Orr nodded, "Yeah Rue's story is so sad and so poignant. I like how Katniss takes care of her." She said petting Erin's hand in comfort.

As for the romantic question, Orr tilted her head in thought, "Well, I like Peeta the most mainly because he has always always had a crush on on Katniss. Which I find so sweet."

Since they were on the topic of Hunger Games and both she and Erin were muggleborn, Orr knew that she could mention anything. "Speaking of the book, did you know that they also made a movie based on the book? Have you seen it?"

Romantic. So, she's with Peeta, huh? "I like Peeta too since he's always on the scene. But I am so much voting for Katniss-Gale," said Erin. Erin was the kind of person who would fall for someone she was very close with. Well, that was just for her. She find Peeta'a actions so petty and Erin wasn't the person who would like his personality. He was just too martyr. Speaking of crushes. "Do you find guys in here attractive or are you crushing on someone?" asked Erin teasing Orr.

"Movie?" If there was really a movie, then that must be ancient. The book was around 2009 or something. "Well, I have not seen it yet but I'll make it a point that once summer begins, I'll download the movie on my laptop," she said. It was just too bad, internet couldn't reach Hogwarts. Too much magic maybe.

"I dunno really--I prefer Peeta for Katniss especially later on in the trilogy but if you haven't read past Hunger then I won't spoil you." Was she crushing on anyone? Oh no...she most definitely wasn't. The boys in their year were a little immature and she hadn't gotten to know any boys from the older years. "No, are you?" Orr said with a small shudder.

"Oh well, the movie is quite good-- the original from 2012. I don't like the remake they did about twenty years ago. The first was the must faithful to the book I think."

Ow! Orr stands up for Peeta. She must be a romantic. "Now, you spoiled me for choosing Peeta and mentioning something about the ending," said Erin slightly beaming. She was so happy that she was having a very comfortable and interesting conversation with her closest friend.

And then the boys. Well, no one really caught Erin's attention just yet but she believe that it would come very soon. Especially with quite a number of her friends hooking up. Heh. "I don't believe you," said Erin sticking her tongue out then added, "They must be the one crushing on you." Erin should admit, Orr was beautiful. "In our year probably none. I don't think I'll be crushing on them," she said laughing.

"Ooooh! I wanted to watch it soon," said Erin slightly annoyed by Orr's continued spoilers.

Orr frowned, "How did you get that from what I said? In Hunger Gale is much more suitable but I've read all the books so I guess that colors my opinion. I didn't mean to spoil you-- I'm really sorry. Sadly they never did any movies on any of the other books besides Hunger which is a shame."

On the topic of crushes, Orr turned tomato red, "Gosh, I really hope not. Do you think that there are crushes on you?"

Gwendolyn walked quickly heading over to the Ravenclaw study tables, carrying five huge books. All of them about potions, of course.

THUD!

Yeah, the sound of the books being placed 'gently' on the table. Finally taking a seat, the girl opened one of the books and flipped the first pages slowly, concentrating to find exactley what she had been looking for. Taking a piece of parchment, Gwen grabbed one of her quills and started writing quickly... and hideous. Anyone that could see her piece of parchment could probably stare at it for hours and not manage to find out what was written on it.

'HMPH', Gwen puffed and then bit her lip, trying really hard not to burst into laughing when listening to some first years talking about something like 'crushes'. HAHHAHA!!!!

"Ow!" said Erin upon hearing Orr's explanation about Hunger Games. "No movies for the last two books? That's disappointing." It was like cooking food but you're not eating it.

Blush! Orr was totally blushing. Well, she was after all pretty and nice and sweet too. "Why do you hope not?" asked Erin so much into the topic. But if she was to ask about crushes, she would hope it was not in a serious note. She was not ready yet for a relationship. Then, Orr finally asked about it. If there was crushes on her. "Well, I don't think and no one really catches my full attention," Erin said stopping on her tracks and continued the sentence on her mind, 'apart from one older student.' Heh.

Trying to hide her blush from Orr, Erin looked down face to face with her Ancient Runes textbook. Ow! She had an appointment today. Shame she needed to leave Orr in here alone. "I forgot I have someone meeting today. I'm really sorry Orr." After the never-ending apology, Erin stormed off toward the door and shutting it from outside.

Elliot meandered over to the study tables. She had done all of her homework, but she was reading a particularly good book. And she needed to write some letters. Sitting down next to a stranger, Elliot noticed the girl attempting to hold in her laughter. Hmm. Elliot tilted her head to the side, eyeing the girl curiously.

"What are you bursting about?" she asked bluntly, wondering vaguely why she wouldn't just burst out into laughter. Who cares if others heard her? Elliot wouldn't.

Elise put her Charms notes on the table, going to attempt to sort them out and make cue cards. They were an easy way for El to remember things.

Just as she pulled out the spells and wand movements from her stack, there was a biting cold against her left leg, where Ally the Metal Egg resided. Pulling it out, El swore that her fingers nearly froze off. Ally was affected by the weather.

Placing the egg in her right hand, Elise pulled out her wand from her back pocket. Referring to her notes a while, she checked the warming charm. Argentum Calidus with a twirl and point.

"Ar-Gen-Tum" twirl. "Ca-lid-dus." Elise pointed her wand at the egg. Unexpectedly, Ally wriggled comfortably into her palm.

