Annabelle got into the house and sighed. Well, at least that was over. She shut the door and sank against it with another sigh.

Draco was just starting to drift off again, his headache completely gone when the smell of pasta, and something else he couldn't name came drifting up the staircase. At that moment his stomach rumbled, he was starving! He tried to resist the temptation, but finally gave in. He got up and walked downstairs and carefully into the kitchen. He wasn't sure what mood Olivia would be in. "What's for dinner?" He asked quietly.

Olivia raised an eyebrow when Draco came into the kitchen and asked her what was for dinner, it gave her a flashback of her parents, the way they acted after they had had a fight. With a soft sigh, she turned around and looked at him, "Chicken parmesan." she said, with a flick of her wrist, two plates came soaring out of the cabinet. "Are you hungry?" she asked, tuning away from him, for some unknown reason, blushing fiercely.

Liam walked into the kitchen and pulled a cold pizza out of the refrigerator. Sitting down in the living room, he started eating, not even bothering to reheat it. Suddenly, he was hit with an idea. Grabbing his wand, he apparated into Annabelle's bedroom, waiting for her to show up.

"Mmmm, sounds good!" Draco said with a smile. He was glad she wasn't screaming at him. He hadn't been very.. pleasant earlier, it was nice to know he was forgiven. Or at least to think he was. He sat down and then counter and said "Starving, no idea why though." Then he noticed the blush and raised an eyebrow, "You okay?"

Annabelle finally picked herself up off her entry way floor and wandered into the kitchen. She reached for a water, then remembering what Draco had said about Olivia, for some reason decided to grab a soda instead. She walked slowly up the stairs and then headed toward her bedroom. She pushed the door open, and without bothering to look around walked straight over to her vanity. Annabelle pulled the rubberband out of her hair and sighed. Stupid thing gave me a headache she thought rubbing the back of her head. Then she looked up and reached toward the back of her neck to take of her necklace. She was fumbling with the clasp when something caught her eye. Turning her head slightly to the right she screamed.

Liam cast a silencing charm on the room and shook his head, "Don't scream." he said needlessly, "I know I was a dolt earlier but I need your help, if you are still willing to grace me with your presence." he whispered.

Livvy loaded both of the plates and nodded her head, "Of course." she lied quickly, taking a seat and handing him a plate, "Why do you ask?" Twirling noodles with her fork, she realized that his was the most she had ever eaten in front of him, and the fact that she was actually doing it showed how comfortable she had become with his presence. She chewed her first bite and smiled, it tasted exactly like her mom made it. She opened her water and sipped it, all the while wondering how much longer she and Draco would have to stay there, and how many more fights they would have.

Annabelle clutched at her chest, and sank down into a chair. She realized she was being a little dramatic- but he had scared her to death. "L-liam!" she choked out. Then she stared at him in surprise as he apologized for 'being a dolt'. She raised an eyebrow, and as soon as her heart calmed down she said "You're apologizing to me?" her voice was full of honest surprise. This time there wasn't any hostility.

Draco raised an eyebrow, "Nothing.. you were just beet red a minute ago." He was quiet for a minute, eating his pasta. Then he looked up at her, surprised, "This is really good Olivia!" It was nice having a human-made meal. At home it was always their house elf that made the dinners, and having a person make it felt.. special. He knew that sounded ridiculous- and would never say it out loud- but it was true.

Liam nodded, "I am, I need your help if this is going to work. We have to both be in it one hundred percent." he told her, feeling bad that he had scared her so much. "Are you okay?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Olivia tied her hardest not to tun red again, and mentally slapped herself. Come on girl, pull yourself together. she chided. "Um thanks." she said softly, "It's my mum's recipe, she was a master at making everything taste sublime." she added, gaining more confidence. She liked the fact that he was complimenting her, and that they were having an actual conversation without fighting. "So, Pansy must miss you a lot." she commented, thinking of nothing else to say that wouldn't make he blush again.

Annabelle looked at Liam in surprise. "Okay.. I'm back in.." she said hesitantly. It wasn't unwillingness to work with him again, it was just surprise at how gentle he was being. It was actually rather attractive. At that thought she blushed and looked down. She looked up in surprise one last time, "Yes. I'm fine." she said calmly, hoping her face wasn't red anymore.

Draco smiled, "It's nice to have a home cooked meal.. made by a person I mean." Did i just say that out loud? He could have slapped himself. "I mean, usually a house elf made all our meals." He added quickly, embarrassed. He was looking down at his plate, trying to recover his dignity when she mentioned something about Pansy. "What makes you say that?" He asked, an edge barely concealed in his voice.

Liam nodded and sat down on her window ledge, "Do you have any ideas?" he asked her softly, not wanting to scare her again.

Livvy blushed, "Uh, well- You two seemed to be hot and heavy back at Hogwarts, I just figured it must be tough for her to be away from you for who knows how long." she said, shrugging. When he mentioned the part about a home cooked meal, she smiled, after her mom died, the house elves cooked for them every meal, she knew how he felt.

Annabelle shrugged, "Well. I think we need to keep doing what we're doing. Getting them jealous. If they're jealous of each other they'll want to get revenge on each other and tell us things they wouldn't normally." Annabelle got up to sit down next to him, "What do you think?"

Draco scoffed, "Pansy and I were.. slightly one-sided. Lets just say it wasn't something I asked for. My parents had... plans for me." He had no idea why she was bringing up such a strange topic, or why for that matter, it had occurred to her in the middle of dinner.

Liam nodded in agreement, "Well, I think we need to step it up a bit, the faster this gets done, the faster we can gather our reward." he looked thoughtfully at a corkboard on her wall, and that's when he noticed it. Standing up, he walked closer to it, and squinted, "There's a dance next week?" he asked, feeling the plan hatching in his brain.

