20 years after Harry Potter banished Voldemort from the wizarding world, he comes back with a plan to control Middle Earth. Now it is up to Harry's daughter Joely and a group of our favorite Lord of the Rings characters to stop that from happening.

The day of her graduation from Hogwarts, Joely is sent to Middle Earth, where she befriends King Aragorn and his son, Aerosepth, who is assigned to protect her. But when Aerosepth and Joely fall in love, he is sent away, will they ever see each other again, and will Joely be able to stop Voldemort from taking over the world?

Aspeth smiled slightly, starting to feel a little better now that she was beyond the realm of people asking of her health. "I don't know." she said, looking up at the sky, "I suppose we should go back to our rooms and get ready for dinner." she said thoughtfully.

Arwen raised her head, "Is that it? I could feel that something was wrong with them, but I didn't know what it was. Why are they fighting? They have always gotten along so well." she said, "Oh, really? Do tell me."

Idril sighed. "I'm not looking forward to that war zone," she said, slumping her shoulders. "I don't even know what I did, and suddenly Orion has been short with me, cutting me off," she shook her head. "Do you think this is something he'll really be able to get over?" she asked, looking at her friend.

Aragorn shook his head. "I don't know...he came to talk to me. And he said that he feels different about Idril, he wanted to hide from her at the ball even," he told Arwen, watching to see her reaction. "I had my suspicions about what he might be feeling, but now I'm not so sure," he said with a sigh. He grinned, seeing how excited she was. "Well, we are having a ball in your honor...and its a masquerade ball," he said, smiling.

Aspeth shrugged, "Most likely, all you have to do is give him some time, let him work things out." she said, feeling like a broken record all over again.

Arwen smiled, "That will be lovely." she said happily, "And when is this ball?" she asked him.

Idril laughed. "We have to get you a new tune," she said with a smile to Aspeth. "I'm sorry, I guess I just want to be reassured..." she said with a shrug. "So, now that we have to get masks as well, do you have anything specific in mind?" she asked.

Aragorn smiled. "Probably within the next week or so...I've already sent out messengers and had them announce this ball," he said, kissing her on the forehead. "And, this will also serve to expose Orion and Aeroseph to all the available young ladies," he said with a grin.

Aspeth nodded, "Yes you do, could you please get me one with more wit and humor?" she asked with a smile. "Should I get Falcrin a mask as well? I don't know if he would be able to keep it on." she added thoughtfully.

Arwen nodded, "That, I fear might be a problem with Idril. I can see it in her eyes you know, she loves him, even if it hasn't occured to her yet."

Idril laughed. "I think Falcrin would look cute with a mask!" she said, thinking of her godson. "And so what if he doesn't keep it on? He may like it!" she said with a grin as they reached the seamstress. She smiled as they approached the seamstress.

Aragorn shrugged. "Well, there is a fine line between love and hate...but the problem is, will she ever realize that she loves him? It could be something that neither of them ever realize...but we don't know what will happen at the dance either...that's the fun of a masquerade ball," he said with a grin.

Aspeth nodded , "all right I will get him one too." she said, chatting with the seamstress for a few minutes, she placed her order and then waited for Idril

Arwen smiled, they had now reached their rooms, "That is a wonderful idea." she said to him squeezing his hand, "Who's was it?"

Idril smiled and placed her order. "Well, shall we get ready for dinner?" she asked Aspeth. "It should be interesting," she said with a wry grin.

Aragorn smiled. "Well, it was actually Idril and Aspeth's idea...Orion has spilled that Aspeth was pregnant and then ran off with Falsath on our ride this morning," he explained.

Aspeth nodded, "We will put Orion on the other end of the table." she said with a laugh as they walked back to the castle. "And not beside Falsath, those two are trouble together."

Arwen laughed, "That boy never could keep a secret." she said with a smile, "But I am so happy for Aspeth and Falasth, they have awonderful life together."

Idril grinned. "Well, maybe I'll start a food fight then," she said with a grin. She looked over at Aspeth to see her reaction. "Yes, Falsath should be next to you in any case," she said, laughing.

Aragorn grinned. "So true... and I think they'll do well together, no problems so far," he said with a sigh. "Well, shall we get ready for dinner?" he asked.

Aspeth prodded Idril with her elbow. "We don't want to ruin mom's welcome home dinner." she said with a laugh. "I am going to make sure Falcrin is ready." she said walking the opposite way, "I will see you at dinner. If you see Falsath, tell him I am looking for him."

Arwen laughed and went over to the closet, trying to find a dress to wear for dinner. "What do you think Aragorn? Blue or red?"

Idril smiled and laughed. "I know...I was thinking after," she said with a grin. "I have to stop by the barn real quick, my mare is due within the next week or so," she said with a true smile. "And I've got to make routine checks, not to mention feed," she said with a smile. She then turned and walked down to the barn.

Aragorn looked out from where he was changing. "How about the blue...you look the best in it," he said with a grin. "And besides, we'll match," he said, finishing changing.

