"Wanna talk about it? I am pretty good with solving other people's problems" she offered. It was a oretty good way to get a feel for the little guy.

Ronan was a little nervous about discussing cancer research with someone he hadn't met. It wasn't that it would be difficult or anything on an intellectual basis, but the subject was completely personal.

"Well, our department has been asked to research life threatening diseases and possible cures and the one I have been assigned to was cancer. It's going to be a little difficult for me because my mother died of cancer when I was 8 years old. Finding the cure will only make me upset because I'll know that I have found something that could've saved my mother if she was diagnosed with it now." he explained with almost no breath left in his body.

Dora listened to the man very carefully. Oh dear Merlin... pregnant woman here...

Dora started to sniffle and a single tear dropped her eye. "Tha-that is the sweetest and saddest thing I have ever heard." she said and then it happened... the uncontrolable sobbing. The man had reduced her to tears in the first 2 minutes of conversation.

Ronan felt a sense of panic as the woman began crying. 'Must be the hormones...' he thought to himself as he conjured up a hankerchief and handed it to Dora.

"Please don't cry so." he said in a coaxing voice patting her shoulder gently trying to comfort her.

He should have known this. Should had figured out so far. He knew women's Emotional Quotient was commonly more intensified than men's and this might led all those complicated situations about them. Whatever... He still was not able to decide how to approach Lilah but maybe there was even no need to approach her. Yet. ''Got it'' he said smiling ''The middle ground''.

Then he looked up, again, when someone else walked inside the room; this time anot man he had not seen before. It looked like there had been many new employees to the Deparment of Mysteries, another topic to wonder about : if there was any new people in The Hall of Prophecy.

And for his surprise Dora seemed to illuminate a little when her eyes spotted this man. Hmm... who was he then? He must have been someone interesting to get know. He nodded at Dora when she excused hersefl ''Ah, sure. No problem''. Hopefully he could bring out a few pieces for a full psychological profile without even having the need to talk to somebody. Just mere observation of body language and voila! The information.

Nevertheless in a few moments the air there looked like to change so fast in a sudden and one needed not to be overly observant to see this. Dora seemed to be crying. But as he observed the man did not look like he was thinking of saying anything insulting or else. Rising from his chair he stepped there without excusing if he barged in their conversation ''Dora'' he called ''Are you alright?''

Wiping her eyes on the sleeve of her robes she looked up at the man. "Th- thanks, I am so sorry for crying like this. I can't control myself these days, it seems." she said. As if on cue her haircolor changed yet again. This time it was something or a sea foam green color.

Dora looked up at RYan and smiled weakly. "Just hormones, really. I can't control myself. He said the sweetest thing about his work.. but it was sad too.. so I started crying. No need to worry. I'll be okay in a minute." she said with a weak smile. She was quite embarrassed by her emotional outburts lately... *haircolorchanging* Grrrr.... Teal now.

Ronan's jaw clenched when he realized his mistake. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought up such a serious topic." he said in an apologetic tone. He watched as Dora's hair changed color again and noted how pretty the colors were indeed.

He gave a weak smile and said, "Your hair really is a fascination."

Shaking her head Dora smiled weakly as she took the handkerchief and mopped hte rest of the tears away. "No problem, really. I am just a bit overly emotional is all."

Once she had regained her composure she smiled out right. "Yeah, my hair is a pain sometimes though. My emotions are shown on my head. I can't control it when I have a strong emotion. But the cool thing is I can be anyone I want to be whenever I wanna change." she said with a grin.

Ronan chuckled at the thought. "Must've been fun in school playing loads of practical jokes and all with the professors eh?" His smile remained as he thought of Dora as a younger girl taking the shape of her professors and sitting at her desk as if nothing were different.

Dora looked at the man and laughed, "Yes, well I didn't get away with too many impersenations at Hogwarts really. They had my number pretty quickly. It really helped with my Auror work though. It made up for my total lack of ability to be quiet."

"Being an Auror must be hard work." Ronan noted. "I commend you for your extensive hours of training and persistance because I don't think I would've been able to handle it at all." he thought of himself as too much of a free spirit.

"I like to travel whenever I please and I feel like being an Auror wouldn't give me that chance." he explained.

Ryan smiled back at Dora hopefully it did not look as bad as he thought wondering suddenly why he did overreact to this. She was pregnant and overly sensitive anyway but...but also it did not mean people around her should not be careful about it. ''That's good'' he replied her at least she was aware of the unusually intense flaw she was experiencing.

Yet, he could not help staring at the man when he spoke. At first place he observed him about a few second more than spoke ''I don't know what kind of figurative language you did use while bringing up that so-called serious topic, Mister, but i want you to know that everything you say that affects her also affects the babies in a more complex way. So please be extra careful while talking to her. Thank you'' Was this over reaction too? He believed not since he said 'please' and 'thank you'

With a half but meaningful smile he looked around the room, walked back to the coffee table to pick up his folders right after pouring his remained tea into the pot of a little plance on the coffee table. ''Now , i think i should leave. See you later Dora'' *short glance at the man* ''And maybe you mister''. And he left the room with slow steps his mind still busy with the term ''The Middle Ground''

Ronan sat there completely speechless and more embarrassed than ever before. He really hadn't meant to make Dora upset and he realized that it could indeed affect her babies but he didn't mean any harm.

