Hunter blinked. What had happened? All he knew was that he was on the floor and Addie and some man he didn't recognize were staring at him. "whahapohmyhead". Not the most intelligent thing he'd ever said.

He quickly got up, only swaying slightly. "What happened?" Wow, no one had told him this job was going to be dangerous. Then again, all research had it's dangers. All he remembered was a pathetic attempt to fix the time turners. Which had obviously not worked. Eck.

"For some reason, the time turner exploded." Addie shrugged. She didn't let on that she was genuinely concerned. That would be more embarrasing.
"Hunter, this is Patrick Moran. He's another new person." She looked at Patrick.
"We're all about new here." She smiled.

Hunter nodded in understanding, his memory coming back now. "Right. So, obviously that was not the way to do it. Ah well. Through trial and error, we discover great things", he said brightly, brushing off his robes. He was a bit embarrassed, of course, but trying very hard not to show it. And goodness, did she say they had a new employee? How delightful!

"Patrick Morgan? I'm Hunter Grey. Please forgive me lying on the floor for your arrival. I'm usually much more polite", he said attempting to joke, but not quite getting a hang of it.

Patrick Smiled at Hunter. ''Oh it's alright..That's Moran by the way. Not Morgan Heheh'' He said with a smirk on his face. He walked over to whatever was left of the Time Turner and examined it. ''Well, I can't say for sure what caused this explosion but i know that something inside caused a chain reaction resulting in a crack in the time turner itself witch then grew into a tiny hole, Causing a tremendous release of Magical energy. This never would have happened if they didn't stuff this much energy inside these things...Faulty Time turner did this''
He explained. He looked up at Hunter and said ''How's yer eye doin'?''

Hunter blinked as Patrick explained what had caused the time-turner to react so violently. How in Hades did he know that? More importantly, why did Hunter not know that? "You're obviously very familiar with these. Where did you -"

A piercing wail interrupted Hunter's question. He flinched as it filled the room. What the devil was going on now? He looked around quickly, trying to locate the source of the horrible noise. It did not take long at all. In the corner of the room, was an infant. He couldn't be more than 9 months old. But where on earth did he come from? And why did he look so familiar?

''What the hell?'' Patrick said in confusion. ''What is that? a child? How did it get over there?'' He said seemingly not knowing a thing about it but secretly suspected that it had something to do with the Time room. A Time rift perhaps?
A Wormhole? I'm confused. He Thought to himself.

For a while Blake fell into silence. When the time turner exploded he shielded his face, and took a few steps back. His eyes shifted to the unconscious Hunter, then to Addie who seemed to be unharmed. OH. Wonderful. Hopefully Addie is better with healing spells than you are. He thought uncertainly. Blake Took a step closer, and tried to stay out of the way as Addie attempted to heal Hunter.

Blake was about to suggest going to find someone else to help when another man entered the room. It quickly became apparent that this new man knew more about time turners than him, Hunter, and Addie. He revived Hunter, much to the pleasure of everyone. The next thing he knew there was an infant screaming in the far corner of the room.

Well...they were in the time room, and Blake could only assume it was a problem with one of the time turners. Even so...maybe he shouldn't mess withe child, but they could hardly leave it to sit there and cry. Blake strode across the room, and crouched down at the child's side, and scooped it up into his arms, trying to console the screaming infant. It took a few moments, but he finally got the child to calm down. Cradling the baby in his arms he moved back over to his coworkers.

"Hey. I'm Blake Robinson. You said your name is Patrick right?" Blake greeted the new man politely. As he spoke he patted the baby's back to a steady rhythm, hoping to keep it calm. "Uhm..." Blake turned towards Hunter. "What are we going to do with it?" He inquired. "Or are we going to have to take care of him until we figure out where he came from?" Blake inquired.

Patrick looked at Blake and said, still with a surprised look on his face: ''Erm..yes. Patrick Moran is the name'' He stared at the infant in Blake's arms.
''I don't think it would be wise to mess with it too much. It just appeared out of nowhere and in a place like this i think we better not do too much. Let's just try to feed it and get it to quiet down a bit. The risks of having this child here are many. One even more dangerous than the other. Worst case scenario: We mess with the course of time and our world is either drastically changed or it could simply crumble'' He cotinued to stare at the child. ''This infant could be a connection to a future event or even worse: a past event. It's the same principle as with actually traveling back in time. Step on a Grasshopper and that Grasshopper wont be there to get eaten by a starving Shrew. That Shrew will then starve and wont be there to get eaten by a starving fox. That Fox will then Starve and wont be there to be hunted by a starving human. Please. Please be careful''

OOC: Sorry for the wall of text. I just felt that i had to get that out there

Though Patrick was clearly about seven years his senior, he was four or five inches shorter at least. Blake was usually a better judge of height than that...but he was rather distracted by the infant in his arms. Generally speaking Blake wasn't the type to disagree with people older than him, however, in this case Patrick was no higher up than he was. He was older, with more experience in this department, but at the end of the day they both answered to the same man.

