OOC: Before posting in this thread, you must first have been called back by Healer Tillstorm. To be seen by the Healer, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients first then in the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors.

Upon entering the Hospital Ward and Healing Area, you'll come upon a long hallway that eventually forks into two different directions. You'll want to proceed to the right, the direction that will take you to the Healing Areas. Healer Tillstorm will be waiting for you. It is in the Healing Area that you'll receive the medical attention that will hopefully heal you right away and send you back to classes and your everyday life.

If, however, you aren't able to be healed right away and your character is in a rather serious condition, you will be escorted to the Observation Ward, where you will receive further medical attention.

OOC: Once your character is seen and tended to, Healer Tillstorm will deem them "well" and able to return to classes/everyday life. If your character continues to suffer from repeat conditions, it's likely that he or she will be admitted into the Room for Quarantined Patients. If this happens, you will be temporarily placed in the "Quarantined" user group, and your posting in the school will be temporarily limited to the "Quarantined" thread only.

I will lock these threads once a session is finished. When a new session, and a new student is assigned to the room, the thread will be reopened.

See! There it was, that look of hate, like she was going to add more bruises to him rather than get rid of them. It was because he interupted her conversation with Former Groundskeeper Mr.Murdoch, and Former Professor Williamson at the Auction,. wasn't it? He couldn't help it. He liked the Former Groundskeeper, he wasn't going to sit idley by while the greatest man...and his friend in the silly Dragon suit were at school once more."Healer Tilstorm" Oakey replied as he sat up and followed her.

As he entered into the Healing Area he looked behind him and figured he'd try to make small talk with the Evil Healer on the subject. "It was cool seeing Mr.Murdoch, and Professor Williamson again." He sat down on the bed, and looked up to the Evil Healer nervously.

After she had told the other student to take a seat and wait out in the waiting room, Healer Tillstorm made her way back to Oakey. “Mr. Gunter, I do not have time for idle chit chat, I’m am a very busy person.” And even if she wasn’t, she was NOT about to sit here and chat with this boy about who it was “cool” to see. He could just come to her office if he just wanted to visit with her.

“Now tell me why you think it’s necessary to come here for some bruises.” Better yet, he needed to tell her just exactly how it was he got the bruises.

"it's not just some bruises. It's a bunch all over my chest, stomach, and back." Of course the Healer was gonna downplay his injury. "It happened in Astronomy, I wasn't given enough time to put on the rest of my protective gear before Professor Flamsteed started the activity."

Healer Tillstorm looked at the boy with a raised eyebrow. "Not given enough time? I'm sure Professor Flamsteed gave the class an ample amount of time to prepare for whatever activity it was he had planned." Obviously if Oakey wasn't prepared that meant he was either messing around or not paying attention, or both. Some prefect he was. "How about I just call Professor Flamsteed down here and find out exactly what it was that did happen?"

No, she wasn't even going to look at his little bruises right now. What kind of quidditch player/prefect was this boy if he couldn't handle the pain from some bruises?

A wimpy boy, that's what he was.

bring Professor Flamsteed in? "I don't think..." No, maybe this will be better. Professor Flamsteed was strange, giving him three points in class for bumping into him. "Actually, sure." Who knows maybe the Astronomy Professor will give him more points if he thinks his bruises form Orion's Belt or the Big Dipper.

"Are we gonna get anything done for my bruises though, I'd rather they not get worse. I don't want to miss the first match of the year against the Snakes." It's be really annoying, and clearly house biased if she brushes him off now. Oakey can bring it to Hadley and say that Tilstorm refused to help him with his bruises a week before the match against the Healers Former House.

Now THERE'S a real shocker.

Oakey NOT thinking!

"Of course you don't think Mr. Gunter. If you did then you wouldn't be in this situation you're in right now would you." Not even giving the boy a chance to respond she pulled out her wand and with a flick of her wrist, her silver armadillo patronus was on it's way to find Professor Flamsteed. "Professor Flamsteed should be here shortly." Then they would get to the bottom of this.

