As you reach any entrance to the stands, a golden turnstile magically materializes out of thin air to effectively block your path. You cannot go around the turnstile and using magic on them will not have the slightest effect. If you wish to enter the stands, you need to pay a flat fee of 5 galleons for adults and alumni and 2 galleons for students to get in. Insert the money into the hole on top of the turnstile; the turnstile will then unlock and will allow you to pass through and climb the stairs to the stands...
...Welcome to the stands!
Grab a front-row seat in the house section of your choice and cheer on the House Quidditch teams as they battle for the Quidditch Cup!
Please remember to follow the school rules; rule-breakers will be punished by means of house point loss and/or detention.

By now Cassia was used to attending Quidditch matches. But what she wasn't used to is Professors playing. So after getting dressed she had to sell one of her beloved items to a girl. Because not surprisingly they had to pay to get into the stands. And she was broke just like the school. Or because of the school probably, so you don't see her wandering around as usual. But this occasion was important so she borrowed the rest of the fee from West and made a memo to pay him back and took off towards the stands. Once there, she inserted the five galleons with pursed lips. Not cool.
Automatically heading to HER spot of the stands she settled and blinked at the zero population around her. Where were the people? She was excited to see how Professors were going to play. Like it'd be fun if one of them fell off their broom. And was the Headmistress playing? If so lucky for her players wear helmets…….that cover hair wigs.
She sat waiting for the game to start with her hands folded. She had cheering to do. Theo, Kat and the captain were playing. So were other friends such as Mo. And she'd be cheering for all the students because it was against the Professors. Not because she didn't like the professors but it was common sense.
So, where were people, hmmm?

The quidditch match was easily the talk of the school. Students taking on staff. Who wouldn't miss it? As she made her way through the grounds and towards the stands, she replayed all that she knew about quidditch. Tugging at her robes and grinning for unknown reasons, she near the entrance of the stand.
And here she thought she could just walk in. Silly Amara. The turnstile did materialize out of thin air. She let out a low groan. What? They had to pay for this too? She eyed the sign and it said.....
GOOD LORD MERLIN! IT SAID WHAT?
5 galleons....HEY, 10 for adults.
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?
She knew just what they were thinking. YEAH, who wouldn't miss this match? Everyone would come to see it and Hogwarts could just get richer by a single day with all the galleons floating in. Grumbling, she picked 5 galleons from her money bag that she now carried everywhere around the castle. She knew something like this would surely happen and she didn't want the first day experience to repeat itself. Not with no Natasha to come up with the coins.
She inserted the galleons one by one into the turnstiles, cursing as she did. She didn't really want to spend the money she earned with the ashwinder eggs this way. NO, she did not. But what could she do? She wanted to see the match so badly. And now, now. What a brilliant plan, Hogwarts.
After the turnstile disappeared, she walked into the stands with low spirit. She looked around. There wasn't anyone in the vicinity, except a single girl. Had everyone backed off seeing the turnstiles? Were they the only ones stupid enough to make the payment?
Nevertheless, she moved towards the girl. As they did their waiting, they could as well get to talk something. Something to lift her low spirits? She was just hoping the match would be worthy of losing 5 galleons.
"Hello" she said, as she approached the girl. She also kept an eye at the entrance. She was hoping to see a certain Claw girl.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Jory was in a good mood as he headed down to the Stands. This was going to be an exciting match! He could hardly wait for it to get started.
He was almost to the Stands, when suddenly a turnstile appeared out of no where. "Not another one,'' he thought, eyeing the thing. But he shouldn't be surprised. The usual sickle? He stared. No, it wasn't! They had to pay five galleons?! Jory though that was a bit too much. But the staff had to pay ten galleons. That was steep.
Shaking his head, he placed the coins into the hole at the top and he was allowed to pass.
She was all bundled up in a sweater and a scarf, ready to watch the big student versus staff match. This is going to be great! she thought as she bounded towards the stands entrance. Let's see...I'll probably want to be front and cen...Ow! She looked down and saw ANOTHER turnstile in front of her. Seriously?! She had worried they might charge for Quidditch but she was hoping to be wrong. She sighed. It seemed she was not.
Begrudgingly, she put an entire five galleons into the slot and was allowed to pass. She had been excited about the money she'd earned in Hogsmeade, but now this was just going to eat it all up! And she'd had such high hopes for a kneazle or a retirement fund. Sigh.
But she would not let her excitement for the match be thwarted! She rushed over and found a seat smack dab in the middle of everything and eagerly awaited the opening announcements.