"I'm really terribly sorry Dora." he said to the woman with multi-changing hair. "Is there anyway I could make it up to you?"

Severia walked into the break room. Seeing that it was quite full, she had to stop herself from turning back around. But then figured no one would notice her anyway. She went to her favorite corner chair and emersed herself in a new book.

"Actually I did my Auror training and work in the United States, so I actually loved the experience of being somewhere new and i got to see a lot of the states. And the training wasn't too bad for me... I guess it was in my blood or something." she said as she let her mind wander back to the good times in the Auror business.

She was taken out of the reverie when Ryan started to chastise Ronan for making Dora cry and possibly hurting the babies. She was touched by his show of concern and a bit taken aback as well. "Bye Ryan, and thanks." she said *blink blink*

Turning back to Ronan she smiled, "No no no there's no need for apologies. And no need to make it up to me. My husband may not be too pleased if I go traipsing off with a younger man... even if it is in apology." she said with a smile.

"Are your parents Aurors as well?" Ronan asked with a furrowed brow. It would seem that most people were connected to another Auror at a personal level for them to be interested in the work.

Ronan blushed at the thought of Dora's husband catching the two of them having a cup of coffee or something at the Leaky Cauldron and assumptions rising.

"Understandable." he replied with a nod of his head and a kind smile.

Dora smiled as she thought about the stories of her distant relatives.. you know, the ones that had betrayed the Black name and became something more. "Not my parents, but I have some Auror blood down the line in my Wizarding family. Coincidetally I share the same name as she and that is where my Metamorphmagus gene came from. Apparently she and I were cut from the same cloth so to speak." Dora said with a smile.

Laughing at the man's obvious embarrassment she put her hand on his shoulder and said, "I was only messing with you, Ronan. Let's have a cup of tea though, preferably caffeine free." Dora lay her hands on her little belly and smiled.

Ronan nodded at her explanation and realized that the pieces fit together. "You're related to Nymphadora Tonks then eh?" he asked remembering reading her name mentioned in something about the Second War with Lord Voldemort many years back.

"Non-caffeinated tea coming up." Ronan said offering the woman his arm to latch onto as they walked along to the Cafeteria.

Dora smiled and said, "Yes, I am distantly related to Tonks and the rest of the Black family. My mother is a pureblood Black actually. My father is muggle- born." She had researched her family for years and years, digging up everything she could. It was such a relief to find out that Nymphadora Tonks had been such a heroine... it made DOra proud to be named for her.. although her mother probably meant it as an insult.

Shaking herself from her reverie she stood and linked her arm through Ronan's and said, "yes, that sounds lovely, indeed."

Asher poked his head into the level nine break room, he was currently exploring a few places of level nine. He was new to the ministry and felt completely out of his element at the moment. He had gotten so used to rushing around a hospital day in and out he forgot what it was like to come in contact with a new environment.

He wasn't complaining though as he sank into a soft overstuffed chair. He leaned back his head and let it rest on the back of the chair. Looking at the celing he thought of Ziva and the boys back at Hogwarts. Are they doing alright. Are they having fun. When does Ziva get her new broom? Oh no! I forgot to give Ziva her new pens and pencils I bought her. Asher thought to himself. He sighed, promising himself as soon as he got home he'd send her the new pens and pencils he had bought her.

Montez walked into the break room for the first time. He noticed a young lady sitting alone and decided to join her. "Hello, miss. My name is Montez. Is that an interesting book you're reading?"

"Oh," Severia said with a jump. "Hello. You startled me. Yes, it is a very good book. I'm Severia. Pleased to meet you, Mr. Montez."

Jude Harrison walked into the Ninth Level Break Room with his hands clasped together and resting on the back of his head.

He began to pace back and forth trying to control his emotions. Why was it always so difficult with Pandora? He hadn't meant to set her off on a bad mood and yet it had happened once again in the Ice Cream Parlour in Diagon Alley.

And when she threw down the necklace, it was like she had stomped all over his feelings for her. Sure, she had apologized but this was hard for him. He didn't want to feel that weak ever again, so helpless and lost. It was a strange feeling for the 28-year-old who had always been able to fend for himself with no problem but when Pandora Fortunea had fallen into his lap at the Leaky Cauldron a few weeks ago, his world had been turned upside down, and boy did Ronan go for a ride of his life.

Running his hands through his hair frustratingly, Ronan sat down at the table with his sandwich and cup of soup trying to think over what he was going to have to do next.

Sensing a problem in the man that just walked in, Asher felt he needed to help. He stood up and walked over to the man at the table and sat down in another chair. "Hello. I couldn't help but notice that you're bothered." he told the man. He really hoped he could help in whatever it was.

Ronan looked up from his stupor and noticed that another man had joined him. He tried to smile weakly and failed by only raising half of his mouth looking more like a person suffering from paralysis than anything else.

"Yeah, you could say I'm having a bit of a rough day." he supplied looking back down at his food having hardly an energy to eat it.