Aspeth laughed at Idril as she ran into the castle and up the stairs to their rooms, she had no idea where Falsath was, but she was hoping he wouldn't show up late for dinner.

"Mommy!" Falcrin cried as she walked into the nursery, running into her with so much force that she almost fell over.

Arwen laughed "all right then." she said with a smile, taking the blue dress from the closet.

After she had changed, she walked up to him and warpped her arms around his waist, "It is so nice to be home."

Idril walked out of the barn, smiling as she did. It was the best she had felt all day. Her mare was doing well, and her other horses were munching happily on grain and hay. She walked up to her room, taking corridors that she knew Orion would not take. Soon, she got up to her rooms. Once inside, she collapsed on her bed. What is going on with me? she wondered, not wanting to get up.

Aragorn put his arm around her. "Its good to have you home," he said, kissing her. "I've been lonely..." he said, grinning. "And you're the only one who's able to keep me sane when these lords come," he said with a sigh.

Falsath had departed from Orion and went to the nursery. When he arrived, he saw that Aspeth was already there. "I see you beat me here," he said, kissing her forehead.

Arwen laughed, "Well I don't plan on leaving again any time soon." she said with a smile. "Shall we go down to dinner?" she asked him, taking his arm.

Aspeth laughed as she picked up her son. "Say hello to daddy." she said bouncing him in her arms.
"and of course I beat you."

Aragorn smiled. "Sounds like a wonderful plan," he said, kissing her again as they left their rooms. "So, how was your trip?" he asked her.

Falsath smiled. "Well, I didn't know how long you and Idril would be gone...and something could have happened, you know I worry," he said with a smile. "Shall we get ready for dinner," he said, after ruffling Falcrin's hair.

Idril finally sat up after a sigh. Quickly, she took a bath, getting the grime off the had accumulated during the day. She dressed and stood out on the balcony, allowing the wind to start to dry her long hair. She closed her eyes and relaxed smiling.

"It was- tiring." she said with a small laugh. "It seemed that it took forever to get there." she said smiling at a group of nobles that stopped to welcome her home.

Aspeth gave him a look, "Yes, I know you do." she said. setting Falcrin on the floor, "Excuse me, I need to change." she said before walking out of the room.

Falsath watched as Aspeth stalked out of the room. He frowned slightly but then turned back to his son. "And what would you like to wear to dinner this evening?" he asked Falcrin as they walked down the hall back towards their rooms.

Aragorn smiled. "Well, I'm sure walking would have taken longer, and there was no way for you to take a boat," he said with a smile. "But you got there and now you're back," he said, grinning.

Idril was deep in thought, as she descended down the stairs to the courtyard. She took a seat on the bench under the tree that Falcrin had been swinging on earlier and sighed. Things had been too crazy today, and she just didn't know what to make of it all...especially Orion and the cloaked men.

"I want to wear my swim trunks!" Falcrin said with a laugh, knowing that his father wouldn't let him do that.

Aspeth walked into the closet and sifted through the clothes, she had a very short temperment today, and she wasn't exactly sure why.

Arwen laughed "Right, and I plan on staying here for quite a long time." she said.

Falsath laughed. "As would I, young prince, but I believe that it wouldn't be appropriate!" he said with a grin. "Now, what color would you like?" he asked as they entered Falcrin's room.

Idril leaned against the tree, closing her eyes as another wind blew across her face. She was enjoying this time alone, but she wasn't sure how long that would last.

Falcrin smiled, "I wanna wear what mommy wears!" he sai, jumping up and down.

Orion walked along while he waited for dinner to start, he had now idea where he was going, only where his feet were taking him. He stopped at a tree and took a deep breath when he saw Idril

Idril heard footsteps, and only when they stopped did she open her eyes. "Oh, Orion," she said, sitting up quickly. "How are you?" she said stiffly, not looking up to meet his eyes.

Falsath smiled. "Alright...Aspeth, what color are you wearing?" he called to his wife.

Orion nodded at her and, but didnt meet her eyes, "Nothing of particular intrest." he said.

Aspeth heard Falsath call to her and rolled her eyes, she hated when he yelled from another room. She walked across the hall into Falcrin's room in her red dress that she was wearing for dinner. "Red." she replied.

Idril glanced at him out of the corner of her eyes. "I check my mare...the pregnant one...she's doing well," she said, wondering whether the anger from before had just been a phase or something.

Falsath smiled at her. "There, is that alright Falcrin?" he asked his son as he got out a black and red clothes that would look nicely. "YOu look beautiful," he said, smiling at Aspeth.

"oh well, that is... nice." he replied, not quite sure how he felt about talking to her now.

Aspeth felt a smile tugging at her lips, "Thanks." she said softly, putting her hand on her stomach. She couldnt help but think of how large she would be soon.

Falcrin laughed and jumped up and down, "i look butiful too daddy!!"