Hearing that Hogwarts held a Quidditch match, Gary decided to come and see it. Even that he left London since summer but it didn't mean that he'd never heard about the current issue. Yes, he read Daily Prophet. From what he had read on that paper, Hogwarts was on financial crisis. The ex-Head Boy wondered what happened to the students nowadays.
Walking to the stands, he noticed that the entrances were secured by turnstiles.
Oh my... GOSH!
10 GALLEONS! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?
Gary couldn't help but feel surprised. No, shock maybe. 10 Galleons wasn't that cheap! It's equivalent to 100 USD and it was his salary after working 10 hours (or more) in coffee shop. Sigh. So, this was the way how they earn money? Okay okay.. Hopefully this would be the last time. After dropping 10 galleons to the turnstile, the ex-Head Boy then stepped on the stands and grabbed a seat. Well, it was a little bit quiet and seemed like there's no Quidditch euphoria. Did they already know that they must to pay?
***
Finally, IT'S THE DAY!
Christina was really looking forward for Quidditch match, especially this wasn't an ordinary match. It's the student vs staff match! She'd never seen any Professors were playing Quidditch before. Excited? VERY! She beamed happily and walked to the stands. But again, she saw the turnstiles again. Oh NO! Don't say...
5 GALLEONS FOR A STUDENT? WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?
Well, money wasn't her problem, she had them in her purse but.. seriously it was toooooo expensive for a student! asdfghjklqwertyuiopzxcvbnm.... Ah... seriously. It seemed like the Hogwarts' monetary crisis was getting worse day by day. Sigh..
She couldn't complain much. Christina should now that this match was one of the ways for Hogwarts to earn money. Okay, she would pay. After putting 5 galleons, she entered the stands and noticed around. Wow, this stands wasn't crowded with people. Maybe they already knew that they needed to pay? Dunno. She took a seat in the middle row and waited for the match started.

If there was one match she couldn't allow herself to miss it was this one. How often did you see Professors mount a broom and challenge the students to a match??? Not. Very. Often. Exactly. This being the case she happily hop!skipped over to the stands.
Got set to hop her way up too when BOOM! Turnstiles!
Merlin was she getting tired of seeing those. Almost instinctively she pulled five knuts from her pocket and was set to shove them into the machine when a sign caught her attention.
5 galleons???

When it finally did, she bolted over to the snake and plopped down next to her with a grin. "HAI!!! Gonna be an interesting match. You know if anyone's taking bets??"
And where was Lottie? Didn't she want to see the match too?? Lex began looking around, wondering if the girl had already arrived and was sitting elsewhere because that just wouldn't do.

Indiana was verrry excited. Her first proper quidditch game back at Hogwarts. Of course she wasn't playing obviously, she was very to cheer. But she was so excited. She had missed the sport so much when he'd been at Beauxbatons. But now she was heading up to the stands, decking out in her ravenclaw colors. She hadn't been able to wear them whilst she'd been in France, due to not actually being in a house. But now she was back at Hogwarts she could wear them all she liked. Especially her funky ravenclaw shoes which she loved so much. She was looking forward to cheering for all her classmates. A staff verses students game was going to be very interesting and fun.
What wasn't so fun was having to pay to get into the stands. She sighed, staring at the turnstile. When she hadn't came all up here for nothing, so she dug into her bag, and pulled some galleons out. She popped them into the turnstile, then wandered through it. She really hoped that they wouldn't have to pay every time they would want to go to the stands. Shaking her head, the blonde went to find a seat.