His bruises? The boy seriously thought she was going to give him something to heal some bruises? "You'd rather your bruises didn't get any worse? What kind of quidditch player are you if you can't handle a few bruises? I highly doubt Professor James would bench you from the game just because you have some bruises." In fact, Healer Tillstorm just might encourage the Professor to make sure the boy plays. Bruises and all. "You kids at this school are some of the biggest cry babies I have ever met. You get a little bruise or a little scratch, a bump on the head," that doesn't even leave a lump, "and you come running to the healer. So to answer your question, no, I will not be doing anything about your bruises. They can just heal on their own. A few bruises will not kill you." If anything they would make him a more careful person. "If I continue to instantly heal every bump, scratch and bruise you kids get, none of you will ever learn how to be careful and watch what you're doing." And yes, she was mostly referring to those careless, accident prone Hufflepuffs.

What was taking Professor Flamsteed so long? He should have been here by now.

Airey had been doing some star charting and plotting in his office when the familiar silvery armadillo appeared on his desk. Seriously, NOW? Cece always did have the worst timing for these sorts of things. Leaving everything on his desk, Airey left his office and made his way to the hospital wing.

Pushing open the door, the six foot something professor peeked his head in to see Cece and Mr. Gunter. "You rang?" he said with a small but nervous smirk on his lips.

What was this all about?

Seriously! can he request for Professor Hadley to come in here next, let his head of house see just how horrible this Evil Healer was? "That's not what I meant, and the bruises look a lot worse than you're letting on!" Oakey said back sternly to Tillstorm. She probably knew it too, and just wanted to find a way to belittle him some more."I've got them all over!"
What kind of Healer doesn't inspect her patients!?!?
Before Oakey lost his cool entirely to the Evil Healer, Professor Flamsteed finally showed up. Took his sweet time getting here, probably needed to straighten and unlint one of his suits. It was going to be helpful having someone nice in this Hospital Wing "Hello Professor Flamsteed, I like the tie you have on." Oakey said, hoping to get the man on his side before Tillstorm spewed her lies to him.

Was this boy even listening to what he was saying here? It was really doubtful because if he was he would stop talking while he was ahead. "Well then Mr. Gunter, if the bruises only LOOK worse than what I'm letting on, I would assume that to mean they aren't bad at all." Meaning once again he was being nothing more than a whiny little puffer at the moment. "It doesn't matter how many you have Oakey. I'm still not giving you anything to make them just disappear. Like I said before, you kids need to toughen up a little. I don't know how any of you expect to make it out in the real world if you can't even handle some bruises." Let alone how the hell did he manage to stay on the quidditch team being the big baby he was?

Ahh, finally Professor Flamsteed arrived. "Hello Professor. Thank you for taking the time to come down here. It seems there were some problems in your class today." Upon saying the word 'problems', she looked over at the prefect who was crying about some bruises. "Apparently you didn't give students enough time to put on some protective gear before starting your class. Is this correct?"

See Oakey, she was asking about your accusation. Now to wait for the professor to blow Oakey's lie out of the water.

The vein in Airey's forehead bulged and pulsed a little bit at Mr. Gunter's tie complement. Was this boy mocking him because had information about the whereabouts of his precious Carolina blue stripe silk tie? Hmmm? Hufflepuffs were good finders after all...

We have our eye on you, Mr. Gunter. BOTH of them actually.

"Yes, it is," he said, eyebrow raised at the boy. "Would be nicer in say...Carolina blue though." STARE. Any reaction to those words, eh Bruisy?

Eyes still on the finder while Cece spoke, Airey's attention snapped towards her when she said something about his lesson. "Oh, you must mean my meteor activity," he grinned. It had been fun. She should have been there. "If Mr. Gunter is referring to the 15 minutes or so I allowed for students to get their gear on, it was more than enough time unless someone was dinking around and not on task. In fact, even Mr. Clark was prepared and participated in the activity." And Mr. Clark was MUCH more fragile than this boy was.

Maybe Mr. Gunter should put his Puff instincts to good use and FIND himself a pocket watch? That way he wouldn't lose track of the time and be more efficient?

He gave the Healer a very annoyed look after her speech, he needed to toughen up? Like hell he did! He played Quidditch with a bad back then got detention for it! Oakey didn't need to toughen up! "Ma'am, If you won't...can't help me. Will you give me advise as to what I need to do myself besides toughen up."
He flailed his arms up slightly and the Felix Felicis vile around his neck popped out from under his robe, and hung out.

