Video: David Heyman talks Harry Potter film series on BBC's Film 2011
This week's episode of BBC's Film 2011 released a new interview with producer David Heyman about how he began his long journey into creating the Harry Potter film series, interspersed with short interviews from J.K. Rowling, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson throughout the years. While no new footage from any of the Harry Potter films, including Deathly Hallows: Part II, were shown, the clip gives a great nostalgic look at the series as a whole.
Wonderful interview!! I loved hearing some of his favorite scenes throughout the series. The Slughorn scene with Harry is also one of my very favorites.
Your flavour is milk. You're a quiet person and enjoy the peace, but you also
enjoy a bit of something new. You like the unconventional surprises that life
brings. You keep those dear to you close and adore them, as they adore you. ♥
I love how passionate Heyman is for these films. The films could not have been in better hands than the cast and crew of Harry Potter as they have been.

omg!!!! i literally just now created this account so i can put in my two cents here about the favourite scenes....the priori (hope that's spelled correctly) incantatem scene in goblet of fire...harry's first REAL interaction with his parents....short but sweet..... but i loved david's other favs as well, this clip got me all emotional, CAN"T WAIT FOR PART 2!!!!!!!!!!
I love it how David Heyman talks about the series in such a passionate way. You can tell it hasn't been just a source of money to him and the production team, it's been something deeper and something so much more. And it's been great to have these films in the hands of so talented people who really respect and love the story. Things could've been A LOT worse! I trust these people and I have no doubt that the final part of the series will be epic.
This video also made me tear up a bit. Just can't get my head around the fact that we're so close to the end. I can't imagine what it'll be like to sit in the theatre when the final credits start rolling. There'll be a lot of tears.
Too bad the video quality isn't that great, but it's a good interview nevertheless.
I can't wait until July to finally see the last part. Thanks so much for making the best books ever into the greatest movies of all time :'D

Great interview!!! It's going to be really sad when all of this is over... :'( But Harry Potter will truly never be over, now will it? But I do still hope J.K. Rowling writes more books...I'll pick up anything she writes, no joke!
Your flavour is chewing gum. You're a risk-taker and like to swim against the current.
You face risk like it's an everyday thing and embrace the challenges set
before you. You set your own path and conformity isn't in your vocabulary. ♥