You know, it was incredibly lucky Lottie went around with money in this school after the turnstile deal in the Common Room -- you never knew if they'll start charging to get inside the Castle -- otherwise she would've had to go all the way back and fetch more galleons. Seriously, though, 5 galleons?
TOTALLY WORTH IT TO SEE AIREY FLAMSTEED PLAY!
TOTALLY WORTH IT! GO FLAMSTEED! And Montmorency!
So, she had no idea Flamsteed could even get on a broom, let alone play. Surely she'd missed his talks in the Stands last term, since she was out in the pitch playing.
"LEX!" she exclaimed, taking the unoccupied seat next to her best friend. "Airey's playing, did you know?" Like, that was totally her reason for being here and paying up.
The match day everyone was talking about was finally here...
Clad in colourful robes, flags in his hands and face paint on his cheeks to show support for his brave colleauges, the librarian headed down from the castle to the Quidditch stadium. Upon entering the stadium, he payed the 10 galleons to be allowed to enter via the turnstiles. Anything to get Hogwarts back on its feet.
Making his way up in the stands Leo took a seat on one of the benches with good view of the pitch and the student's sitting below.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
So Oakey owled his Guardian, Harvey about the awesome event that was happening today on the Pitch. Before the regular season even started, All-Star Students were picked to face off against some of the staff. Best of the best he told Harvey. Get some early scouting done.
He came to the Stand Entrance and...of course....another turnstile? how much did it cost! 5 galleons! 5 galleons to see this happen! to Watch Ella, and Dylan play against the Professors, Oakey stopped and turned around before five galleons were shoved in his face. "Thanks Harvey."
Oakey went to the Turnstile and payed the fee to go in. As he reached the stands he looked for a open seat. There were seats pretty much everywhere open right now. So he grabbed one at the front.
He was sure Harvey would want a close seat too.
Hmm? A Staff vs. Student All-Star Match. Not a half bad idea. Harvey wondered if any other scouts had gotten the word about this and looked around too check if he recognized any of the older folk coming in.
Props to Oakey here for getting him this owl or he would have taken the week to Miami Beach...for scouting! Yeah for scouting definitely for that and nothing else.
His mind wandered for a bit, wondering just how many lady Professor's would be in the stands cheering on their colleagues, and just about how many of them were single?
What!?!?! What was a Turnstile doing here? he stopped just short of bumping into Oakey, and reached into his jacket pockets pulling out a satchel and dumping 5 galleons into Oakey's hands. "When did they start charging to go watch a School Sport?" He had heard that the School was charging fee's on the Students to eat and live in their Common Room, but for for school sports too! Fishing into the satchel again Harvey paid his fee of 10 galleons, to go up with Oakey. The Students here better be spectacular, and the Ladies better be stunning beauties. He sat beside Oakey and looked around the pitch. not half bad, He started to wish he attend Hogwarts when he was younger.
Now where did he put his binoculars?

WA S SHE A BANK OR SOMETHING!? she could not just put out 5 whole galleons!? This was ABSURD! who's idea was this!?!?!?
"THIS IS BARBARIC!" she loudly protested. STUPID & BARBARIC! She was a quidditch player, she could just go watch from the gates of her locker room, but she wouldn't be up high and be able to actually see it.
"whoever's idea this one was is an IDIOT!" she clearly didn't care. though she promised she'd be there so she put in her 5 galleons 5 galleons that she'd NEVER get back... she might not be able to go to the second session at this rate. she'd have to owl Her mum or Millie for more money. this was STUPID!
She walked in and went to her usual spot not minding to look for anyone to say hello. she just sat and folded her arms and waited. "ThisMatchBetterBeGood."
What a surprise...there was a turnstile on the stands. Of course, this was usual at most professional sporting events, but at Hogwarts? Benjamin sighed, and pulled his wallet from his pocket. Five galleons was a lot. More than he could probably afford, if he was being realistic.
He lingered there, pondering a day of skateboarding instead. It'd be perfect, if everyone was busy watching the game. He'd have the grounds to himself. He could finally get the hang of the trick he'd wanted to conquer for so long... And yet, something else weighed on his mind. He'd said to Lex he'd be there. He could let a lady down, could he? And it would be pretty fun watching the Professors play. Maybe he could think of it as a birthday present to himself?
Decided, Benjamin pulled out 5 galleons, and went through the turnstile. Now where was Lex? She had better be here...

