"You know I can't sit there but I can walk you back inside and show you to which table," which was the best she could offer. She leaned in to give Emmie another hug before going to stand up. "Oof. Remind me to not sit on steps again. I'm not in my twenties anymore" she laughed
It warmed Emmie's heart just a tad to hear that she at least had auntie Amelia to go to for comfort and support in this big, scary, unfamiliar castle. Nodding she said trying for a weak smile.
"Thanks auntie! I'll see if your right about the ravenclaw students...If they end up being mean though, you'll help me right?" She thought she had heard someone say that every house had a headperson, but Emmie didn't know who that was for her new blue house.
Emmie leaned in just a minute for another hug before she stood up by her aunties side. Stroking away the last lingering tear she tried to perk up.
"I think I'm ready. We can go back inside to eat now auntie." Finally a smile formed on Emmie's lips.
"You aren't that old auntie. You're as old as auntie Laurel and uncle Aaron aren't you?"
