Default Welcome to Slug and Jiggers Apothecary

Welcome to Slug and Jiggers Apothecary

Located on the north end of the street and one of the first shop on your right you’ll encountered if you came from the Leaky Cauldron, Slug and Jiggers apothecary is there for all your potion making needs. It can be either for someone who wants to start or someone who wants to stock up their collection of potions ingredients. Almost every ingredient can be found in here. If you don’t see it, make sure to ask the shopkeeper, Nigel, he will help you the best of his ability.

For the most part the shop is almost as identical as it used to be. Multiples shelves with various items: cauldrons of different kind or size, scale, jar of ingredient of various natures. Right underneath, several barrels that contain ingredients are on the floor. Bundles of feathers, fangs and claws hang from the ceiling.

The only thing that has change is the smell. Once you entered it doesn't smell as bad as it used to be. No rotten eggs smell anymore. You still have some subtle awful smell but it's not as unpleasant: a little trick of the new owner.

The Shelves and Barrels
Cauldrons of different kind and various items to potions making are located on those shelves. Right underneath those are huge barrels full of various ingredients. Be careful once you open one of those. You might not like the smell.

The Counter
The counter is where you'll need to go if you're either done with your shopping, need some information or simply talk with the shopkeeper. Nigel is usually there behind the old mahogany desk but if he's not don't be alarm; he will be with you shortly. Do NOT play with the old register cash. Yeah it's one of a kind a rather antic but it's also fragile. You wouldn't want to upset the shopkeeper, would you?

Grimoire (Black book of potions)
Right next to the counter, a tall pedestal stood there. On it is a very ancient book: a grimoire or a black book of potion. It was put there so that you could improve your knowledge about potion making. You are welcome to take some notes.

Slug and Jiggers Office
Not far from the storeroom is located the office. It's a rather small room, not much bigger than a closet. A simple wooden desk and two chairs are in. Several folders are on the floor next to the desk. This place is used if you want to talk privately with the shopkeeper.

DO NO ENTER WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION!!

The Storeroom
The storeroom is located in the back of the shop, and you will always find the door closed. Even thought the door is never locked, unless the store is closed, you are not permitted to go there. Unless you work there or have a permission from Nigel himself you shouldn't be caught lurking there. Several cauldrons of all kind and scales are store there. Also huge barrels with all sort of ingredients inside can be found.

In the back of this room is where the shopkeeper makes all the potions that are about to be sold. It can be dangerous to venture there.

As understanding and open the shopkeeper will be severe if you are caught there. Prepare to get in trouble.

Going back to the North End of the Street? I hope you got what you were looking for. Come back anytime!
