As you would have noticed, a new gallery came along with the site upgrade. Below I've created a little guide on general gallery functions to make your browsing/submitting easier.
Browsing
The categories are organized in a similar way to the old gallery, they still have the same names, so you shouldn’t have any problems there, we do have more specific albums for everything, which means more walking for your internet legs (lol, juuust ignore me, I’m just hyper/excited about this XD).
A new category called
creative resources is in place, this section is highly recommended for artists and graphic makers. You will find zip files containing hires images and screencaps, tutorials and brushes. This section is still being expanded, so check back often.
Submitting Where to submit
If you are unsure of where to put your image, select the 'misc' album for that category – for example, you have an image of Daniel Radcliffe from a photoshoot, but you don’t know which one it is, put it in the 'misc photoshoots' album in Dan's category, and an admin will sort it out.
Closed albums/categories
Some categories and albums aren’t open for members to submit images, there shouldn’t be a need for you to submit to any of the closed albums, but if there is, PM an admin, or submit it to a misc. album and indicate in the description where it should go.
To submit an image:- click 'upload file' at the top
- Click 'browse' and find your file / add the url where the image is located
- Click the dropdown menu & select the appropriate album where your image will go
- Add a title & description if you would like – Important: DO NOT fill in the keywords or submitted by fields, only admins need those.
Your file(s) should then be submitted successfully.
Please make sure you follow the guidelines for submitting images in the
rules & FAQ. Like before, your files will need to be approved by an admin before it shows up.
Fanart
We have a new fanart system which will link the fanart sections in the gallery and forum. All fanartists: please read
this thread and set up your new portfolio asap.
Now is also a great time to start contributing to our wonderful collection of fanart if you haven’t already
…hint hint. We would love people of all abilities to submit fanart
The Artist Spotlight interviews and features will start again soon, so get submitting!

Keep an eye out for new pics & features in the next few weeks. There are also plans for some games & (art and graphic-making) contests as well.
If you have any questions or concerns about the new gallery, please PM me or post below.
Thanks, & I’ll see you in the gallery