"Couldn't you just make the one your wearing Carolina Blue?" Oakey said puzzled, "Do you want me to help you find it?" Wait, was he being accused of stealing?

Professor Flamsteed's presence wasn't helping like he thought it would either. "All right fine, and old man was quicker than I was at getting ready, and I may have been day dreaming just a bit!" Was he yelling? "But I called for your help a few times sir, to help me get the chest piece!"
Yeah, he was yelling, and pointing blame at the Astronomy Professor.

Healer Tillstorm glared at the boy and his little 'can't help him' comment. "Oh, I could very well help you, IF I thought it was something you needed help with. But a bruise, well that's not something that's life threatening. Muggle kids get bruises all the time and they don't have the luxury of having someone give them something to make them just disappear on the spot. No, they have to let them heal on their own, which is what you are going to have to do."

Just as she had thought. The students were given enough time to get prepared for the activity in class. "Mr. Clark, that old man in a wheelchair that's ~~been snooping around~~ running for the Board of Governors?" she asked as she looked back over at Oakey. "He was able to get prepared and you weren't?"

"Prefect Gunter! You will NOT talk to a professor in that tone. It is NOT his fault you weren't paying attention in class." A fact the boy had just admitted to by stating he had been daydreaming.

Make his current tie Carolina blue. MAKE his tie a different color?! One does not simply MAKE one tie's color change. Silly Hufflepuff. He needed to find another solution.

"No, Mr. Gunter, I will not just use magic to change the color of my tie. You seem to be missing the entire point," Airey responded with narrowing eyes. Besides, he would always know that it was not his Carolina blue tie that he was wearing around his neck.

Sweet solstice...he was sounding like Calista and her not wanting to transfigure some of her rubbish into shelves because she would always know that they were not shelves before. He had something in common with the Divination professor...Orion help him.

The astronomer somewhat ignored the boy's offer for finding his tie for the time being and instead nodded to Cece when she asked about Mr. Clark. "He is indeed. Very charming man if I do say so myse---"

EXCUSE YOU!

Before Airey could step in, Cece did for him, but not before the man had his wand out and twirled it in his fingers. "You know what I think, Cece?" he asked with a small smirk. "24 hours without the ability to talk should be an excellent reminder to not raise your voice at a professor, don't you think?"

What did Carolina Blue even look like? Why did the Carolina's get there one Color? Is there a Massachusetts Yellow?
"Couldn't you buy another one then? I'm sure there are plenty blue ties out there. Maybe you could borrow one from a Ravenclaw?"
Professor Flamsteed was really, really upset about the missing blue tie.

MERLIN'S WOBBLY OLD MAN KNEES!
Tillstorm wasn't going to willingly understood why he came up here! "Bruises." Oakey repeated once more trying to breathe before he lost his temper completely with the the Healer and now the Astronomy Professor. "Bruises, and they're all over. I can't believe you won't at least help some, not even indirectly"
Just let him leave now, it's like she was holding him in here now just to make him snap, and get the chance to throw him in detention! "I know it's not his fault I wasn't paying attention. I'm saying I called for his He..."

Oakey's eyes went wide when Professor Flamsteed threatened to silence him for Twenty-Four Hours. To think he could have gotten away from losing his voice now that Kurumi had graduated. It was like she was haunting him from beyond the school walls. "No Please." Oakey was done with the whole Silencing thing now, he can do it himself.

Healer Tillstorm chose to ignore the talk of the silly tie that Professor Flamsteed lost. She instead focused on Oakey and his I want a detention attitude. "Mr. Gunter, I don't care if you have one bruise or twenty bruises. As I've already told you, bruises are not life threatening. If you are not man enough to handle some bruises, that are your own fault you have in the first place, then maybe you aren't man enough to be on the quidditch team either." Cece would have no problem talking with Professor James about this boy who couldn't handle a few bumps and bruises.

Oh, now there was an idea she like... a lot.

"Only 24 hours professor? I'm thinking at least 48 hours." Oh yeah. See how the prefect liked not being able to talk, or yell at anyone for two whole days.

