Well Samantha Rose me with me a couple of times last week Theo and Dan" J. J. Starr said. "You have lots of employees here and she has lost a couple due to illness so she asked me to transfer to the Dept. Of Edication with both of yoru blessings" Joe Jon Montcenaggio told them. "Here are my transfer papers and just need them signed" J. J. Starr told them |
"See in this instance Joe," Theo said, "You should've come straight to me. Only I can allow you to transfer departments." He looked at the papers, screwed them up in to a ball, and threw them in the bin. "There are no openings in the Department of Education. I get a list every day to my office. So you cannot transfer. Next time you wish to transfer, I suggest you get the Head of Department you will be transferring to, to talk to me." |
Real Mature Theodore, did Alvin and Simon wad the paper in a ball? J. J. Starr walks out of office saying "I QUIT!!!" He goes to the first floor to tell Samantha Rose the good news. |
"You have nowhere to go Joe. You still work for me," Theo said. "You can't transfer until I say so." ooc: There is no transfer thing in place right now. But once it is up and running, you can transfer to Education. |
Ian walked into the breakroom, jovially anticipating his lunch hour. "Jolly good day, all of you! I don't know about you all, but I certainly am very excited to dig into this lovely bag of goodies I have recieved from....a....mystery, but credible source. And of course, my daily peanutbutter and banana sandwich is looking delicious as ever." He looked around and saw a Cluedo board sitting on the table. Well, of all things. Oh, Ian was so in! "Oh! Oh! I call Mrs. White! I call Mrs. White! Okay. I know the answer already. It was....Mr. Peacock in the Lounge with the wrench! I win I win!" He jumped up and down, clapping his hands like the strange man he was and....er...almost caused an earthquake. |
"A mystery, but credible source?" Theo said raising an eyebrow, "Has my wife been giving you things again without telling me?" "I saved you White already. But your little cook will not beat the brains of my Professor," he smiled, "And you are meant to say that later on. No cheating." |
Ian turned around to Theo slowly, as though he was a small boy being caught eating cookies before dinner. "Umm.....noooooooooo? Then, ideas whirring about in his head, he added, "No. See, she umm, she told you. Yeah. And er...you just don't remember. Silly Theo." He crossed his arms and nodded. "Anway," he said, changing the subject, "I thank you kindly for saving the cook for me. She's a lot smarter than you think, you know. Just because you're a professor doesn't mean anything. Cooks will prevail, I tell you!" He shook his fist in the air for emphasis, and turned to the game. "So whose turn is it?" |
Shylo grinned as Ian entered the room. "Hullo Mr Ashby, sir. I mean...Ian." She had a habit of calling her boss 'Sir', or 'Mr Ashby.' She shuffled in her seat, and sipped her coffee. "Sorted out the bludger insident?" She asked, smiling, before adding, "We haven't started yet." She nodded towards the Cluedo board. |
Ian turned toward one of his favorite employees. She always had been the hardest working and the most efficient....and the most polite. "Theo and I are still searching for the culprit. Keys are still trickling in...." He knew exactly who had not paid Theo a visit, and would be sure to hound on them later. But now it was time for Cluedo. |
"She didn't tell me. You liar. I can't believe my wife is giving you all my food. And me none. Maybe she thinks I am too fat already, and wants me thinner," Theo shrugged. "Cooks will not prevail. I think anyone can avoid their bribery," he chuckled. "I still have a few keys to come in actually. Then we shall see what happens." |
"You think she thinks you're too fat? Uhh...hello!" He looked down at his protruding gut and poked it...several times. It was like a light, fluffy pillow of delicious foods of years past. "Either way...I suppose I'm willing to share a treat or two...or just one with you." He fake sighed to give Theo a hard time, and continued with the game. "Oh, but you are underestimating the wileyness of cooks, my friend. He chuckled before adding, "except me." |
Richard entered the breakroom looking about from ceiling to floor, from wall to wall for any signs of cockroach. There may have been traces left from the roaches. "Hello, I'm from security, You havent spotted any giant cockroaches have you?" Richard asked the staff "I know its a strange question but its not random, theres supposed to be an infestation. It would normally be left to maintenance but these roaches are giant apparantly" he explained. |
"Nope, nothing giant here but my stomach," Ian said jokingly while patting his tummy. "Or at least, nothing I've seen." He looked over at Theo with a look that said, "You seen anything?" |
Isabella walked into the break room and found her sandwich. Sitting down in a nearb chai she began to eat. So far she knew no one except Liam and her boss Theo. |
"Well I have to say I agree on the giant stomach there Ian," Theo chuckled, "But no giant roaches. They would be dead anyway. I hate roaches, big or small." |
"You know, Theo, they say roaches could survive a nuclear explosion...I'm not so sure we could kill them..." Ian mused, while turning back to the Cluedo board. "So...er...shall we begin? I'm itching to exercise my noodle." |
"If you stamp on them they die," Theo smiled, sticking his tongue out at Ian. "Well now you are here we can begin. We were waiting for you to join us." |
Shylo smiled happily, and glanced at Alexander briefly, before rubbing her hands together. "Well then. Shall we start this game? Your roll to start, Ian." She grinned, winked, and then sipped her coffee. It was her favourite thing to do with her peers and staff. Playing cluedo! |
"Well, then, I apologize for keeping you all waiting," Ian said politely. He picked up the dice and began to shake it in his hand. "Are we rolling for play order, or have we just decided that I'm starting?" He blew on the dice to wish himself luck (a muggle habit he had picked up), and released it. It rolled and bounced and twirled about until finally landing on "THREE!" |
"Well you are the oldest," Theo smiled, "Therefore you should go first. Hopefully you won't die of old age before the game is over." "Move your piece then," he shook his head. "Or can you not count?" |
Samantha walked into the breakroom area, determined to get to the bottom of J.J. Starr's complaints and wishes to transfer out of the Magical Games and Sports Department and into her department, the Department of Magical Education. Looking around, she saw several people, most of whom were male, but she wasn't really certain which one was J.J.'s boss, Theo, as she didn't have an accurate description of what he looked like. "Pardon me, I'm looking for Theo," she said to one of them, hoping he either was Theo or at the very least could refer her to him so that she could find out what was going on. It was necessary for her to hear both sides of the story. |
Theo looked up from the boardgame. "That would be me. Theodore Newtington the Third. Head of Department of Magical Games and Sports." He looked at the woman, "And you are Samantha Rose. I have seen you in meetings. What brings you down to the Seventh Floor?" |
Samantha smiled. "Yes, I do remember seeing you in a meeting before. I suppose I was distracted at the time, my department has been undergoing so much lately, there always seems to be something going on. The reason I am here is to meet with you about requests I have been receiving from one of your employees, a Mr. J.J. Starr. He has come to me a couple of times and asked for a transfer to my department, and I have come to meet with you and find out what the situation is. Do you know why Mr. Starr is so dissatisfied with your department?" Samantha decided it was best to get right to the point, that was her usual style. |
"I would rather I take this somewhere else. Do you mind coming to the Conference room," Theo asked, hearing that it was about Joe. |
"That's probably a good idea," Samantha said, looking around and seeing how busy the breakroom was. "I will meet you there." |