THERE SHE WAAAS!!!
Lex beamed over at Lottie. Good thing she bothered to show up, she was expecting her to show up you know, it'd make watching the match even more fun. Also the beam was there because Lottie had just shouted. Normally, the girl didn't like noise. Good to see she had the game spirit! GRIN.
"HAI!!!"
She took a brief glance at the pitch before looking back at her. "He is!! So's the Headmistress and can you believe they're allowing Bellaire and Lafay to hold a beater's bat???" It was madness!! Poor Aidan, if they couldn't knock Dylan off his broom they'd probably just aim for him. It was in the beater's bible you know. Aim for the seeker, if that fails, get the keeper.

Oh and look! There was Mr. Kitridge! He'd taken a seat a bit further up but he wasn't that far up that she couldn't greet him. "Hello sir! Come to support your staffer people Professors..." She didn't know what to call them...they all worked together, he would get the point.
Nod.
"So how come you aren't playing?" It was rather curious. Unless of course they were being really literal and only actual Professors could play. That'd suck though. "Not interested? Better at watching than playing? AN injury maybe?"
So many possibilities.

Yeah she saw him looking around, probably looking for her? She got set to wave her hands around but fiiiirst, she took an extra look around. She wasn't about to call to him if he'd shown up with his cousin.

Minerva made her way down to the pitch. She was pretty excited to see the staff play the students. She was super curious as to which staff played in what positions and which staff actually played. She wondered if Mommy Hadley was playing, if so she would be cheering her on as well as the students.
As she made it to the entrance of the stands, Minerva looked and then sighed. She should have guess there would be these dumb things here. Looking at the price she couldn't believe her eyes. Wow that seemed like so much for a silly match between Staff and Students, but shrugging it off she dug in her pockets lucky to have brought money with her, because her usual bag was sitting in her dorm. Slipping the five galleons in, she went through and headed up the stands.
Was she got up there she looked around, some were already there, but Ethan was not. Shrugging he would come eventually, well she thought he was coming or did she get that wrong. She would find out now wouldn't she. Making her way around she stopped to say hi to a few, Jory was the first. She hadn't seen him much other then classes. "Hey Jory, you've been hiding on me again this term." She giggled a bit, "I haven't forgotten about our little challenge we made last term." Always joking and having fun with him, she was reminded this would be the last term to tease him. Well that wasn't what she wanted to think about now. It was only November no need to get sad now. "Excited for the match?'
Then she saw Mr. Kitridgegiving him a small smile, "Hello Sir, great day for a match. You don't play?" Well obviously if he was sitting in the stands he wasn't playing.
Turning she found the last two near each other and decided to sit kind of between them. Leaving enough room for Ethan and anyone else that would like to sit in the group. "Eliza, excited to be watching? Maybe taking up some pointers for your own team?" She knew Eliza made the team for the first time, and was thrilled and excited for her little claw friend. Turning her head and giving a big smile to the last but certainly not least person, "Arianawhy aren't you sitting up there with Oakey?" She chuckled a bit, were they fighting or was it because Oakey was sitting with some random adult. Hmm Minerva really didn't care so she didn't push any further. "So excited for the match?"

"Hello" she said, as she approached the girl. She also kept an eye at the entrance. She was hoping to see a certain Claw girl.
She always came early to games and always wondered why did she? She lost count of how many times she sat gazing up at the sky hoping for someone to come or even the game to start. But that wouldn't happen with no crowd, no? She really did come early.
However her thoughts were interrupted hearing a voice. The fourth-year look up at the girl who joined. A tiny kid must be a firstie, Cassia thought. And she might have seen her around but she couldn't tell. "Hey yourself," The blond replied with a smile. Though annoyed about her financial situation that was getting worse she didn't feel the need to express this negative feelings on the girl. At least as long as the kid behaved and wasn't the annoying type.
"Is this your first time attending a Quidditch game?" Cassia asked in an attempt to start a conversation. "I'm Cassia, by the way." She added offering another smile.

