Hogsmeade Station

After many hours, the train slowly comes to a complete stop. Peering outside of the windows of your compartment, you take in the tiny platform that is Hogsmeade Station. Though the sky is pitch black and it is raining, you can make out the group of buildings thanks to a number of strategically placed torches that are trying to stay lit with all their might. Suddenly the train let's out a final whistle, seemingly sighing in relief as misty steam leaves its pistons. Shuffling movements and the opening of doors can be heard from the neighboring compartments, a clear sign that it is time to leave.

The moment you step off the train, you are forced to follow the crowd rather than make your way to the luggage car to fetch your trunk (fortunately there is no need to worry as your possessions will be brought up to the castle for you). There is a lot of chitter chatter going on, yet somehow a loud adult voice is heard -- first years are to follow them to the boats, whereas everyone else needs to head to the carriages.

Bettie just got changed into her robes and thing pick up just in time for the train to reach it destination. She would not believe she is here. Trying to control her excitement and nerves Bettie stepped of the train and headed to the boats like the adult voice said.

Jackson made his way off the train and turned to face it. It was his job to make sure everyone knew where to go from here. They didn't want any first years getting in the carriages or something... Had that ever happened before? He couldn't imagine it hadn't... Imagine a kid who was just hanging out at one of the House tables simply because he had felt like it?? Imagine if they could choose their own houses? Jackson was more than happy to be in Ravenclaw, but he wondered about younger him. Bringing himself back to the real world, copying the loud voice for those that may not have heard. "First years over there please, everyone else that way!" he bellowed, pointing towards the lake and the carriages. Carriages pulled by nothing? Yea, he had gotten used to that by now. Kye had told him that this was false though, and that they were pulled by invisible animals... Who figured out invisible animals were a thing? A Scamander probably. Spotting a younger kid (Bettie), Jackson watched her. Was she a First Year? Had she heard the announcement? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm let's go kiddos

Bettie was sure she was going the right direction to the boats and was insured she was correct when she heard and saw an older boy pointing and saying "First years over there please".
