After having checked his hair over a dozen once in the bathroom mirror, Kaishu sauntered into the room like he owned the place. His guitar was slung over his shoulder where a bag ought to have been and his hair was looking and smelling especially fabulous today. He had added some mandarin orange to his avocado mousse and it made all the difference.

"Good day everyone!" he said in a booming voice as he entered the room. Already he spotted a few new people and some returners, but none of his little rangers. He was expecting some more to be joining the ranks.

Taking another scan of the room, he marched over to his desk and, instead of sitting down, swung his guitar around to the front and played a few notes on it.

Sigrid gave another nod, seemingly satisfied that her first name was not going to be blabbed out constantly, or so she hoped anyway, she would just have to repeat herself preference times of course. 'Ah well, one down.' She thought and smiled a little bit.

Sigrid turned to look at the new arrival to the room, and was a little surprised to see the man carrying a guitar with him. 'The Ministry allows him to bring a guitar? Wow.' She thought and took a calming breath as she cracked another smile. It definitely wasn't going to be all stuffy and snooty in here, and that was probably what Sigrid was the most nervous about...she couldn't always act all professional-like, she loved having a good time too much. But within reason of course, this was still a place of work after all.
Well, she was nervous about much more than just being somewhere obsessively rule-driven, but nobody had to know about that.

Kaishu flipped his hair a bit as he began to tune his guitar a bit. It seemed a bit off, which was reasonable considering that he hadn't played this particular guitar for over two months. He had been on a more acoustic guitar kick recently, but had been missing the golden days more recently. He was sure this had something to do with Charles leaving the Daily Prophet and heading back to work for the Japanese ministry. He had enjoyed having his best mate around.

He looked over his shoulder, pushing some of his perfect locks out of his face, when the young little miss had spoken to him. "New to the department I take it?" he asked with a wink. "Name's Kaishu Shiradou, Director of Environmental Rangers." And the man with the awesome guitar and hair, but that much was obvious, yes?

"Good day to you, too, Sir!" Kyle smiled, waving to the man. She had no idea, of course, who he was, but it was clear this wasn't his first time here. He was more experienced.

At seeing the man move his hair out of his face, Sigrid couldn't help but smile. What was it with the men around here? She'd already met a few with a strange obsession with their hair. But it was better than looking untidy. And she had to admit, it was cute.
Her face reddened slightly at the wink, "Er, yeah. It's my first day, I've only just arrived." Sigrid listened as the gentleman, named Kaishu, introduced himself.
"It's nice to meet you, Kaishu. Or do you prefer Mr. Shiradou?" She would have to shake hands with him later, it would be horribly impolite to just get up and leave Kyle. But for now, Sigrid would settle for just making it clear who she was, aside from a newbie. "I'm Sigrid Kestrel, but I'd prefer it if you called me by my surname. It's somewhat of a professional thing, just, you know...being addressed by my surname-" That and hearing her name too often made her think of an old lady. "I work as an Environmental Permitting Officer."

Sigrid nodded, "Yeah, I hear you. It's my first job working solely amongst wizarding folk as well. My previous job was at a muggle museum." She shrugged a little. It was a sweet gig though, showing people around, telling them the history and evolution of things....Golly she missed it sometimes, as well as her friends oversea. "Where did you work before?"
She smiled softly, "Sounds like a good idea. I just hope I can meet someone who works along with me in the same division. I want to learn the ropes from someone who's seasoned."

Kyle was glad to know she wasn't the only who had a previous muggle job. She liked the museum. One was down the street from her work place! "I used to work at muggle Zoo. I loved that job. The animals were so amazing to be around." She nodded, understanding exactly what she meant. "Yeah! I know what you mean."

Approaching the lady, Hermione breathed slowly...Hello, My name is Hermione, Hermione Malfoy - I believe we are on the same committee - the three R's...how do you do?", extending her right hand to the lady to shake.

Hermione had noticed someone else come into the office - she didn't know oif she was new or a returning employee - but she decided that she would introduce herself because they were going to be working in the same office and also it was good manners..

Just as she was walking over, Hermione heard Kyle greet the new comer. She was new to the office, just like her..

"Good morning", she said as she extended her hand "I'm Hermione, Hermione Malfoy... Have you been given a assignment or committee yet?

As Sigrid was chatting with Kyle, another woman approached and introduced herself. Sigrid smiled at the lady and shook the woman's hand and introduced herself as well, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Hermione, or Miss...or Missus Malfoy?" She faltered for a moment, worried that she may have offended the woman. Nevertheless, Sigrid continued, "I'm Sigrid Kestrel, but you can just address me by my surname. I'd prefer it." She smiled again and continued, "Erm...well I only just arrived. I work as an Environmental Permissions Officer, I don't know of any assignments just yet...".

Kyle chuckled softly as she nodded. "Indeed they are." The wolves and lions were acceptionally friendly and cooperative as well. The Gorillas were very smart and loving. She was happy to feed them and help them in medical needs. "What did you like most about the museum?"

Work. Not that Camellia hated the word, but she wasn't in the right mood today....she had been gone for some time with a reason, but just because she had that reason doesn't mean she can't show up for work. It's rude, unethical, unprofessional.

Plus, her mom, Leandra forced her to get up for work today. A good thing too.

So here she was at work. Checking if her hair was all right, and if her face had no indication of any frowns, she took a deep breath and smiled then entered the work room, noticing a few new faces. Had they started the application season? that's nice. New people to meet and work with! And scanning the place, were also some familiar faces she was relieved of seeing again. Who would miss that guitar and the hair?

of course, that would be her boss, wouldn't it?

"Hello. Good day." she greeted as warm and as cheerful as possible.

Hermione looked at the lady now known as Kestrel and smiled, "It's Missus actually, but please call me Hermione... It's my first day too!"

Hermione had a felling she was definitely going to like it here - the people here all seemed really friendly and welcoming - she was excited to get started on her first assignment.

World's not getting any bigger, but there's more of us. So, an increase in interaction with organisms that should be left alone." Her face reddened a little bit, "But that's just me. What about you?"

Kyle smiled and chuckled as she heard everything the Sigrid had said. She raised an eyebrow and began talking. "Well, honestly I hope we get to interact with people in other departments. That'd be really cool."