She saw her lioness bestie halting as the turnstiles interrupted the way. Then it wasn't just Cassia who was surprised by the fee thing. The snake waited for her friend till she paid and joined her. Grinning back at Lex, Cassia responded, "Heyyy! Not the best welcoming way, no?" She said pointing at the turnstiles. This year so far the students were only getting poorer. Or the students parents. Shouldn't school provide knowledge...Cassia didn't remember that schools were supposed to empty the pockets of the attendees. New trend!
But aside from that, this match was quite unique and mustn't be missed. "Interesting indeed! Who do you think is going to fall off the broom?" Cassia said with a grin. "I wouldn't bet on anything because I don't know if any of the Professors played Quidditch before. And I'm pretty curious to see them flying around and hitting flying badgers and quaffles." She said with a giggling tone like it was the most hilarious thing on Earth! Well, the pictures her mind played made it look like it. Like how old were those professors?
"But one thing I'd bet on, is that the all-star team is going to win," She said thoughtfully. "Also, I think the beaters situation is tricky. I don't know about you but hitting a professor is not something we do comfortably. They do control our grades for the rest of our studying time. " She said. For all the students knew the Professors would go for a payback for their loss using grades. Mhhmm. Cassia expected everything.
Then another girl joined and Cassia recognized her as Lex's other bestie, what was her name again? Oh Lottie...because Lex just said so. Smiling over at the Hufflepuff Cassia said. "Hi there," Because it'd be awkward not saying hi since Lex was sitting in the middle.

She was glad he wasn't playing because she had that feeling that the situation of Professors and students with bats was bound to end up somehow.....Not so pleasantly. "Hey, Sir!" She said cheerfully. "Who are you rooting for?" She asked. The librarian was a smart dude so he probably knew that his classmates didn't really have that chance of winning. Unless he wanted to stand by their side no matter what?? It'd be nobility of him.

Yup, Benjy was on his own. Garrick was being a spoil sport, and staying in the Common Room. Or wherever else he was hiding. Though, admittedly, Benjy hadn't actually gone and looked for him before coming here.
Too many stairs.
He also knew that if Garrick was here, then plans with Lex might be, well, awkward. So, maybe he was slightly relieved that last he'd heard, his cousin wasn't planning on attending today?
Spying Lex waving, Benjy's face lit up, and he waved back with a grin. It might have waivered slightly at the presence of Lotus, but it was more that he was unsure of the girl rather than anything else. She seemed to have, well, captured Garrick's attention somewhat since the trip to Diagon Alley. Not that it mattered - he was here to see the Gryffindor of the group. "Hey Lex! Thanks for saving me a seat." She had been saving him one, right?
The Staff vs. Students game looked fairly interesting to Ethan, especially since some of his teammates would be playing. But when he got to the stands, with his Ravenclaw scarf wrapped loosely around his neck and espresso in hand, he wasn't so thrilled to see those familiar turnstiles pop up in front of him. It figured, really, since nearly everything had a fee around here these days, but for this match? It wasn't like a professional one where ticket costs were expected..
But still, he dug into his pocket and pulled out five gold galleons to drop into the slot. Good thing he actually sold some of those jars of eggs last weekend. He made his way into the stands, green eyes searching the faces for a familiar one. He spotted one of his housemates nearby as he walked and gave him a grin. "Hey there, Benjy," he said, stopping for a moment. "Nice day for Quidditch, yeah? Feel free to sit with us if you want.." He inclined his head towards his girlfriend who he had just spotted in an attempt to let the younger Claw know he'd be sitting there if that location was optimal for him.. and if not, that was cool too.
He made his way a little further into the stands, headed towards his predetermined seat. He saw Minerva a little ways up, sitting near Eliza and Ariana. That would be a fun little group, he thought, good for conversation about Quidditch and whatever. "Hey, girls," he said to all three with a grin as he sat in the space between Eliza and Minerva. "I think this might be an interesting game.." He leaned back a bit and stretched his legs out in front of him, turning his eyes out towards the pitch. A good time, sure.. but maybe get a few tips plus check out his competition..

