its always a great show of character when you do!"

" Well just subtract one "r" from his last name and add an "e" to the last name, then you have what all the students calles him in sxhool" J.J. Starr told Alicia." I guess we are working with him right now" Joe Jon Montcenaggio said to Alicia. " Oh wejj" J.J. sighed.
OOC- Ministry name is not Jason, it is Joe Jon Montcenaggio aka J.J. Starr. All his freinds call him J.J. Starr.

" " I hope he has changed" J.J. Starr told Esteban. " Did you see how he ordered all of us around and he is not even our biss: Joe Jon Montcenaggio explained to Esteban. " Of course from what I heard and now I see, Lord Borr has not changed" J.J. said to Esteban.
