Located off the Elevator Lobby, the Cafeteria is a large room with numerous round tables,lots of comfy chairs, large (albeit fake) windows and constant background noise. On the left wall of the Cafeteria is a counter selling fresh sandwiches and salads, while a range of hot and cold beverages (and junk food) is available from the table-top vending machine.

The table top vending machines work using a table-mounted menu of items. You touch the item you want on the list, then watch your head! as your selected item descends from the ceiling. The cans of Pumpkin Juice can be particularly painful if one hits you on the head.

A team of busboys (and girls, and possibly some House Elves) will clear your plates as soon as you are done.

Yusuke nodded and shrugged.

"I guess its natural?" he said, rolling his sandwich wrapper around on the table.

"Though maybe you can get through to her?"

Rider shook his head.
"No..its too late. Shes already messed up her entire life. And, i hate the boy that shes going out with. I swear..." he swore under his breath just thinking about the kid. The boy was arrogent, snobby, and a pretty boy. Rider couldnt stand him, and didnt see what his precious sister saw in him.

"Yikes... Well, I guess you turned out alright. That's what matters at this point," he said, sitting back and crossing one leg over the other.

"My nephew's a first year," he said. "Ravenclaw I believe. From the sound of it, your sister is in good ole Slytherin?"

Rider laughed.
"Yup...just like me and everyone else in the family. What house are you in?" he asked, taking a sip of his JUICE(and NOT coffee) and stuffed a chip in his mouth. He felt something fell out his back pocket, and saw his mirror. OOps. He was so embaressed. He picked it up, and put it back in his pocket. "Im..well, obsessed with my hair," he admitted, turning bright red.

Yusuke chuckled and watched as Rider picked up a mirror off the floor. Those youngin's and their fancy hairdos and their hip clothes, the old man in him said.

"Its fine. Sometimes I feel like I need one... My hair can get a tad messy," he said, checking his part.

"Though, I was in Ravenclaw like my nephew. Almost in Gryffindor, but I guess I was more book smart...or witty... one of the two," he smiled.

Rider laughed.
"I was a good student also..but i guess when i was a kid, i was a total butthead. I was all into that 'pureblood' mania thing...but i have changed...when i met my first girlfriend," he confessed, and he smiled weakly at what the man said about his mirror.

Yusuke smiled and nodded again. He chuckled at the mention of a girl.

"Oh really? Your first girlfriend eh? And what did she do to change you?" he asked.

"I hope I'm not prying like Ms. Clara Belle from earlier," he said, realizing he was acting a bit like her.

Rider shook his head.
"NO, no! Id much rather talk to you than her!" she said, rubbing his chin. "Well, she was a mud-muggleborn i mean, and she didnt tell me at first. She was all sweet and nice, and i finally went out with her. Then, on our fifth date she told me that she was a muggle born. I was shocked, and angry. Then i realized, she acted no different than everyone else, so being a muggleborn cant be bad! I think it was part of her master plan...we are still really good friends, though she doesnt work here. I think shes working at ST. Mungo's, maybe?" he told Yusuke. He was glad to have someone to finally talk to beside a crushing girl who couldnt string two words together around him.

Yusuke smiled warmly and folded his hands. If Rider could be changed, anyone could he thought.

"Well that's good! She showed you the other side of the community and you responded in a good way for someone who was brought up... well in a not so great manner," he said shrugging a bit.

He smiled again, "And now you know another muggleborn!"

Rider smiled, and nodded.
"Yes, i knew many at Hogwarts, but none of them really liked me. Imagine, someone not like me?" he said jokingly. He drank his not coffee, and frowned. He looked down at his jeans and converses, muggle clothes. He chuckled.
"Looks like i made a total transformation...im even wearing muggle clothes now!" he exclaimed with laughter. But he really did like jeans and converses...even if it wasnt wizarding clothes.

Yusuke smiled, motioning to his long coat and jeans. He too continued to wear muggle clothes even in the Ministry.

