They were in England... they needed a round table! Like in Camelot!

Gina came into the conference room and put trays and trays of warm cookies on the table. She waited for the employees to enter.

Esteban poped into the conference room and nocited Gina had put out cookies. He had always loved these.

He smiled at her. "Hello Gina, how goes it?" He had asked her noticing that he was the first one here. "I've actually have some good news of my own, when the meeting is over." He told her barely able to confine his own excitment. He took a seat and nibbled on his cookie waiting for Gina's reply.

Sophie walked into the Conference Room with the echo of the clink of her heels following her every step. As she looked around the room she noted that this conference room looked very much like the set up of her favorite childhood story- King Arthur. The round table inspired a youthful moment in Sophie's mind as she took a seat at the table. Smiling at Gina she conjured a cookie and said, "Thank you for the cookie Gina." Honestly Sophie had no idea why she was here. She was in the middle of some paperwork that she was going to owl to Australia when there was a commotion out in the Cubicle Area. Everyone was buzzing about how Gina was meeting everyone in the Conference Room for some undisclosed reason. Sophie was sure it had something to do with the work ethic and giving some kind of inspirational message, but now that she was in the room and looking eye to eye with Gina she had her doubts. Of course Sophie was here to work. She would do her job and not inquire about anything unless it was a direct source from her boss. After all she was a thirty-four year old mother, her life had no room for gossip.

Katrina came into te conference room and took a seat. "Hello, Miss Latorta." Katrina smiled at her boss. She had not had a chance to formally meet her. But today seemed like it would need to wait.

Sarah had gotten the meno about the emergency meeting. She put her things away and made her way to the confence room. She stepped into the confence room. A few people were already there. She seen that her department head had bought cookies. Turning to her department head and smiled slightly. "Hello, Gina! How are you? Thanks for the cookies" As she took and seat and grabbed a cookie.

Dimitri loved meetings. They were official and organized, just the way he liked it. Walking into the conference room, Dimitri gave a brief nod to all his fellow co-workers. Although he didn't take a cookie, Dimitri sat stiffly in a chair.

Striding into the conference room, Gavin looked around the room at who was there already, before taking a seat about midway down the table. His curiosity made him wonder what the meeting was called about, but it didn't stop him from making himself comfortable first. He noticed most of the others were still standing about, but he just sat there just the same. "Good morning Ms. Latorta." he said in his deep voice.

Charlie walked calmly into the conference, thinking for a moment about the Knights at the Round Table when he saw the totally awesome round table, but it was hard to walk calmly when this was your first conference or whatever it was. Meeting. Something. He smelt the familiar smell of Gina's cookies but didn't know whether they were allowed to have one or they were just for her, but you know, that was a LOT of cookies for just one person. "Morning everyone" he cheerfully before taking a seat and waiting for something else to happen. Or for some indication that he could take a cookie. Whichever came first.

Looking over the parchment that was handed to him, his eyes skimmed over it. His eyebrow raising, he looked up at his head, in amusement. Apparently he was more serious than Gavin had thought. Ideas...for lessening the stuffiness?

Sitting back in his chair, he tilted his head to one side a bit. Shaking his head he had no clue. "A nice breeze might filter out the stuffiness. But that'd be under the Maintenance department."

Dimitri almost scoffed when he read the letter from their excuse of a Minister. Stuffy? Decorate? Work wasn't about looks, it was work.

The man leaning back in his chair. "I agree with Gavin," he said. "A few more windows might be nice. Or maybe plants." This was stupid.

Corrina Walked Into The Conference Room and Sat Down , She Had Been Late But Of Course She Had an Excuse . " Im So Sorry I'm Late . " She Said . " I Got Stuck In all the Traffic up in the Atrium . " And She wasn't Lying , Berty Borr Had Been Yelling at most of the Employees and Good Thing she wasn't one of Them .

She Grabbed The Letter That was passed Out and Read Through It . " Stuffy ? Well , We Could always Try Painting The Place a Lighter Color Wait , no That Would Take forever , But i Also Agree on Adding A Couple Windows . " She Said Agreeing With the Others , but she didn't Really Know them at all .

Everyone was saying windows but windows let in germs and how the heck were they gonna get windows underground? It wasn't logical. "what about fans?" Charlie suggested, because fans created a breeze ... just like windows. They weren't much better germ wise, but still better than dirt filled underground window that wouldn't even work.

Sophie looked Gina with a skeptical eye. The point of the meeting was to please Borr? In Sophie's opinion they should be doing everything in their power to ignore what Borr suggested. He was only in power because... well actually she had no idea why he was in power. And all of his decrees were starting to wear on Sophie's nerves. Honestly, this man was not her father and she was a grown woman anyway. She lived her life the way she pleased to and this man who screamed and yelled and acted like a child was warming up to NOT be her cup of tea. So when her boss even suggested that they listen to him Sophie could not respond in a positive manner. She merely sat back in her chair and crossed her legs.

