The Law Enforcement Secret Campground |
Nicoli Vanhatck apparated to the secret grounds with a pop. Clad in surprisingly muggle clothes-jeans and a polo shirt-he stood out against the dark bark of the trees surrounding him. His pale skin reflected the natural light making it paler still, and yet the sun gave it a quality not usually seen. It was as though his face had stolen the serene beauty of the moon and contested the light of day with its purity. Nicoli slipped his hands into his pockets and walked towards the small clearing in the center of the camp. His hair fell out before his eyes and he grinned. There was brightness in this innocent smile, but there was also shadow. A multi-layered smile, sullied by memories of years past in his childhood. Nicoli sat on a log. |
Forrester apparated to the camping site. He still wore his usual Hufflepuff wizard robes but as soon as he noticed Nicoli he quickly changed into a black jeans and a yellow canari T-shirt. He noted that the camp site was surrounded by trees and that there was a clearing just at the middle, where Nicoli sat on a log. Forrester slowly moved along the camp site. Noting many small tents that he knew have been enlarged by charms and spells he would have set himself if they had asked him. On each tent entrance, there was a plaque of gold that hang and revealed the purpose of that tent, one for injuries, one for classes and so on... "So that is it?" Forrester asked. |
Rebecca appeared with a small pop, she looked around and smiled, she was wearing black trousers and a yellow top, much like Forrester's, she walked over to them "Hey" she greeted them. |
Catlin apperated into the camp site, she was so glad that she took the oportunity to take her test a few months back. Once the world had stopped spinning she noticed the others who had already popped in, looking at there choice of outfits she glanced down at her own which in true Catlin style was all rather gothicy. Deciding now was a better time then ever to introuce herself wandered over and announced Hi Im Catlin Scuto, Nice to meet you. Hoping that she would get a chance to sit now as the ground was still slightly fuzzy plonked herself on the ground and rested on her backpack. |
Rebecca smiled as Catlin became aware of her surroundings "Welcome to the camp" |
Catlin looked up as Rebecca spoke to her, "Heya" she paused for a moment then continued "thanks by the way, sorry still getting used to this apperating thing" she giggled slightly. |
Aaron apparetaed with a large POP! next to Becky. "Oh, hey this looks nice. Did you do this?" he asked her. |

Jaquline apperated onto the camp site, clutching at her necklace. She was still wearing her muggle clothes...jeans and a t-shirt. She had a bag with her. Camping? Oh great. Just lovely. Exactly my thing. She sighed and walked over to a group of people sitting on the ground. "Hello," she said, sitting near them. Realizing she didn't know any of them, she stuck out a hand. "Jaquline Whitewater. You can call me Jaqui, Jaquline, whatever comes to mind." |
Edward follows after Forrester to the clearing. Too many pine trees to be a tropical island. He sees Nicoli standing near the tents. Well, at least we'll have all the comforts of home, and lots of marshmellow roasts too. |
Going into the garden was about as close to nature Alexa had ever wanted to be in. She felt like a seven year old on a scouts camp. Abandoning any sense of maturity, she looked around the place spotting most of her colleagues. She couldn't understand the need for all the secrecy. Edward had been right, marshmellows were the tall order of the night. |

"Hello everyone I think we will be waiting for many others I guess" Forrester said. "By the way what are those marshmellows things everyone keeps talking about?" Forrester asked coming from a long wizards family he had never been proparly introduced to the muggles world, hoping that those things were actually muggles related. |
Edward smiles and throws a bag of large marshmellows at Forrester. "Ancient muggle tradition, can't go camping with out having a marshmellow roast. You put the those white thingys on a stick and hold them over the open fire. When they get all brown and toasty, you take them off the fire. Then you take two graham crackers, place two chocolate muggle candy bars on either side. Take your nice and warm marshmellow on top of your cookie and candy bar. Place the other cookie/candy bar combination on top of that and squeeze it down. You'll love them. Does anyone know some good ghost stories? S'mores always taste better with a good ghost story." |
Forrester laughed at the complexity of the marshmellow preparations.. "Does anyone feel like this is much worse than actually brewing a potion?" Forrester asked. "Well yes we will get to have fun but don't forget that the purpose of the camp is also to train and to train harder than anything else. So it's both fun and educational at the same time" Forrester revealed. "Now does anyone else have any questions?" Forrester asked. |
Rebecca nodded "Yes" she looked around "When do we start?" she asked with a big grin |
"We will begin as soon as Syd is here and the other employees" Forretser revealed. "plus I guess you are going to have the honors to go first" Forrester said with a grin. |
Rebecca grinned "Y'know, sometimes I love being the only woman division head in this department" she laughed as she looked around, eyeing the people she would be working with. |
Zoey landed infront of the campsite. She looked around and found an empty spot to pitch her tent. She decided that she was going to do it muggle style just like her dad. She quickly emptied out the contense of the bag and looked at the jumbled mess that lay infront of her. This is going to be harder than i thought Zoey thought to herself. She picked up two poles that looked like they went together and tried to stand it up. "Ouch" she yelled as the pole hit her hard on top of the head. |
Syd walked through the brush via a little path that had been worn in by frequent hikers. His hands were in the pockets of his jeans and his sunglasses blocked most of the upper part of his face. He wore a fishing cap and a loose, deep red shirt as he strolled in casually. This was something he had done many times before. Camping was always a good time... even when it wasn't. "Morning everyone. Nice to be out of the office isn't it?" |
"Good morning Sid. I have to admit it's different, and yes it definitely beats the office. You planning to do some fishing while we're here?" Edward could tell he's overdressed for this assignment. He takes out his wand and transfigures his clothes to a pair of jeans and a comfy sweat shirt and his shoes into Wellington boots. |