"One way or another the course of time has already been altered. We can't very well leave him over there to scream. The least we can do is try to keep the child calm." Blake insisted, still patting the baby's back. Why, exactly, was everyone so scared of an infant? Even if it is Lord Voldemort or something he's not evil yet. He's a baby, and even the dark lord deserves to have someone hold him after appearing in a strange, dark room. None of this was his fault. And keeping the baby from screaming can't screw things up too much more...unless the parents of this child have a strict no holding rule. "So long as we keep him calm and in one place he can't hurt anything. But we're going to have to do something about him. We can't just leave the baby in the corner to starve and cry, and we can't send him anywhere until we know where he goes. So I'll keep an eye on him until we know what to do...unless Hunter has someone else in mind to be care taker?" Blake turned to the man in question as he spoke his name.

Patrick sighed. What had he gotten himself into? The child -Sure enough- Wasn't the least bit dangerous, but it could be an important part of history.
It could also very well be one of the Time Room Employees as an infant.
It could in fact be Anyone in the entire world or even someone from the future.
There was just no way to tell at this point. ''Hmm...We should still be careful not to alter anything drastically'' He said to Blake. ''We could try inspecting it's memories. Maybe that will reveal something'' He added.

Hunter listened carefully as two of his employees discussed what to do about the infant, but he didn't really focus too much on the details. Something was bothering him. It just seemed so familiar. Like he'd seen the little guy before. Or maybe pictures....Well, it didn't matter now. The important thing was to figure out what the hell was going on.

"I think the most important thing is to figure out exactly who this baby is. That might be able to tell us where he's from, which might give us more insight into the situation. As for the little guy, we'll obviously have to take care of him, but we should be careful about bonding. He needs to bond with whoever his parents are, not us. Who knows what'll happen if he gets some kind of attachment disorder." He looked at the little guy in Blake's arms. He sure was a cute little guy.

Baby had stopped screaming in favor of staring at the big person holding him. This person was strange. He didn't smell like his person. Or walk like her. Or anything. Where was she? She had been taking care of him for as long as his short memory served. Was she gone now? He then noticed his insides. They felt empty. And hurt. He wanted them to be full again. One more look around before he screamed loudly once more, flailing around in Blake's grasp. "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaugh. Gruuuuuuaaaaaaaaah."

Blake listened to Hunter and Patrick talk about how to treat the child. He heaved a sigh. What would they have him do? Beat the child a little bit? Just enough to keep him from liking anyone in this time? He couldn't do that, nor could anyone else. Messing up time was inevitable. It had already been done. This child had simply appeared in their room. All they could do was be quick about figuring out where he went.

When the baby started to cry again Blake turned the child around, his back to Blake's stomach, so he could look at the other people in the room. While the baby continued to scream, he jiggled it lightly, and tried to think straight. It was hard to do above the screeching.

"We should go to the other departments first, make sure no one here has gone missing or anything. If this is a child from the past, someone who works here they'll have vanished right?" He inquired uncertainly. But if he did that should he leave the baby in the time room? "The three of us can split up floors. I'll take ten, nine, and eight. While I check I'll make sure he doesn't case any problems down here. I've already started touching him. So at least we can keep him from getting attached to you two. You two can take seven to one. If it's someone that works in the ministry that would be easiest. We can figure out where the baby goes and put him back in place." He suggested, then glanced at Hunter for approval of the idea.

''Valid idea'' Patrick said and looked at the child. ''If that doesn't reveal anything, i doubt we'll be able to avoid any dramatic change in the destiny of this child or whomever is connected to the reason it is here'' He looked at Hunter and then back at the child. ''Cute little guy. I wonder how he got here..''

Hunter was very pleased. Very pleased indeed. Blake's idea was brilliant. "Perhaps you should have been running this department", he said half-jokingly, as he ran through Blake's idea in his head. "I think we'll also need to look for changes in people's appearances and demeanor. The fabric of time is of such frailty that a single event like this, even though the child will consciously forget the event, could have such a massive ripple effect that their whole future is forever changed. And the person doesn't necessarily need to be missing. They may just become duplicated, as normally happens. I think it would be best to assume, at least for now, that we have a time-turner that functioned as it was supposed to, though involuntarily so. If it looks like we're wrong, we can decide on other theories then. Oh, and it might help if we took a picture of him and ask if anyone recognizes him. And I think I'll take 1,2,3, and 4."

Baby calmed down as he was bounced. This is how mommy used to bounce him. It was nice. Feeling safe, he looked around at the other persons. They were big too. And one of them looked like mommy. He stretched his two chubby little hands out and reached towards Addie. "Bwah". For some reason, he couldn't get there. He looked up at the person who was holding him and smiled and then reached back out to Addie. "Bwah!"

