Someone  sneaks down the corridor and sticks this to the wall with the following message flashing across it:
Join us as we stand up for Beings and Beasts Rights!Don't give into the injustice. Stand up and walk out for what you believe. Herod walked into the breakroom and put his pile of files, coffee, and quill on the table. He was working, but he wanted a change of scene. He opened up his first file, laughed, and threw it over his shoulder into the dust bin. He opened his second, read it several times, and put it in his maybe pile. He continued for an hour until he went back to his desk to restock his pile, that had been completed.

Herod saw another employee come in and decided to give him a crisp wave to show he was congenial. He then went back to his patents. This one was very odd and could feel a "DENIED" stamp coming on very quickly. It was a patent for blast-ended skrewt candies that exploded in your stomch. Very surpisingly, there had only been nine deaths in the studies. The inventor must think that a good stastistic becasue he included it. Obviously he had been expecting a lot more. With a swifit and over-dramatic slamm, he stamped the big red DENIED on the file and folder and moved on to the next one.

With the patents office being remodeled, Herod sat down in the break room. He waved his wand and another stack of files that had disapeared off his regular desk reappreared. He started working. Today was not a good day for inventors. Several inventions were simply copy-cats of ohere inventions and some didn't even work. After he finished, he thought he'd go down and see how his bug eye glasses were doing down on level 3.
