Rachel was gathering everything lying on the floor in her cubicle. She was bored, she wasn't liking this job much. `What are you thinking, it's your first day here!' thought Rachel. At the very moment Zoe arrived at her cubicle, asking for a stapler. `Oh sure, I must be having it around here...' Rachel looked in all the drawers and finally found it in the bottom drawer. `Ahh, here it is! There you are,' she said, handing it over to Zoe. Zoe looked as bored as herself. Reading the expression on her face, she smiled and said, ` I know, it is pretty busy here right now!'.

Alexis finally finish her poster by noon, and she wants to avoid seeing Mei Lin since she feels that she may be in trouble therefore she walks quickly over Mei Lin's desk to hand in the poster while Mei Lin was talking to someone else. Alexis goes back to her desk, then she sees still pile of paper works that she has to do and another poster that she has to finish. Work never finishes, but she loves it. She is so into her work that she forgets what happen to Belladora. But she decides to write a note to Belladora, but she is very hungry so she decides to go to lunch first, then write a note to Belladora. As she walks toward the door, she passes by Racheal, so she asks Racheal " How is Belladora now?, or she still crying?" Then Alexis adds " I was thought about buying a frog chocolate in Diagon Alley after I finish eating my lunch, do you think that she will take it?"

Rachel was speaking to Zoe just when Alexis stops by her cubicle. `Hi Alexis. Well, I don't know...she would still be feeling upset. Though, she might take your chocolate frog gladly. She would appreciate your generous approach!'

"Thanks for the stapler, I couldn't find mine anywhere." said Zoe. She then realised that Rachel was curiously watching her expression, it must have looked tired. "I know, it is pretty busy here right now!" said Rachel as if she had read Zoe's mind.
"Tell me about it, I have 2 piles of ads and posters I have to get through by tommorow. Looks like I'll be working through the night!" she said.
Alexis walked into the room and started a convasation with Rachel.
"Urm.. Thanks for the stapler. I'll see you around." Said Zoe.

Alexis thanks Rachel for the advice, then she quickly left the department for lunch. When Alexis comes back, she thought to herself that the soup is delicious, and the meat is juicy, it is really too bad that Belladora did not come with her. However, she bought Belladora a frog chocolate with a shiny cover outside, Alexis hopes that she will like it. She sees the pile of paper line up on her desk, so she does not waste her time, she quickly writes a note to Belladora, here is what she writes;
Dear Belladora,
I am sorry about mentioning the sad memory from Hogwarts, and I understand your pain because i had gone through too, although i never did tell you and i never appeared to you in Hogwarts, but now you know.
I hope this chocolate will help you feel better

Alexis walks over quickly to Belladora's cubicle while she still away, and she puts the note with a beautiful frog chocolate on her desk. Then, she walks back to her cubicle, and she looks at the pile of paper and advertisement that she has to do and finishes in three days. She takes a deep breath, she starts with the paper then she says herself that she may have to stay up very late today.

OOC: I know i'm supposed to be late but I just got my PM so it's okay to act like I've been here all this while!

Gabirella was busy making posters and ads for the Quidditch tournament. She hadn't realised in all this time that her friend from Hogwarts, Rachel is working in the same Division as her. She heard a familiar voice in the next cubicle. She stood up and went to see what the commotin was about, only to find Rachel speaking to two other ladies. `Oh my gosh, Rae! What are you doing here?' Gab cried in surprise. She couldn't believe that Rachel was workingwith her as her colleague now.

OOC: Since you only got your PM being late isn't actually an issue, therefore I wont pretend you've been here all along. My main concern was that up until a minute ago I had no idea you were in my division. Also you wouldn't have been assigned any work since you are new and what you have said your doing isn't the task that was assigned

Turning around Mei Lin spotted a new face, well most of them were new, but this one she hadn't seen before. Walking up to the woman she asked, "Can I enquire as to who you are? I haven't seen you before and as much as I welcome visitors or other people seeing what we do here I would prefer if I knew who you were for references sake." she said giving the woman a smile, not having seen the memo that a new employee was joining her division nor having spotted the girl who must have entered when she was located elsewhere.

Rachel laughed at what Zoe said. `You're welcome to borrow anything that you need form me' she called out to Zoe as Zoe left the cubicle.

Rachel smiled and watched as Alexis left.

Rachel stared at the new lady in surprise. She looked extremely familiar and she knew Rachel, but Rachel just couldn't remember who she was. Then it came to her like a strike of lightening. `Gabriella, what are you doing here? I work here! Oh my gosh, are you telling me that you work here too?' Rachel was getting excited. She pulled Gabriella into a friendly hug and then let go. `But Gab, you should know that you're late and Takenouchi-san's not going to like it!

Zoe walked slowly back to her cubicle. She used the stapler to separate two piles from each other. She tried to focus on doing more work but she couldn't, so she grabbed her coat and ran out to get some coffee. Not A Good Idea...

Alexis finally done her the advertisement for next week, and her paper works slowly become less. She also notices that Belladora may be still upset therefore she did not want to bother her. She wants to take a break so she decides to get some coffee in Diagon Alley.As she passes Rachel's cubicle, she greets to her, and she asks Rachel if she wants to come to have coffee with her. Alexis feels very awkward to ask her that, but she feels a bit lonely, she doesn't know nobody except Belladora. All her friends are either working in different department or another country.