Hunter dug around in his desk until he found it. His camera. It was old and he loved it because it took Polaroids. The best way to get a fast picture. He walked over to the infant. "Alright. Can you smile for us? C'mon. Who's a smiley boy", he cooed softly. And perfect. He quickly snapped the picture and turned to the group. "Eh, Baby talk is more effective than regular speech in getting an infant's attention. Studies have shown that infants actually prefer to listen to this type of speech, making it far more probable that they'll understand and respond correctly to what you're asking them to do", he said by way of explanation. He loved kids, but it was embarrassing to do that in front of his team. Now they'd probably respect him even less. Ah well. Immediate concerns shall be dealt with first. He quickly cast Geminio on the photo until he had three copies. "All right, so here is the picture. Let's get started before anything else happens."

Patrick nodded and took a photo. ''Right. Five, Six and Seven it is then'' He looked at the child and walked towards the door. ''So we're off then?'' He asked.

"We're off then." Blake agreed. He took the photo from Hunter, and stuffed it into his pocket. No need to bring a photo when he had the actual thing. Blake just hoped that the baby would stop trying to jump at the passing females. He could already tell that the baby was mommy's little boy. Sure, baby liked males enough, but by the way he was reaching for Addie, Blake could just tell. Hoping to distract the baby he shifted his hold and blew on the baby's stomach, then turned while he giggled, and headed out to go inquire about the baby.

"What you think little man? Think you can help me get this figured out?" Blake asked the baby as he headed out to search the other floors.

"Right, so let's all meet back here in about an hour and we'll see if we've figured anything out." With that, Hunter was gone.

Baby giggled when person blew on his tummy. It felt funny. "Gweegh", he said happily. Then person was talking to him like mommy did. "Dah!" Baby liked him.

The nine year-old child entered a room he had never seen before. He gave a huge glance at vrything in it. After getting accustomed to the place, he started jumping up ang down again. "Weeeeeeeh"screamed the boy ini a girlish way...

While heading to the next room (which was locked) Blake passed the time room. Inside he could hear some giggling. Warily, Blake walked back into the time room. Inside he found a boy, no older than nine years old, jumping around and laughing. Blake closed the distance between himself and the boy, and grasped the boy tightly on the arm.

"Hey! You shouldn't be in here. I bet you cam in with the baby though..." He grumbled, and glared down at the boy for a moment. Apparently this problem was more wide spread than he'd thought. You'll never leave work today. Will you? He told himself. "Alright. You need to stay with me." He told the boy, hoping he'd be compliant.

The boy was startled and was about to run but he was caught in the arm by the older person. "Let go of me you big meanie!"the nine year-old Daniel screamed at the top of his lungs. He keeps struggling from the grip of the older guy who caught him. This was not so fun he thought.

Hunter was about to go back into the room to check in and let everyone know he hadn't found anything, when he heard yelling. What now? He half-ran until he got there and peered inside. Oh my. Who was this boy now?

"Is everything alright, Blake? Who is this boy?" He took another quick look at the boy as he walked deeper into the room. He did not look happy. Not at all. He had a very bad feeling about this.

"Hey. I'm sorry for grabbing you, bud. But I can't have you touching things in here. It's dangerous. I'm not being mean. I'm trying to take care of you." He told the boy more softly, hoping dearly that he'd calm down and stop shouting. What was more, Blake hoped that the boy wouldn't break anything else in the room. They had enough to deal with when there weren't children running about breaking things.

Blake looked over at Hunter when he returned, and heaved a sigh. At least the baby wasn't freaking out like the older ones were.

"I don't know who he is but I bet he got out with the baby. There was another one in the Hall of Prophecy. I tried to take the boy with me but they got a bit defensive. Clearly they'd rather have the boy running around smashing things than get him in his proper place." Blake answered. "I think that the problem was contained to this floor though." He added, then crouched down next to the boy he'd found in the room. "Hey, I'm Blake. What's your name?" He asked the boy.

The little Daniel looked up, almost teary eyed and said, "My name is Daniel Henry. But my friends call me DH for short." He then wrapped his arms around his chest and sighed.

Tal walked into the room anxious for his first day, but of course he would never show it. He was the smooth, cool one. So he stood inside the extremely bright room. Waiting for someone to tell him something. Although he was perfectly fine standing around doing nothing. As long as he got paid.

DH had left the office of Mr. Wright as he pass the Time Room, he heard a very familiar voice. He thinks he had heard it somewhere, but he could not remember. So he decided to open the Time room and have a peek. He sneezed a bit and peek. But what is this? He cannot believe what is in front of him.

"Excuse me.I am DH from the Planet Room. May I know who that kid was? he looks kind a familiar." he said to the person holding the boy.