"They're far more comfortable than robes and all that other stuff. I was never quite fond of it. Its all just... so much. And it makes you get hot far too easily," he said, looking around the room.

"Ex-girlfriend", Esh said. "She's with someone else now. Also due to a mistake I made."
Esh smiled in a bitter-sweet manner.
"I've got no one to look on to help me with my dressing sense now and I'm looking for potential candidates", he said and laughed.
He turned to the new girl who had just arrived. She looked pretty, and he was taken aback by her.
"Um... hi. I'm Esh, security department. Pleasure to meet you", he said and shook hands with her.

Sophie entered the cafeteria. She had tried to ignore the rumblings of hunger emitting from her stomach, but finally gave in. She spotted one of her security guards and walked over to join him and the people he was sitting with.

"Esh, did the foreign ministers get through security alright?" Sophie asked, not really wanting to mix business with food, but it was vitally important that those very important visitors had been welcomed and processed.

Genevieve was feeling quite unlike herself. As dressy as her outfit was, she had never thought she would actually come to work wearing jeans. She guessed Russo's casual-ness had started to rub off on her.

With a sandwich and chocolate-chip cookie in her hand, she gracefully crossed the room and sat quietly down at a table by herself with a sigh.

Russo was all she could think about lately.

Russo looked at Lola with a very strange expression she looked like she'd had something rather unpleasant shoved up a random orifice. He grinned suddenly, thinking that this must have been what he was like when all of those girls were about, Genevieve in particular had reduced him to nothing but stammers and blushes.

"You don't look twenty three..." Russo said a little unbelievingly, she looked older than that, but he shrugged it off, as his eyes caught hold of the beauty herself. Genevieve. "Excuse me," he began, "Feel free to join but i've just seen the girl i can't stop thinking about," He admitted out loud as he began to sort himself out properly his eyes on Genevieve.

Russo was making his way over to Genevieve a lot faster than he expected and boy did she look good in jeans. He grinned to himself, the expression lighting up his entire face as he caught up to her, and sat in the seat beside her.

"You look stunning," He said, meaning it as he nervously leaned in to kiss her cheek, dark hair falling in front of his face.

Genevieve smiled at Russo and quickly swallowed the piece of her cookie that was in her mouth. "Hey," she said, happy to see him.

She brushed away the hair in Russo's face as he kissed her. She never thought she would like a guy who had hair as long as hers, but then again she never liked a guy like Russo before. There were always exceptions to the rules.

It was hard to say that Russo didn't like the look of Genevieve right now, he was also thankfully much more comfortable around her. He was not keen to repeat that mess of things. He smiled brightly at her, his deep blue eyes sparkling. "So how are you since i last saw you?" He asked slipping his hand into hers, hoping she couldn't smell coffee from his lap. That had been an awkward incident.

"Great, now that you're here," Genevieve said, looking down at their hands; hers so much smaller than Russo's.

"How about you?" she asked, unconsciously leaning towards him, her sandwich and cookie forgotton on the table. She could smell the faint scent of coffee on him, and could only imagine what he had done for that to happen.

"They aren't making coffee-smelling cologne now, are they?" she teased good-naturedly.

"Aha. Yup. I thought as much," Yusuke chuckled. "How did you like your trip there?"

He smiled, eager to know. He lived in America for quite some time and visited often, so he wanted to know how someone from another country found it.

"It was okay...i mean, their accents are funny, and they eat way too many fattening foods for my taste, but otherwise it was nice. I was in New York. Next time i go i wish to visit New Orleans. I heard its crazy down there!" he exclaimed, chuckling.

Yusuke nodded and laughed. He was fond of the food... though the accents were kind of boring.

"Yeah. You're right. The accents are a tad boring where I grew up, so I guess I can see your point there."

Rider nodded. "I would love to have a french accent, though, like my 'muzzer'," he said, laughing. Thinking about his mom made him slightly sad, but he didnt care.