Olivia blushed once again as she tucked her hair behind her ear, "Oh. I didn't realize- otherwise I wouldnt have-" She stopped talking and shoved a piece of chicken into her mouth, promptly choking on it. Now she was really red.

ooc: *gaspeth* we have a shiny little KA thingum! I couldn't find this for the life of me.. what does it mean?

"Yeah.. we should step it up a bit.. then if they, well obviously. But.." Annabelle wasn't really talking to him, she was kind of half thinking out loud. Then he said something about a dance- and it clicked. She looked up at his face, she could see the plan formulating behind his eyes and smiled. "Yes. There is. It's perfect."

Draco tried- unsuccessfully- to hide a smile. He really couldn't deny it, she was adorable when she was embarrassed. "No, it's okay- it's wa-" he started to say, when she started to choke. Reaching over quickly he thumped her on the back, trying to get her to stop. Where was his wand?? He cursed under his breath. He kept patting her back, trying not to be to hard on her, but also trying to keep her from suffocating.

Liam smirked as he tuned to face Annabelle. "Are you thinking what I am thinking?" he asked needlessly.

Olivia held up her hand, "I'm okay." she said quickly, blushing even more fiercly now that he had tried to help her. She took another drink of her water and closed her eyes, trying to compose herself. Looking at him again, and fleetingly thought of running back to her room to hide for the rest of the night. "Um, thanks." she said quickly, pushing her hair off of her shoulder, "I' a bit klutzy sometimes." she said, attempting to calm her nerves.

Annabelle's face lit up into a smirk that exactly mirrored the one on Liam's face. "Oh yeah." She said simply.

Draco rubbed her back while looking at her eyes, questioning if she was really okay. Then he smiled, her face was so red she blended in perfectly with the sleeve of his shirt. "Deep breath Livvy, it's fine. I promise."

Liam's smirk grew. "When shall we do it then?" He asked, walking back to the window sill.

Olivia thought that she just might die there in her seat. Taking a deep breath through her nose, pushing her plate away, "Are you done?" she asked, starting to stand up.

Annabelle smiled, "How about tomorrow at school? We have a few classes with them separated, we can take the oportunities- and we can work it so their jealous and say yes right away."

Draco frowned and grabbed her wrist. "Whoa, hold it. What's wrong? Why are you so upset all of a sudden?"

Liam smiled, he liked the way that she thought. "Sounds good." he replied.

Livvy shook her head, feeling her stomach jump when he grabbed her waist, "It's just, the you know- close proximity to you makes me nervous." she said tugging from his grip slighly, she had never intended on telling him the truth about what she felt, but it had just slipped out.

Annabelle grinned, "Why-thank you. I'm getting good lessons." She winked.

Draco's eyebrow shot up, and his mouth turned into a sly-lopsided grin. "Oh really? The close proximity huh?" He didn't know what was going on in his stomach, or his heart. He felt like everything was squirming- yet for some reason he wasn't very focused on that at the moment. He had unconsciously leaned in, their proximity was closer then ever now.

Liam shrugged, "I try." he said, standing up, "Well I should be getting back." he added, pulling his wand from his pocket. "see you tomorrow then."

Livvy felt her breath catch in her chest when he pulled closer, this is not happening. she said to herself quickly, focusing all of her energy to keep herself from running away. Something was about to happen, but she wasn't sure exactly what. "Yeah, you know.... there's....." She waved her hand in the air, trying to think of the right word to use.

Annabelle smiled and waved, "Alright- I'll see you tomorrow."

Draco, still with no idea what force was driving him- or why, reached up and grabbed the hand Olivia was waving aimlessly around. Intertwining their fingers he leaned in even closer, and then- before he knew what was happening..

He kissed her.

Liam smiled at Annabelle before Apparating out of her bedroom.

Livvy's eyes grew wide when Draco kissed her, but then they slipped closed and she found herself actually enjoying it. She had no idea that Draco thought that way about her, and that thought made it hard for her to breathe. Absently, she reached her hand up to touch the back of his neck softly. She had absolutely no idea how this had happened, but she wasn't going to complain.

Draco was surprised at how much he enjoyed the kiss. He had no idea he felt this way about Olivia, come to think of it- he really didn't think she liked him like that either. He was almost going to pull way, afraid of what she was thinking, when a small hand cupped around his neck. Relaxing he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer.

Olivia suddenly felt her stomach knot and she pulled away from him quickly, her heart racing a million miles an hour, "Well, that was unsuspected." she said quickly, running her fingers thorugh her hair. "I uh-" she couldn't think of anything else to say, so she grabbed her plate and walked over to the sink, emptying the rest of her dinner down the drain. Rinsing off the plate, she left it in the sink and turned around, crossing her arms, there was no denying that that was a good kiss, and she wanted to walk over to him and kiss him again, "What, um..... what should we do now?" she asked, biting her lip.

Draco stared at her as she pulled away, confused. He didn't understand why she pulled away. He didn't understand her..her.. abruptness. He could only assume that she didn't feel that way about him, and he had just made an idiot out of himself. All he could think to say was, "I'm sorry, Olivia. That was uncalled for. I should have understood how you felt before I- before I kissed you." He felt like such a moron.

Olivia wanted to tell him that she liked, maybe even loved him, but for some reason, she couldn't form the words. Every time she got close to someone, they turned around and stabbed her in the back, she didn't want to rush into anything. "Why did you kiss me?" she asked, walking back around the counter and leaned against it. It wasn't an accusatory question, but she wanted to know what he was thinking.