He had to pay 5 galleons....well if he wanted to see the match, he would have to pay it. He reached into his jean pocket and took out 5 galleons and paid the toll. Once he paid it, he was in the stands.
It was quite chilly up here, good thing he brought his hat. He gripped it tightly and managed to find a seat. He saw Minnie in the stands and he waved to her. He saw people from other houses in the stands too but he wasn't feeling too confident in introducing himself yet.
He was excited to see the match between students and professors. He wondered how this was going to play out. He was going to root for the students of course but maybe if he wanted a good grade he would root for the professors as well. Could be a possibility?
He sat down in the stands alone, waiting to see what was gonna happen.
This was so weird. Being back at school as an alumni and not a student. Sure, it had only been a few months since Selina bad graduated, but she could already feel the divide between herself and the people in the stands. The redhead was a grown up person now with her own job, her own flat and her own roommate. Life changed so rapidly. It was icky.
Brushing that aside, she paid the admission fee, WHICH WAS SO BOGUS BY THE WAY, and made her way up to the stands to slip in and watch the game. She had some ickles in today and tomorrow's game. And she wasn't going to not watch them play. Hence her being there. So the eighteen year old had taken the weekend off to see her old classmates beat her old Professors bums. Whip them into next week.
Choosing her old seat on the stands, she settled in and got ready to watch. Come on Hogwarts people!
This was soooooooo boring. Pfft. Ascanius just wanted to hang out in the castle and do something that did NOT involve being a billion meters off the ground. Yeah? He had done enough of being in the stands yesterday to be free of if for the rest of his life.
But no, he was here. In the ruddy stands, up too high for his own liking, and being subjected to watch this match. Pen was all cute!face come watch the match with me. And he couldn't say no. Well, he could, but he was a charming, attractive guy. That just wouldn't have befitted his character. Smirk.
So he paid the admission fee with some money he had nicked from someone in the Common Room, Essex skills, and sat a reasonable height off the ground. The key was to NOT look down, yeah? He had this the same way he different everything... Just awesomely.

Susan was really excited to watch students and teachers play a match against each other. Sue wondered who would be playing for the staff side. Sue was going down the list of professors to see who would be the most likely ones to be playing. When she got to the entrance she noticed some turnstile things. OH, COME ON! This was just starting to get ridiculous, 5 galleons to watch the match! "Hrrph" Sue begrudgingly put in the 5 galleons required to enter the match. Luckily her grandparents gave her a little extra money this term before she left home.
Sue noticed Min and Ethan sitting in the stands already, Sue smiled and headed their way. Then Sue remembered the prank she pulled and her smile faded and her steps started to get slower. Susan gave a shy smile and wave to Min "Would you mind if I joined you?" Sue thought Min and Ethan might not want her to sit with them.
You have bewitched me body and soul, And I love- I love- I love you
Mack made her way to the pitch, she could hardly contain her excitement about this match. Of course it would be loads better than the match they were to play next week, but the staff playing would make it a hard match indeed for the students to win. As she went to enter a gold turnstile popped up. SERIOUSLY!!!"Are these things everywhere?" She reached into her pocket, pulling out the bag of coins that her mother had bought her from their stay in France over the summer before she went to Diagon Alley for the summer, this released all new emotions, she didn't want to cry in public, but what was she supposed to do? Weeping she placed the five galleons into the slot and then entered the stadium. She would typically look for someone to sit with Sonea, Ronnie or perhaps even Lex.. but she didn't feel like company. She made her way to an empty section of the top of the stands and covered her eyes, continuing to cry. Oh this was no good, she couldn't even enjoy a quidditch match without thinking about her parents and the letter her grandfather had sent her yesterday.
For today's special event, Botros doubled his doze of potions and got rid of the cane. It's been a long time since he walked freely all this distance, but the adrenaline was rushing through his veins as if he was one of those allowed to play today. He wore his sweats under his long jumper, put a sporty cap on and made sure to charm his glasses in case of accidents.
The site of the turnstile brought a slight frown to his face. He understood the necessity and inevitably of their existence but that didn't mean he wasn't sorry that they existed. He dropped ten galleons and climb up the stands looking for a good place. He waved and grinned at everyone as he passed them, the ones he remembered their names and the nameless ones too. Some were not students which he nodded politely at when they caught his eyes but he mainly headed for his colleague sitting in the front row.

