Always have been a huge fan of the Addams family as well!
The Netflix show was soooooo good!!! I enjoyed every bit of it! my fave characters are Enid {HER BUBBLINES!!!!!} and Thing because he's so loyal.

I think there will be a S2 because it's the most watched English show on Netflix, surpassing Stranger Things.

I love how they did thing. It is weird to say because you are talking about a hand only, but the chemistry between Thing and Wednesday is just perfect.

I know there is many thoughts on Gomez, so what are your thoughts? I have mixed feelings. Many are saying because of his looks, because my mixed feelings aren't the looks. I think his look was fine, I just wasn't impressed with his acting.

So we just started Wednesday this weekend and oh my gosh it is so good!!! Obsessed! I would have binged the whole thing last night if work didn't have to be a thing. I'm also really glad to have seen Jenna Ortega get a role like this to really showcase her skill. I think she was highly underappreciated in her previous roles, because she is an excellent actress!

In regards to Gomez, I honestly don't have any problem with him. But what I don't like, is the cast combo of Gomez and Morticia. Individually, they're probably fine but together? Not so much. They don't have any chemistry, which is a let down considering Gomez and Morticia Addams are one of the most magnetic TV couples.

That scene where Thing got into that bit of trouble... my gosh. I legit cried. I really adore Thing. The actor who portrayed him really had quite the job! The behind the scene pictures prove that.

I really have no problem with Luis Guzmán. I'm probably being biased because I know him from other shows... but yeah xD

CAN WE TALK ABOUT WEDNESDAY & ENID'S FRIENDSHIP?

At first I wasn't digging their friendship, because it just didn't seem like a Wednesday thing, but then when I started talking about how in previous shows/movies it's always just the family you see, not really the interactions with her day to day, even the cartoon movie has her becoming friends with someone, but not to this extent of living with the person as a roommate I started loving it. I think it is the best part of the show at times.

Okay, so I just finished season 1, and this is one of those moments when I finish a show, and I just sit there in awe. I honestly didn't think I'd like it when I first heard about it, but it's now one of my favorite shows! Somebody told me the other day that they didn't really think they'd want to watch something with The Addams family, just because they were not really a fan anymore. I told them that whether or not you enjoy TAF, that's kind of a background thing and not really a focus? Not sure if I am explaining that correctly.

Anyway, from the moment they showed that Gates family photo, and someone mentioned that Laurel had drowned but not been recovered, I pretty much decided that she was behind this somehow. Really didn't see the whole Tyler thing coming until the last minute, though.

Anyway, one moment I just loved was at the end of the last episode when Enid ran to Wednesday and hugged her, and Wednesday hugged back. It was such a profound moment for me, because Wednesday's not a hugger, but I kind of felt every emotion behind that moment. It was awesome!

Anyway, I need season two to come out TONIGHT, lol!

I was very much blind sided by Tyler, maybe not because I was just being dumb and not seeing signs, but I enjoyed him so much that I couldn't wrap my head around him not being so good.

I am so glad they are doing another season!

What do you think we might see in that season?

Ooh, this was my favorite scene too. It was just perfect that Wednesday returned her hug, after all the other times where she mentioned not doing hugs. You can tell how much she really loves Enid. I think I cried when it happened, that's how touching it was. (My second favorite scene is probably either the dance that everyone loves or the part where Tyler shows Wednesday Legally Blonde. )

We need season 2 so much. I'm just happy knowing it's coming, the excitement in the fandom is really great.

While I liked the show, I felt the creators didn't do their due diligence. If you set a show in a state that very much exists, make up a town name and reference another place saying, "It is near Jericho." I know that when I saw signage in one of the scenes that established the town where Pilgrim World was as being Jericho, Vermont, it took me out of the show entirely. This is because Jericho, Vermont, exists and is along the Winooski River. Establishing the town of the show there also has led to a lot of news articles falsy claiming that there isn't a Jericho, Vermont.
