Isaac (Call Me Ike) Caractacus Budge was most excited for today's little experiment, most excited indeed. He was just doing a few last minute checks, making sure the potions were all there, un-straightening some of the empty cardboard boxes, and nabbing a quiche or two from the table while he still could.
Looked like they were all set! Ike was practically vibrating with anticipation. He took off the glasses he wore on his face - an important distinction, as he also had a pair propped on top of his head, nestled in his wild, flyaway hair, and a pair hanging around his neck on a multicoloured cord - and cleaned them on his robes. A man slightly on the shorter side of average, he had dark brown hair streaked with grey and a mature but unlined face, and it was difficult to estimate his age. He often lost track himself.