Airey wasn't even going to bother responding to the Hufflepuff's comment about REPLACING something with so much sentimental value to himself. How could one just replace something that had been with him for so long?! It had been one of his first ties and one that he had even worn to his interview with Headmistress Truebridge to get this postion! It was his lucky tie and irreplaceable!

And he would not borrow anything from those Ravenclaws. They had proved to be a bunch of crazypants and it was probably contagious and he had a hard enough time as it was containing himself.

And OUCH Cece. Some of those comments were a little below the belt, no?

"Muggles deal with bruises just fine, Mr. Gunter," Airey said with a small nod towards Cece. Perhaps she had finally come around and appreciated some aspects of the muggle lifestyle? He should take her to a dry cleaners sometime. MAGICAL places. "Healer Tillstorm won't be providing you with a shot cut to healing so that you learn from each and every bruise to pay more attention. No pain no gain as muggles say!"

And he may have said that with a bit of a smirk. Maybe.

Airey began to flick his wand up and down in his hand while eyeing the boy and then went back to Cece. "You're the boss," he replied with a small chuckle. "48 hours it is."

And then with another flick of his wand Airey silenced the boy.

Oakey's jaw dropped when Healer Tillstorm insulted his ability to play Quidditch. One; Saying he isn't man enough means that she is indirectly insulting his Captain's decision toput him on the team. Two; He played with a Bad back in his Fourth Year, and got a few hits in that match. Three; He's trains with his Gaurdian almost anytime he's home. No one indirectly insults the man who made Oakey the player he is today! "I could FLY CIRCLES around anyone on Slytherins Team! West, Theo, even Dylan any day!"
Right he may have been exaggerating some on the Dylan part, but he was not in the mood for his skills to be insulted."I can hit a Bludger harder, and farther than Sierra."
...That one he should've probably tested before making that claim."Hufflepuff could kick Slytherin's B...!"
Nothing came out! His VOICE Flamsteed made good on his threat! and for Fourty-Eight Hours! No, no, no!
Oakey pulled his wand from his holster and pointed it at himself. A silent Finite wasn't going to be difficult. He thought it out and...
He opened his mouth to see if he undid the charm, but still nothing. He lowered his wand from himself in defeat. Of course Flamsteed did it silently to him for all he knew the Astronomy Professor used a more advanced Silencing charm.

Oh no he didn't!

Did this boy have a death wish or what? Cece knew the puffs weren't the smartest kids in the school but this one, he gave his house an even worse reputation than they already had.

Seriously, it took a really stupid kid to talk about Slytherin like that in front of the healer. Especially when he thought it was appropriate to bring ~~her favorite students~~ Sierra into the conversation.

"Prefect Gunter. I've heard quite enough out of you." And apparently so had Professor Flamsteed who silenced the boy before he had a chance to finish his last insult.

And for 48 hours too. Nice job professor.

And the boy just kept showing his ignorance. "Your wand will be of no use to you for that. You, nor anyone else will be able to remove the charm Professor Flamsteed has placed on you. Only Professor Flamsteed can do that." Meaning the boy would have to find the professor in 48 hours time and ask him to give him his voice back.

Of course the healer wasn't done with the prefect just yet. "Mr. Gunter, being the prefect you are, you are looked upon as a role model by the students of your house and the other houses too. It is because of this reason, along with your so called injuries and your very poor sportsmanship attitude that I am benching you from your next quidditch match." Which happens to be against Slytherin. "Not only are you benched from playing in the match, but you will be sitting in the stands, with me, as you cheer on Slytherin." That's right, the Hufflepuff prefect/quidditch player was going to cheer for the opposing team. "You will show house unity and respect to the other players." And if he didn't. Well he just better hope he can pull this one off.

Looking over towards the professor, she had a grin on her face. "What do you think Professor, care to join us at the match?"

Airey really did hate punishing students since he himself had been quite the troublemaker in his day, but this boy really did have it coming. At least he hadn't transfigured the boy into a ferret or anything of that sort, right? Dung beetle perhaps. That was much worse than a ferret.

"What she said," he nodded while pointing his one finger in Cece's direction. "When the 48 hours is up you can come find me in my office." No sooner but later was perfectly acceptable should the Hufflepuff decide that he wanted to enjoy his silence longer. Heh.

