Leading the child Mary Muldoon, Sagni began the long march down the corridor, which sloped downward in lowlight. Some of the children that came here, Sagni knew, got a little spooked by it. Well she wasn't here to reassure them.

"Stay close! Stick by me." Not that she could get lost here - it was simply one long corridor after all, but the goblin would have no patience if this one tried to wander off, or lingered overlong.

When they did finally reach the bottom of the long corridor, after a ten minute trudge further and further underground, with the hand holding the girl's key, Sagni gestured at the tracks and the goblin carts with a flourish, then opened the little gate for the girl to get inside the cart.

"Get in, keep your hands inside or you might lose them."
