Abandoned Building at 152 Whittaker StreetThe Minister's Office has temporarily relocated to this decrepit abandoned building. There are still plenty of charms in place to protect the Minister for Magic.
This is the thread where all important Level One/MoM-related announcements (both in-character and out-of-character) will be posted. Please subscribe to this thread, so you can stay as up to date as possible.
Training will take place on Friday, January 22nd beginning at 1:30 pm. Ministry employees should travel by muggle bus to get off at Aldgate bus station and then walk the remaining distance to the abandoned HMS Royal Arthur. After passing through the Regulation Office and receiving your visitors pass, proceed directly to the gymnasium where your training instructors ( Emily Browne [Hera], Aron Ashburry-Hawthorne [sweetpinkpixie], and Oliver Jenkins [Mell]) will give you further instructions.
At least one employee from each department is required to attend this special training.
OOC: this is meant to be a fun way for everyone to interact with each other while gaining some important IC skills vital to the current climate in the Ministry. While the announcement states that it is mandatory for employees to attend, think of this like classes in the School RPG. Participation is optional but we certainly hope you will choose to come and play You also do not HAVE to post in the Regulation Office prior to the gymnasium and can just RP arriving in the gymnasium pretending your character did so.
That being said, zero representation from any department could result in IC repercussions
The above date and time is purely IC. We will be starting training on Friday, February 21st around noon GMT ( 7 am on February 20th EST)
Extra OOC: Even though this isn't mandatory it's a great way to get your charries into the RPG and after the scene in the Conference Room Gavin says it wouldn't kill them all to show up! Looking forward to seeing you there!

URGENT NOTICE
Something, I'm not sure what, has been residing in my office for some time now. It can't be helped with us being the one to come into their habit wanting a new place to work however it...whatever it is has somehow managed to slip from my office into the Minister's. Surely we can't expect our Minister to work in his Office in light of this. I am asking that we all drop everything and report to the Minister's Office, not after the break, not at the earliest convenience but ASAP.

OOC: It's hunting season, just don't tell Harmony! The Senior Undersec has put off any and all tasks and would like your charries to report to the Minister's Office so they can take care of their pesky little problem. IC-wise it is mandatory so feel free to have your charrie show up grumbling or perfectly Professional. See you guys there!

ATTENTION!
As you are all the aware, the new locations housing the various branches of the Ministry of Magic were not meant to be permanent. After much discussion, the other Department Heads and I have come up with a strategy to regain access to the Ministry. We will be split in several locations, making attempts at entry. I would like you all to fall into place in one of these areas and see what help you can be.
The locations we will be working on are:
The Public Toilets The site I will be located at. There seems to be some kind of blockage. Any knowledge of how to fix this would be much appreciated should you choose to lend a hand here. Sidewalk and Phone Booth The visitor's entrance has already had several further concealment charms on it. If you choose this location you may also be required to assist with crowd control as well as methods of getting the booth up and running. Restaurant Across the Street The site that will contain explosions. Muggles have already been taken care of in this area, however on hand crowd control might still be necessary. If you do choose to assist at this site I ask that you exercise caution in the proceedings. Flourish and Blotts Fireplaces Be mindful of the books and the shopkeeper. She has been kind enough to allow our attempts within her shop.

Please do stick to one location as these will all be happening simultaneously and it would be unrealistic to have your character in four places at once. Choosing where you go is completely up to you and most importanly, have fun!!