As she listened to the suggestions she was growing more and more agitated. So she lifted her quill in the air to signal that she was offering up an opinion, "Honestly Gina, why are we listening to him? Our office already has flare or whatever he is complaining about. I personally don't see the point of all of this nonsense that is going on."

Matthew wasn't much of a morning person, so for a while he just studied his colleagues' reactions. But when he read the parchment himself, he could not hide his frustration. Why on Earth did they have to do this? Maybe it was a job for the Environmental Department. When a female colleague pointed out that their offices were fine as they were, the man found himself agreeing with her. 'Precisely. I can find no faults in the working space in our department, and I too think that we should concentrate on more important matters, that are actually relevant to International Cooperation.'

Hong was a little late as he walked he didn't look around he had his book in his hand hopefully he thought that this meeting will be useful but taking his seat and after reading over the parchment that was handed out he knew this meeting was rather ridiculous. There was no true point to this memo that the minister sent out sense when did he care about stuffiness but sense it was what the minister wanted he started think what could be done.

"What about humidifiers placed around the department, it seems to be the most simplistic thing that could be done to get rid of the stuffiness. But as for decorations I don't simply see the point, yes it might make the department feel more comfortable but if the department became more comfortable some might start to slack off not saying anyone here would." He said bluntly.

Hong thought humidifiers might be a good idea over back in his home country it was common to see in alot of offices. He sat the parchment hoping this meeting might end soon so he could continue his reading.

Liven up the Ministry? Tom couldn't help but stare at his Department Head as he finished reading Minister Borr's memo. Really? He'd come all this way from Argentina, then woken up this morning to come to the office... For decorating tips?

Oh, well. Taking a cookie out of the pile on the table, he munched on it thoughtfully as his fellow colleagues spoke up. He frowned at some of them, and downright stared at a few. From what he'd gathered, Lord Borr wasn't one of the more popular Ministers around, especially in his own country, but to see all this blatant insubordination? His eyes flickered to Mrs. Latorta, wondering what she'd say.

Perhaps he should also contribute something? "Or," he said to all those who'd dismissed the idea of doing the task at hand, "since it's so simple, we could just get it done as quickly as possible and then return to our work." Not that his work was all that interesting, but he supposed the Ambassadors had a lot of their plate. Plus, he kind of agreed with Matthew but if it was the Minister's orders, then Tom would get the task done.

"How about large paintings? Serene scenery or some abstract art? I always find those calming and they usually give the illusion that the space around them is bigger than it is," Tom offered the table, then finished up his cookie before instantly grabbing another one. "These are delicious, señora," he nodded to the department head with a smile.

And there is tons of food at the cafeteria, but it would make the individual departments...I dunno, more comfortable. Like - 'oh hi, you need to do this this and this but here's a cookie'." Noah shrugged. At this point he was rambling.

"It all comes down to what he means exactly. If he means air, then yeah. Crank open the windows and stuff, but what if he means just downright prudish?" it was time for another shrug.

He shut his mouth closed. That was the most he had said during any meeting, and he had a feeling he hadn't done it very tactifully. Whaaaatever.

Esteban rolled his eyes when he looked down at the paper. Lord what's his face again, that man had some issues.

"Well potted plants seem to be a little over done." He said realizing that it was Lord what's his face idea and he really wanted nothing to do with it. He sighed. "I personally like the idea of each person decorating their own desk." He wasn't sure what else there would be to do for the area.

Sophie was taken aback a little by Gina's comment. In a way she was glad that she said it. Gina was being realistic with her and she appreciated the honesty. Currently, the state of the Ministry was very phony and she was glad that someone was being honest and blunt. Sugar coating things prevented her from her job.

"I agree, sorry Gina. I'll try to keep my comments to myself." But she could think all she wanted in her mind of her BIG pain in the butt Minister.

Dimitri listened to everyone's comments and replies quietly. Until the one about having funny mugs and whatnot. Because there was no way on the planet earth that Dimitri was going to bring in a silly mug. Making sure his tone was respectful, he said, "Gina, I understand the dilemma, but don't you think in this case less would be more? In my personal opinion, I think having too many decorations and whatnot would make things even more crowded."

Would the Minister fire EVERYONE who didn't come up with ideas? That didn't seem very likely. Regardless, Matt kept his further opinions private and tried to come up with an idea, since most of his colleagues had already done that and he didn't want to seem the annoying one.

'Maybe...we could get some music? I suppose some types of music can increase productivity while also livening up the office.' Matthew suggested, frowning at the silliness of his own idea.

"Believe me Sophie, I'm sorry. In the safety of talking to me, or anyone in International cooperation, it's fine to voice your opinion, but be careful in doing so outside of these offices. Lord Borr has many followers." She said.

Gina simply looked at the man. "Have you seen the Minister of Magic? He's a lot 'more' than 'less,' Dimitri. Besides..." she said mischievously, "if we bombard him with ideas, and expensive ones like installing windows, he might back off."