Bella returned to her desk and noticed a chocolate frog waiting there. There was a letter attached to it. She read id and walked over to Alexis' desk. She said "I'm sorry, I just...don't like the way that Slytherins treat Gryffindors. It cruel how they fight. I just wish that we could have all gotten along". Tears were still on the edges of her face but no one could notice them. She smiled at Alexis.

Rachel stared after Gabriella as she hurried out of her cubicle to avoid Takenouchi-san. Just then, Alexis stops by her cubicle to ask her if she wants to go have coffe with her. `Sure, Alexis, I've had a long, tiring day of work. I'll come with you!' Rachel tells Alexis. She smiled warmly, sensing that Alexis was lonely here. `That was nice of her,' she thought. She walked out of the cubicle after Alexis.

Alexis sees Belladora's tears, she hugs her, and she wants Belladora to feel better, so she asks Belladora " Do you want go get some ice cream after work?" Then she adds " I know there is a wonderful ice cream place in Diagon Alley called Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, their ice cream is delicious and the place is very wonderful and relaxing, it's very good place to go after work and i used to go after a long stressing day."

Rachel was back in her cubicle after having coffe with Alexis and Zoe. She heard some talking going on in the next cubicle so she went there to see what was happening. She saw Belladora in tears yet again, and Alexis comforting her this time. `Aww, that's what you call friendship!' she sighed.

Belladora wiped a tear from her face and said "Sure. I remember before our thired year how we went there and Lyla over did the chocolate and cherry ice cream" and she laughed. It was good to have alexis back as a friend. She went back behind her desk and said "Just let me clean up and then we'll go to Floren Fortescue's.". She piled papers on her desk and started to clean up

Alexis is glad that Belladora is feeling happier than before, and the funny memory with Lyla really brings a happy atmosphere between them. As she is waiting for Belladora, she notices Rachel has a glance on them, she calls her " Hi Rachel, Belladora and I are going to Floren Fortescue's Ice cream, do you want come with us?" At the same time, she is excited for the ice cream after long day of work, and ice cream relieves their pressure and stress.

A skinny House Elf scampered into the office and stuck a huge poster-sized announcement on the wall to the right of the door before hurrying out of the room.

DEPARTMENT MEETING

When: Sept. 3rd (Thurs.) @ 8pm EST (Eastern, USA)
Where: Conference Room
Who Should Attend: All employees of the Department of Magical Games and Sports

*Conference room thread will be opened 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting so that everyone can RP their arrival. The meeting should hopefully take a few days to RP*

Rachel watched in surprise as a skinny little houseelf stuck a notice on the wall. Rachel silently read what was written then went back to her work.


Ooc: What time is that in India? [:30 Hours more than GMT]

Alexis walks by the notice board, and she notices that there is a meeting at 8pm, she is a bit angry because she thought about going to Pub after the work. She says " Dam! Now i have to stay, this stupid meeting will really exhaust me to death."

Mei Lin who was walking past Alexis sent the girl a glare, "I would appreciate if you not use that kind of language while at work, we are all mature people here and any kind of swearing is extremely vulgar. Also you have no right to complain as I know you have already taken off work without permission or at least letting me know where you were go. You are not the only person who will be inconvenienced by this meeting so please stop acting like you are the only one in the world who has other things they would rather be doing. If you don't like how this is working you can always try to transfer to another department or quit the ministry entirely." Mei Lin informed the girl contritely.

OOC: Alexis I don't actually mean anything by that spiel it's entirely in character and not my own thoughts . By the way your character wouldn't have to stay after work as RP time is different to RL time, therefore the meeting is probably taking place during working hours.

Prongs: Sorry I don't know what that is in India.

Rachel was thinking about consulting Takenouchi san about this meeting, as it would be her first one. But she stopped as she heard some angry word-fight going on between Alexis and Takenouchi-san and decided best not to interrupt.
OOC: that's all right, it doesn't matter if I'm a bit late now!

Kristen is surprised by the present of Mei Lin, she thought that she was the only one here. She did not want to disrespect her head, she says to Mei Lin " With all do respect Mrs. Mei Lin, I always make a very valuable contribution to this department so what is wrong to take a little break? Afterall there is no single rule that state "no break"

"That's true and I don't begrudge you that but since you've only been here for a few days I don't know just how much you contribute. Besides I said without informing me which is only really a problem if you are leaving the Ministry because in case I need you or if there is a problem one would need to be able to find you. Now I know this meeting may be a slight inconvenience it is just something that we have to do." Mei Lin smiled tightly at the girl and went to walk off before turning around suddenly, "By the way I would appreciate that you not call me by my given name, in my own country that is something only close friends or relative may do. I have informed the rest of the Division a well that until further notice when talking to me they must call me Takenouchi-san."

Cris stepped into the office, wondering if his other division mates were present. He noticed there was already a number of people there, and he proceeded. "G'day, everyone," he greeted casually with a smile and a nod, before he walked over to a chair and sat down, propping one leg up another. He wondered what this emergency meeting was all about. It wasn't every day such a meeting was called, and it did intrigue him.

"Hi," Mei Lin replied, smiling pleasantly at the man that just walked in. "May I enquire as to who you are?" Mei Lin was curious as she had not seen the man around before but from the way he acted it seemed as if he were an employee here. "If you came for the meeting it's actually being held in the conference room on this level but I told people to come here as I thought it would be best to have everyone gathered together and knowing what was going on."