And clearly the Healer was more well versed in this lecturing business than he was. Maybe he should be taking notes or something? Ask her to teach him how to give that look of death that she was so good at. Airey really only could smirk. "I was already planning on attending, so I would LOVE to join you. Perhaps Mr. Gunter could benefit from some green face paint as well."

Stupid Wand.

Four...Fourty-Eight hours of silence, b-but what about classes, what if Oakey had to ask a really important and insightful question! Nooooooo Oakey sulked sitting on the bed and listened to Tillstorm's "Being a Prefect" speech. He didn't ignore it, he didn't really have much choice.
Why can she call him out on Poor Sportmanship!?!? He'd call her out on her previous comment if he could!

He had to see Flamsteed to get it removed too! But what if he's not at his office! Those Fourty-Eight hours could turn into, Fourty-Eight Hours and ten minutes! He looked

Oakey DID NO like what he heard next! Not allowed to play the next game! WHAT WHAT WHAT!???!!???!!!! HE HAD DO WHAT AS WELL? CHEER FOR THE SNAKES! WHAT!?

NO! Oakey Mouthed to the two of them. Flailing his arms up and his chain and potion vial flinging up with him. You can ban him from the match, Hell she's done it before. But to make him cheer for the team they're up against. No way not in a million years!!!

Cece looked between the professor and the prefect with a huge grin on he face. "Then it's set. Oakey here will accompany us to the match next week."

She then looked right at the boy just as he mouthed the word NO. "Oh YES, you will be cheering for Slytherin. You will have your voice back by then so don't even think you can use that as an excuse." She then turned her attention back to Professor Flamsteed. "Oh yes, green face paint sounds lovely. I'm sure Oakey will love wearing it." And if he didn't, well that was just too bad for him now wasn't it.

"I think we're finished here Mr. Gunter. Before you go though I have a gift for you." Pointing her wand at the boy's neck she removed the potion from around it then placed it in her pocket. "You won't be needing this for now." She didn't want it getting in the way of his new necklace he was about to receive. Pointing her wand back at him as she grinned at the new necklace that now hung around the boys neck. "And don't get any funny ideas there either. That sign has been charmed so it can NOT be removed until Professor Flamsteed removes his silencing charm."

That's right. The boy would have to sport that sign for the next two days in all his classes, in the Great Hall, in his common room, everywhere he went. Yes, she was making an example of him.

This was going to be fuuuuuuuuuuun. Not just observing Mr. Gunter and his behavior over the next 48 47 hours and 45 minutes but also sitting in the stands with Cece and watching the poor boy have to cheer for the opposing team.

Wait a second...was this how professors had felt watching him go through detention? Scary thought.

"Looking forward to it," he said to the two while giving them a quick two finger salute. "Green looks good on you," he said while patting the boy's shoulder. See, rooting for Slytherin wouldn't be such a bad thing after all. "Now i really should get going because Pebbles will be needing her walk soon."

He was allowed to leave now, right Cece?

Ugh Finally Oakey could leave. He hopped down from the bed and didn't look back at the two of their smiling faces. Did they take joy in ruining him?

Just before he could exit Tillstorm turned him back around snatched his Felix Felicis off of his chain, and stuck an ugly green sign in it's place! Oakey freaked at this and tried to snatch the potion back! TILLSTORM HAD NO RIGHT TO TAKE THAT FROM HIM! HIS GEEGEE WON THAT FAIR AND SQUARE! His face turned visibly red and he stuffed his clenched fists in his pockets.

He took a deep long breath in through his nose, turned and stomped loudly out of the Hospital Wing!

Healer Tillstorm watched as Oakey stomped out of the infirmary. "Look at him. Acting like a big baby. Maybe next time he'll hold his tongue and mind his manners."

Pebbles. Not only were the students a bunch of babies, but Professor Flamsteed was a little off his rocker. "Right. Wouldn't want to keep you from walking your rock." Maybe she woiuld have to have a talk with the headmistress about this one. A trip to St. Mungos might do him some good. Get him one of those psychological evaluations.

Waving her wand around the area she readied it for the next patient. Hopefully this one would have a real reason for being here.

"After you professor." Wouldn't want to keep that rock waiting now would we.