Elise repeated the spell a few times before Ally stopped wriggling and snuggled comfortably into her palm. Pulling out her spare pair of sock from her bag, Elise gently put Ally into one of her woolly socks. That should keep her warm for now.

Smiling, she put Ally into her pocket and started sorting out her notes. She'd have to write this in her journal soon, it was too good not to.

Oh, it's so hard to be serious sometimes, Gwendolyn thought and bit her lip. Hmph. All right- stop it!, she told herself, hoping that the two girls won't look at her curiously. But it was so funny! And stupid! More like the second variant, but meh...

Then, trying to calm herself down, the second year flipped the next pages of the book and started reading about the Deflating Draught. Grabbing her quill, she wrote a few ideas in her notebook. Hmm- let's see what's interesting about it... 'History of the Potion: Owing to the creation of the Swelling Solution, a cure needed to be invented. So, in 1789, that's exactly what Thomas Carpenter from the Magical Plants and Potions Association did. It was 2 years after the invention of the Swelling Solution, and the wizarding community was in a panic. Anyone who had been hit by drops of Swelling Solutions had grown to look awfully grotesque in appearance, and were shunned by the normal percentage of the wizarding community', she read from the book.

Hearing steps coming towards her, the young Ravenclaw didn't mind looking at who it was. Probably just some student who will disappear in the next five seconds. Wrong! The other student just took a seat next to her. Oh well, at least I'll be fine if I don't get disturbed...

Ehem? Raising her eyes from the book, Gwendolyn gave the girl a cold look. None of your business, she wanted to reply, but decided not to. She had already been too mean to other people today. She almost got William hanged in the Whomping Willow, for that matters. 'Nothing', she finally replied curtly.

Looking back at her book, she was ready to carry on with her reading, when she spotted a book in the girl's hand. 'What are you reading?', the ravie asked, raising her eyebrows.

Orr was slightly taken back by Erin having to rush off especially after the conversation they had just had. But she did have a meeting and Orr knew all about forgetting about something and remembering about it at the last possible moment.

She called out a goodbye to Erin's back and returned to her own books.

Elliot raised her eyebrow at the cold. She ALMOST smirked, but hid it behind her coolness. "Nothing? Hmmph. It didn't seem like 'nothing,'" she told the other girl, tapping her fingers on the cover of her book.

At the girl's question, Elliot looked down at the title. It was far too long. Yuck.
"Some gigantic book full of this man's plays. Shakespeare, apparently big in the muggle world. I honestly don't see why, though," she stated. Her opinion of muggles just kept spiraling downstairs...this man, William was it? Wrote horribly! Long, drawn out sentences, and his histories were completely inaccurate!

She then eyed the girl again, narrowing her icy blue eyes at her. After a moment or so, she held out her hand. "Elliot. Elliot Morganzo. First year," she introduced herself, still examining the other girl. She seemed...well, she seemed like someone that Elliot just might like...which was very hard, in fact. She should feel honored, really.

After she had gotten back to the common room following Ancient Runes, Orr went directly to the study tables and sat down. She pulled out the wood with the Algiz rune on it as well as the ribbon Prof. Christiansen had given her. She put the wood on the ribbon and tied it to her neck so she wore it as a necklace.

Next she blessed the wood by bringing it to her lips and kissing it. She knew that it didn't need it but she thought in her head, "Please protect me and my family".

She brought it down to her neck and laid her hand over it. Orr was a little skeptic but she could have sworn that as she kissed her rune, she felt something change.

Putting it out of her mind, Orr got out her other HW and started to work.

Louisa held the basket she'd arranged for the egg, Dalouisa, and headed to one of the tables in the study area where she was going to do her Ancient Runes essay. Smiling to herself, the girl placed the egg down on the table and then brought her giant book of AR next to it. She flopped herself down on the chair and took out her parchment and black ink.

The girl started flipping through the book, her protective rune necklace dangling on her chest. Half an hour passed when the egg twitched, Louisa intently into her reading. The egg started glowing very faintly, then turning off.. more glowing before turning off again. Louisa exclaimed at something in the book without lifting her gaze up to Dalouisa. Ten more minutes and the bookworm girl didn't move her eyes off the book, eventually the egg twitched and rolled out of the basket across the table making a low dragging sound that alerted the girl. "No!" She gasped, jumped on the table stretching her eyes forward and grabbed the egg that stayed still for a second before twitching again.

Louisa sat back down, panting from the jump, and put Dalouisa on her lap, "Why are you twitching dear?" She whispered placing a hand on the egg and feeling the sticky surface. "Aww, sorry." Louisa cleared her throat and, "Argentum Siccus," twirling her wand and then pointing it at Dalouisa, the egg glowed one last time and stayed still. The girl smiled and kept the egg on her lap all the time as she wrote down her essay.

"Excuse me, may I sit her? The other tables were full..."
Kiyomi asked politely.

Luna took out her books and paper and quills and placed Speckles on the table she opened up her book put on her glasses and began taking in the information when Speckles rolled on her book she lifted him/her up and put him at the side of the desk ''No,'' she whispered gently ''Later..'' but it seemed it keeped it keeped happening and happening untill she was fed up and agreed it was cute then she took Speckles and went to the girls dorm
