You couldn’t fault Allie’s altruism even if it meant giving up one of her precious pastries. With that being said Allie was absolutely the type to sacrifice her last morsel of it meant saving a starving fellow even if she did have a little grumble about it. It was definitely her inner Gryffindor shining through in the form of chivalry. “Aren’t they just? So bold, so brash, so.. over the top” she giggled. It was in Gryffindor she had found her home, her best friend and ultimately her soulmate. She also looked particularly good in red, even if she did say so herself.

The advantage of working in the main Ministry was that there was such a plethora of jobs from entry level fresh out of school all the way up to the most experienced. She was sure that her petite, confident fiancé would easily be able to find somewhere to slot into even if she was forced to work her way up. Besides, the advantage of being so close to each other that they can spend precious lunch breaks together was even more of a perk. Not that she was needy at all but sometimes their work hours crossed over with one another and free time could be a little limited.

The couple had made the decision, for now at least, to not have children despite the fact that Matty’s siblings seemed to be churning them out one after the other. It was one of the other perks of her job that she could hand those kids back to their parents and not have to deal with them twenty-four hours a day. “I hope so. I’ve not been there long enough yet to even consider asking about progression but hopefully one day in the future.” She understood Matty’s qualms. “That’s why I think you’ll do so much better at the Ministry. Life and work wouldn’t be so static and samey.” If that made any sense. No two days would be the same.

Oh how thoughtful! It might’ve looked like a chore to many but flicking through wedding magazines was absolutely how she relaxed. There was something so exciting about looking at aesthetically pleasing ceremonies even if they were far out of their own budget. “Does this mean that you are going to give me some input too without just going along with whatever I want?” She leaned into her fiancé’s side.