"Leo! Good day. Oh, nice painting job. My wrinkles make me look like a clown out of a muggle horror movie, I'm afraid." He laughed at his own joke and plopped down beside the librarian. He didn't bring flags or anything either. Nor colored robes. Oh his memory was failing him alright. It was alright anyways, he wouldn't be able to wave and jump much. He could shout out cheers though!

"Ugh, tell me about it." Lex said with an animated roll of her eyes. Turnstiles at a Quidditch match, she never thought she'd see the day when Hogwarts started charging them to watch matches. What would happen during the regular quidditch matches? At this rate she couldn't see people coming to any others besides the Championship one and what about the players? Were they going to be expected to pay as well??? "I swear they think we're made of galleons or something." Obviously. Almost everything had a payment centre!
Lex openly giggled at that. "I don't know, who do you think lacks enough coordinatio--Airey, definitely Professor Airey." She didn't doubt that the man could play but at the same time nothing he did surprized her. Still, she was rooting for him...and Professor Romanos. The woman taught her about hexes, she was forever in her debt. "But you have a point there. They might have been legends in their day." In fact she already had a hunch that a few of them were.
"You think so?" She asked, giving the girl a curious look. It was a curious thought in and of itself. "I mean, we've seen all our students play...but I've never seen them play. It'll definitely be something to keep our eyes glued to. Can't miss a single play." And seeing certain people play. Cough. Lex blinked over at Cassia's next sentence before bursting out into laughter. "That seems like all the reason I'd need for sending a bludger at them!" Maybe then they'd be nicer when they graded her. Heh.
SPOILER!!: Benjy!

Thanks for saving me a seat." She had been saving him one, right?
"The professors' roster out yet?"
"Oh sure no problem!" She said grinning over at him. Naturally she would have made sure there was somewhere for him to sit because she'd told him to come watch the match. She thought to thank him for leaving his cousin behind but then Lottie was sitting right there and she didn't want to girl shooting daggers at her. Nah, it was too early for that. She could wait until a bit later in the game.
"They are." She confirmed with a nod. "It's gonna make things real interesting, Lafay's gonna be a beater and even the Headmistress is playing." Her eyes trailed back to the turnstiles before resting on him again, an amused look in them. "Hardly worth 5 galleons, not unless one of them falls off mid-game."
That would make for an interesting match.
"Glad you could make it by the way!" BEAM. "Hope we can be more interesting than your skateboard!" Just a little humour, sorta.

Carter arrived at the pitch ready to watch the Student/Staff match. Of course, he was kind of jealous that there wasn't a match like this when he was at school, but oh well. This was good too. He could... watch quidditch. The Puddlemere chaser hadn't done that in awhile. He waited by the entrance of the pitch to see if he would run into his sister.
Anya happily talked about a million miles a minute as she headed down to the pitch with her boyfriend. It was... actually really nice to be able to do this. She hated walking alone. And since Jake wasn't playing this term, it worked out nicely. She slowed as they approached the stands. Bummer. They had to pay.
Oooh. But saved by the brother.
Carter greeted his baby sister with a hug... and the boyfriend with a nod of the head. "Alumni are 10 Galleons and students are 5." he said looking around and scanning the crowd. You know, in case she was wondering. He picked 10 golden coins out for himself before handing a money bag over to his sister. "Hope things are well." he said to Jake with a slight nod toward the bag in his sister's hand. The two had exchanged a few letters in light of the money situation. And he hoped it was fairly obvious that he wanted the Prefect to continue to help out the house as much as possible. "Have fun." But not too much. Please, Merlin, definitely no kissy faces around him.
And with that, the school Governor headed into the stands. He headed toward the commentators area where the staff usually sat. That seemed like a good place today.
Anya turned toward Jake after picking out 5 of the golden coins for herself. "That's... pricey, isn't it?" she asked handing the bag over to Jake. She, of course, didn't have any frame of reference. She'd never paid for a quidditch game in her life. But... she did know what 5 galleons were in muggle money and it seemed a bit much.
"So where do you want to sit today?" Again. She was super excited to be with him.
